"This hotel is good enough, it has everything you would need and its close to LAX. They also provide shuttle to airport. But if you are sensitive to noise you might want ear plugs, at nights i can hear car sounds . Other than that i had a great time here, no complains except for no free parking ,it is $8 per day or something like that. However you can find free parking behind the hotel, just be sure to check the signs and move your car if there is street cleaning 2 hours otherwise you will get a fine that's way more than $8.
It's across the road from Chase bank and Ralphs, so that's pretty convenient too to get some snacks or whatever."

"I have stayed at the Hacienda before with my pilot husband before I would join him on a trip. We were usually out in the building farthest from the lobby. On a visit to my daughter, I booked deal for the night before my departure so I'd be close to LAX and have an early shuttle. I was in the main building in a first floor room that was easy for me to get to by myself and to leave from in the morning. It was the nicest room at the Hacienda that I've ever stayed in with a patio, trees, azaleas, and a beautiful fountain in the patio area. Very clean, nice sheets, good mattress, and lovely pillows. The whole experience was very nice despite the fact I was alone and sad about leaving my daughter. Even the shuttle driver was cheerful in the morning, maneuvering safely through the horrendous airport traffic."

"The first thing I noticed is the 'security' door to the hotel from the parking lot did not latch. Then when I got off of the elevator the front of the ice machine was laying on the floor. The room was clean but there was an unpleasant stuffy odor in the room. I went to the neighboring Walgreens for air freshener it was that obtrusive. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room either."

"we had a double bed room. 1st night was good we heard water running but just thought it was toilet running no biggy wakeup the next day water sound was louder. i went to bathroom and the tub was soaked. so we called down to report, they said people upstairs must not have the curtain in the tub. so, we'll talk to them. next day more i mean mmoore water once again same story line. we complained was offered a new room decided to take it. mind you we were settled in. went to new room just to listen to screaming, giggling, and obnoxious girls jumping up and down like it was thunder cat alley. new room!!! please, they rectified by putting us on the 5th floor and the rest of the trip there were no other problems so, lets just say the floors leak not just with water but also with noise . the place was cute and convenient to lax and water shows. i'm sorry i usually don't like to get wet before i get in the shower. i hope they resolved this problem before the next visiters arrived. also we were never told there was a shuttle to the local mall which we were looking for (free) but it was clean especially the bathroom ha! ha! yes musty smelling but you get used to it at least we did. staff was good. we never used the pool . the conveint store wasn 't conveint she closes mid day when actually need something gone for 1 hour dumb

"Hacienda Hotel was close and convenient. My flight got in late so I stayed the night here and picked up my rental car in the morning. I was impressed with the night staff and services I.e the front desk was very informative, there was a 24 hour fitness center, place to get water and snacks and an open restaurant. I had read a complaint about the shuttle service but I had absolutely no problem with it."

"I booked this hotel for one night only as I had to catch an early flight the next morning. I would never have stayed longer than one night - and was very disappointed in that. It was hot (a/c didn't work) it smelled musty, the beds were uncomfortably floppy with no support. I called down for extra towels and never got them; It was noisy as there were people partying in the courtyard that the rooms are built around. Parking was across the street and inconvenient. This is NOT a 3-star hotel - it was barely even a 2-star property."

"The staff were Pleasant, but hurried. The elevators are ridiculously small and outdated, as well as the rooms! The hidden charge (you find out at check in) of $8.00 for parking, simply adds injury to insult. I actually felt unsafe to stay at this hotel. I was so dissatisfied with my accommodations that I abruptly curtailed my scheduled stay; I left the following day. I truly don't believe you'd find such poor quality accommodations in a Motel-6, as I found at the Hacienda Hotel. It should be noted: I can not attest to the newer part of the hotel, where the accommodations may be better. Nonetheless, a guest should not be charged the price of staying in a better room, than assigned one of 'much' lesser quality."

