Visited Two Bunch for the second time for our 25th wedding anniversary. Had a very enjoyable time. The mud baths were sublime and our dinner superb. Really enjoyed the fact that the resort still has a quaint patina of history and has not been overdone. Service was good, not great, but when you are lounging around in a robe you really don't want to be bothered. Have to say though.... Had the bad experience of losing my wallet. It was found a few days after we left with everything intact which... Read more

It's Wednesday, not a holiday, no reason an advanced reserved room isn't ready unless they put groupon users at the bottom of their guests. After waiting over 4 hours, and seeing multiple guests get room keys....I still sit waiting! They simply say it's a guaranteed check in at 4pm. 3 minutes to go...but not feeling it. Hope the stay gets better from here. People coming in complaining of no TV remote, no parking near their room. Yikes!!!

I spent two nights at the Two Bunch Palms with a group of girlfriends in mid-May. The resort is in a beautiful location with an amazing view of the San Jacinto mountains. While the resort is on the older side, most of the common areas and the rooms were nicely updated (the bathrooms in the common areas were still quite dated, the bathroom in the locker room had a sulfurous odor). The hot spring pools were very clean and felt amazing. The housekeeping staff and most of the wait staff was very fri... Read more

My husband and I spent one night at two bunch palms this week. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back. The room was well appointed and had been remodeled. The property has lots of trees and grass which Makes it feel like you are not in the desert. It was so serene and put you at peace. We really liked the meditation, tai chi and yoga classes as well. The restaurant had lovely atmosphere and delicious food. As other reviews said the grotto pool has some paint peeling but it stil... Read more

My solo visit to Two Bunch Palms was just what the doctor ordered. OK, the doctor didn't actually order it, but I prescribed it for myself to relieve some stress and I made a good call if I must say. The therapeutic hot springs waters were calming and detoxifying, and combined with several spa treatments from their lengthy list of options, I was on my way to feeling better. Rooms have been updated and have all the modern conveniences, with a zen-modern sensibility I found very comfortable. Desp... Read more

Unfortunately we did not have a good experiance at the resort. Check in was not bad, however we were in one of the rooms farthest away from the pool and spa even thou we had requested one close by when we made the reservation. The room was tine with no drawers to place your clothes, so we winged it living out of suit cases. The main pool (Cold) did not have enought chairs for all the clients and people were fighting to grab one, most were reserved earlier in the morning with magazines or towels.... Read more

Another heavenly visit to Two Bunch Palms! From the warm and friendly greeting upon arrival to the ease of check in, I felt I once again I had made the right choice for another Spa holiday to indulge in much needed self care. First on my list was a soak in the sparkling mineral waters of the Grotto to relax. Never fails! Next on my list was a stroll through the meticulously maintained grounds, and to sit on the bench under the canopy of lush green trees next to the mystical Labyrinth and listen ... Read more

It's a decent little hotel that you can enjoy the free hot springs. Spa or mud bath are available too. We like the scenery lake and trees, and the free breakfast is cool too, which is surprisingly not a buffet style but nice breakfast set. The room has enough space with good design too.

This was one of the nicest most relaxing trips I have ever taken over a 24 hour period.... From the location to the food, EVERYTHING was good... The bathrooms in the rooms were a little dated, however, I doubt you'll be spending much time there. The Grotto is to be experienced by all in this lifetime. The grounds are meticulously maintained & the people couldn't be more friendly. We only wish we had more time to spend there....

Very welcoming and friendly on arrival. Room 7 met all our needs. Recently updated in tasteful decor, it was very very spacious with double sliding mirror wardrobes to hide our cases. As per requested, it was in a quiet location away from other rooms, and the added bonus was its own private courtyard with seating area. Outside was the car park area by courtyard gate. . So no lugging suitcases . All The staff were very welcoming and friendly and very knowledgable within their professional work... Read more

Don't miss the opportunity to work with their resident Shaman, Dani Burling. The massages at the spa were excellent, especially with Ginger. The restaurant had first rate dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can't wait to return to this relaxing peaceful environment. My husband and I highly recommend a visit to Two Bunch Palms.

My husband and I just spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Two Bunch Palms Resort in Desert Hot Springs, CA. What a unique and special place! After making our initial reservation a few weeks ago for only one night‚??s stay 6/25/16, I called the hotel the day before to ask for an early check-in (regular check-in is 4 p.m.). While they said they could not guarantee it, they were extremely nice, put our request in the computer, and told us that whenever we arrived, we could start using the fa... Read more

I visited with my husband in July. Our room was spacious, modern and clean. The amenities were luxurious. No need to pack a lot of clothes- I loved wearing my white robe to meals and lived in my bathing suit during the day (do pack some exercise clothes for yoga and hiking). The food at Essence was fantastic- we ate three meals a day here! Even my husband, who is a meat and potatoes guy, liked the food. We had a car and could venture out whenever we wanted but we were so relaxed and enjoye... Read more

This is a fabulous resort! Whether you are coming for romantic, solo or group relaxation, it all can happen here. I was here for a social visit, and will definitely be back. Guest service is amazing. Genuine friendliness from all staff who are obviously happy to work here. From checkin, to restaurant, to spa, and even in areas where "service" may not be needed (soaking in the evening) there were staff members to assist. The food is fresh and delicious. The grounds are rustic, yet clean. ... Read more

I've stayed at Two Bunch Palms a dozen or so times since the early 90s. This historic spot is a geothermal gem about 20 minutes from the Palm Springs Airport, an hour from Ontario, CA, 2.5 from San Diego (a lovely drive) and 3+ from LA (avoid this if you can!) I've seen the property change hands, been one of only a few guests in the Heat of August, and one of many during long holiday weekends. Two things about TBP are most notable: 1-Their untreated geothermal water is available for endless so... Read more

This is one of those relaxing little getaways where class meets rustic. A great place to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Around every corner is a bit of magic. I think the new ownership has really created something special here. I stumbled upon TBP online after searching for a hot springs destination spa for a 10-year anniversary trip with my husband and our first trip without our kids in 5 YEARS! The reviews seemed strong overall, the price seemed reasonable for what was offered and based on the website and photo gallery, I took a leap of faith and booked a 3-night stay. My wife and I spent two days and one night enjoying the peaceful and rejuvenating waters of Two Bunch Palms. It was our first time visiting Palm Springs and we had just finished two days of camping in Joshua Tree. Mostly agree with Citycowgirl713's review. I, too, was surprised by the renovation upon arrival as it was never mentioned anywhere. Nonetheless, my room was far enough away that other than when using the grotto area, it wasn't a problem. At the grotto, though, when relaxation is key, it most certainly is a problem, not to mention the workmen walking through the area which is unnerving when one is trying to just unwind. The room was modern and nice, but the back yard/patio area definitely nee... Read more