"My first impression of hacienda was concerning based on the outside, it looked dated. When I entered I was greeted with friendly staff. I was able to check in with ease. Looking around the lobby you could see things were dated but had been taken care of over the years. I inquired about the parking and it's only 8.00 a night but unlimited coming and going through out the day, which wasn't bad. However there was street parking available at random times of the day. When I entered the room I thought it was okay. It contained the basics and the linen was clean. We had a pool view which wasn't impressive but it was a view. After a moments time of being in the room it became humid. I turned in the A/C which after a while it was apparent it doesn't really work because the room never got cold, in fact it became more humid. But I was able to open the balcony door and it blew in nice cool air despite the warm air outside. In fact we left the door open all night and made the room very comfortable. The hotel has a lot of ammenties that I thought were nice such as the airport shuttle, close to public transportation, near restaurants and supermarket. The restaurant attached to the hotel is a must NOT. The server touched random food with there bare hands inbetween taken orders. The prep space should be cleaned more often. The food itself was not delicious, it was over cooked. The servers Delivered bare minimum service. It was a busy morning , which maybe why but they still could've been better. The hotel location was about 20 minutes to Hollywood and Beverly hills(driving) and about 15 minutes from Santa Monica and Venice beach.
The reason I would be hesitant return to this hotel is because on this trip I was with other adults who knows to wash hands after touching things, but the next time I return to California I will have a little one and I wouldn't want her to stay in the room , but overall it was dusty and the carpet I'm pretty sure was dirtier than most hotels. I think the housekeeping does the bare minimum cleaning which isn't okay when youre traveling with kids.
. This isnt the worst hotel I can imagine but it's not the best for the price.
The room however did not spoil my trip in Cali I still had a great time."

"Arrived at 1am with family. Given keys to room but when I opened the door and turned on the light someone was sleeping in the bed, awoke startled. Manager was apologetic to small degree. This hotel is VERY dated, hallways and rooms had a strong smell of cleanser and overall in poor repair, gouges out of the walls, doors and ceiling. Room in poor repair . toilet seat had been painted with latex paint and was half peeled off, bare fluorescent tubes in room, internet on tv could not even be read. I'd say find another hotel."

"The hotel is OK with the price. But i booked 2 rooms, and requested be next to each other. First they gave us one on 2nd floor, and the other on 4th floor, then we requested again and they gave us the room 1207 and 1234, they are on the same floor, but on two ends of a long hall way. Another issue is there is no coffee pot in the room, i don't remember when was the last time i had room without this, it's very inconvenient.rnBut i liked the courtyard, if i return, that will be the only reason."

"Lobby and the hang-out area in the front was great and suited its 3-star rating; however, it all changed once we approached the hallway to get to the EXTREMELY DATED elevator which could barely fit 3-4 with their travel bags. We arrived at about 12am and expected a comfortable walk to the room; oh boy, was I wrong. The hallways were by-far the darkest hallways I have ever walked through. Dark to the point that it was eerie. The room was really small which is fine b/c for the price paid, I won't complain.....UNTIL I walked in the bathroom. It was FILTHY. There were stains on the wall, the tub, the counter. I found a hair in one of the towel, and may I add, the towels were not WHITE. I told myself it's for 3-nights so bare with it. I took off my shoes and walked barefoot. The carpet was so dirty that it made me uncomfortable. The TV counter was sticky. Tried to get to an outlet to charge my phone and dust bunnies attacked me. It was VERY dusty. Due to the late hour and exhaustion, I had no choice but to stay the night there. We immediately requested to cut the visit short at this hotel. The hotel should have been rated a 2.5 stars and NOT 3. "

"We liked this hotel, it was very inviting, had great outdoor seating areas (although a lot of smokers sit there so it smells at times), a great bar with dancing on certain nights (the night we were there it was a a type of line/ballroom dancing and they dancers were REALLY good!!) and the beds were comfy. Free Wifi and very friendly staff. The neighborhood was safe and convenient for our convention in downtown. The only cons were: They gave us the wrong room at first so instead of a king we had a double bed on the first night and the next day the woman behind the desk wasn't the nicest about their mistake. The parking lots are not very convenient so I would leave your bags in the lobby then go park (you have to walk around the block."

"I was really disappointed with my stay. First, the check-in process was horrible. There was not a decent place to park your car. The security guards threatened to tow your vehicle even though you were CLEARLY STANDING IN LINE TO CHECK-IN INTO YOUR ROOM!!!! And they were extremely rude!! One gentlemen almost didn't get an opportunity to finish his check-in process with the front-desk attendant because the security guard was trying to hustle him out. The front desk staff was SUPER SLOW! And they were busy talking to each other instead of trying to get the line of guests reduced. Second, the room was very cold at night and the heat didn't work. Third, do not use the third party internet-provided machines at the hotel. What a rip off! I was trying to print out some docs and either there was no paper in the printer or it just didn't work. The printer was locked in a closed cabinet, so I couldn't check it. Since I used a credit card, I couldn't get a credit back. Fourth, the elevators were scary. I almost got trapped in the doors twice because they would close so fast. And, one of the elevators would shake when it stopped at a floor and not open immediately. One gentlemen and I thought we were going to be stuck on the elevator and need to call for help because it took a while for the door to open. The highlight of my stay at the hotel was the fact that the shower worked. The cleaning staff was extremely friendly, but the rest of the employees need a customer service training course! You don't get repeat business if you can't provide great service to your guests. I will not be staying at this hotel again, period!"

"This was a great place to stay; great value for money, excellent beds, extremely clean bathrooms, oustanding staff and very friendly service. My mother and I stayed in the renovated tower of the hotel, and there was also a lovely pool! Over the road from the Hotel is a Starbucks and Sizzler restaurant and the train station just up the road (10mins walk). I would definately stay here again and will certainly be recommending it to others."

"The room was spacious and comfortable, with crisp linen on the bed and four large pillows as standard. Although the general decor of the room was a little tired, and the shower wasn't particularly powerful, I felt I got alot for my money. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were a touch (in spite of the usual Californian instructions of 'no' this and 'no' that). The security and concierge staff were great and should teach the moody check-in staff the virtues of a smile and some manners. Bring and extra $100 if you feel like have an awful drink in the bar and FYI there is a Denny's on El Segundo Blvd rather than the on-site restaurant."

"Travelled as family of 5 and couldn't fit into one room so ordered 2 deluxe queens - there was nothing 'deluxe' about these rooms - old, dirty, water stains on the ceiling - asked for 2 rooms side by side or close to each other as I had put into the requests section when I booked - was told they could not do it as they didn't have any - then found us 2 rooms on the main floor - was very noisy - We got a luggage cart to put our luggage onto it only to have a rude bellhop come and take it away - saying it was for bellhops to use first - only pro was it was nice and close to the airport and included free shuttle."

"This hotel is the worst hotel in my experience. It is not 3 star level, and should be below 1 star hotel. 1st, the parking need $8/day and no space to parking even for check-in. All these hidden fee is not display in the hotel description. 2nd,the room is terrible and no sound isolation between room and level. Looks like the neibougher stay beside your bed! 3rd, the service is very bad. The service people is very tough and looks like you own them 1 million dollor!"

"The hotel is centrally located near LAX. Upon driving up, we were a little disappointed with the way the hotel looked from the outside and were afraid that it wasn't going to be in very good shape, but upon walking into the lobby we saw a very nice courtyard with blooming plants and a nice place to relax. Our room was a basic room, nice king bed, balcony doors that opened and let in a wonderful breeze, clean linens, and a nice comfy down (probably alternative) comforter. It was actually a nice little oasis in the city. I would recommend for the money that we paid."

"Cannot beat the price in the area. Overall quality is good, nothing dirty or broken. One thing is that they took a deposit out of my card without mentioning a thing. I know that this is very normal but one should always be notified because not all hotels charge a deposit, some just keep card on file just in case any charges come up. Not very good practice IMO. Nonetheless, best deal in general area."

"MY SON AND I STAYED 3 NIGHTS AT THE HOTEL. IT WAS CONVENIENT TO PUBLIC TRANSORTATION TO DOWNTOWN LA, BEACHES, SHOPPING.. HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE ALTHOUGH BEDS AND PILLOWS COULD BE A BIT MORE COMFY..STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND WE ENJOYED POOL AND SAUNA DAILY- WOULD STAY AGAIN!!"

"Overall stay turned out to be ok...initially when we checked in night staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.The safety chain fell off the door in one room and the other room had a safety chain only attached with one screw.We eventually changed rooms way after midnight,we had checked in round 1030pm.Anyhow,convenient location,good shuttle service and clean quiet rooms."

"Firstly, I was giving a room key at the front desk and to my surprise not only didn't the key work the first time it didn't work the second either. I had to catch an early flight one morning, as I was taking a shower, I noticed that the water was continuing to rise and not draining, with it came black debris from the drain, I had no choice but to continue standing in polluted water to finish my shower. After checking out, the morning clerk after telling her my experience could only say she would inform housekeeping. She was very insensitive and offered no comfort to me or my husband."

"Room had dirty towles on the floor when i came in. Went to the bathroom sink was full of tile and sawdust. The tub was full of tile,wood and sawdust,and there was a big hole i the shower where the fixtures used to be! Was tired after a 8 hour drive, all i wanted was a shower and a nap.Not too much to ask for I think,their only respose was sorry, and we will comp you for your $8.00 parking fee which shoud be free anyway! I am a disabled Vet and the closest parking I could find was a block and a half away! The pitures they show of the Hotel look nothing like the real deal,this place is old and run down!"

"horrendous booked 2 rooms with double beds /called morning off arrival to advise would be checking around 9pm /check in took 1 1/2 hours of horror.gave my name disappeared for about 10 min cam back said no rooms/left again for another 10 min came back said found us some rooms went to them /each room had 2 single beds for 4 people I think not very small singles /went back to them got the manager from H!!!! finally she said after 3/4 hr she had rooms they were double beds all right but one had a leaking air conditioner so floor was soaking wet the other stunk /but we gave up & took them as had kids & this was about 11.30 at nite.the rest of the hotel seemed ok but the experience with the manager(who should take some custumer sat courses ruined the visit>many others had same experience given rooms with people in etc never again .really only good thing was close to airport"

"This hotel has two buildings. The old building is terrible. It is worth as 1 star hotel. The new building which is not really new but has better conditions. It is worth as 2 stars hotel.

"This hotel was awful!!!!! The staff members barely spoke English and were rude, very unhelpful. The hotel itself was old, dirty, and the web picture is very misleading. The hotel is centrally located and the shuttle is convient but overall this place should be closed."

"I hated this hotel it was dirty, smelly, and old, very old. The staff lost our reservation and gave us a horrible hassel to give us a room, that we prepaid for. I was thankful that we were visiting family and didn't have to stay here the entire visit. To top things off the bed was extremely uncomfrontable. I hate this place.... DO NOT stay here, ever!!!!!"

"this is convenient to the airport and the major expressways, as well as other main streets. Food store, shopping, starbucks across the street. Car rental companioes nearby. Free shuttle to airport runs every 20 min, round the clock. Great value, nice rooms, good amenities ( fit room, pool, spa )."

"My stay was good until the morning of check out and the maid knocked on the door at 8am New years day morning. Woke me up and I was totally bothered, then again at 10 am she knocked again my question was why when checkout is not til noon. When I checked in to the hotel the desk clerk said I could stay no later than 2pm without being charge. H e only told me because I asked."
