Desert Hot Springs just doesn't have that much of a selection of reasonably-priced hotels of decent quality. This one is somewhat acceptable on a price-quality tradeoff. Rooms are fairly large but deep.so dark inside given the dark carpeting. There's a desk/dining room for two, sofa and coffee table, and microwave and fridge which is welcome. Bathroom is standard hotel/motel of its era and has a drying line, though awkwardly situated. The hotel infrastructure is rather dated and tired. Sta... Read more

Super nice people! Completely unhelpful. But that's okay. However, when I realized that my room (232) was above the laundry room and several industrial sized dryers would be vibrating the room through the night, I called the font desk and asked it would be possible to change rooms. I was told by the man at the front desk. He would check and call back. He never called back. However before he went home, he logged the computer that I was moved into room 223 (still above the dryers), so the new shif... Read more

The room was ok, the food also was just ok. The pools were in need of repair. The front desk was disorganized and could not even print my folio when I was there, they were supposed to email it but I still have not gotten it. The sheet on the bed had a hole in it, unfortunately my toe kept finding it! I think they put a herd of elephants above us, they liked walking around at 2:00am - 8:00am. Wifi was very, very, very slow.

The room was big - a suite. It accommodated our large family. The small kitchenette came in very handy and the table was very helpful. We had direct access to the pools as we were by the door leading to a gate leading to the pools. That was great. I (mom) got a massage while there and I really enjoyed that. The different temperature pools were very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again on another visit to the desert.

This place is a great place to spend the day. It's so much less crowded than it's sister property next store. The food and service in the restaurant is fab. The drinks are priced well. The variety of pools makes it possible for everyone to be happy. I recommend it.

My experience was an improvement from my last visit. Front desk makes a big effort. Emily is especially congenial. Gorgeous spas with clean water. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, wonderful food at restaurant, beautiful views. Internet connection is great. My only complaint is the second-hand smoke, which mostly comes from staff smoking in authorized and in unauthorized areas. Guests who smoke should go to DHS Spa Hotel down the block.

Best Thing: The hot pools. There are eight pools of varying temperature. One is a large swimming pool. There are two kids pools. The pools are situated in the large patio area. Worst Thing: The Welcome. The reception was clipped, cold and efficient. ‚??Welcome to Miracle Hot Springs‚?? was spoken without warmth or meaning. The room itself had many things unplugged such as the microwave and bedside lamps. The screen door was off its guide and the dvd player did not work. The a/c was off and the ... Read more

I like this place. The pools are open 24 hours, the staff is friendly and the rooms are ok for the price. I enjoy staying here, and I never felt like I've paid too much. This time, however, my room was a bit noisy, with a loud vibration that went on continuously. I got used to it by the second night, but it was very disturbing until I did. My room was not as clean as I would have liked; it looked like the housekeeper only dusted and did not wipe down the two tables in the room, which both h... Read more

Great resort, friendly staff, good food at the restaurant, they clean the pools more often now, good job on that! The non-smoking policy is not enforced. Also, the gate next to the downstairs rooms slams the whole day and night and it's disturbing!!! Otherwise, we love going here!

Rooms were in run down condition. The thermostat in our room was so old it was controlled with a mercury liquid tube. Since it was not working properly we complained and insisted on anew one. they initially said "no", then finally came up with a replacement. The mineral pools were generally to hot except for the large cool pool which was very nice. Weekends are crowded so it is best to go there during the week, if at all. We went to Miracle Springs Resort and Spa over the 4th of July weekend, and I must say that I was really taken by the ease of the entire stay. The resort is a smaller boutique type of resort, but perfect for a cozy get away. We enjoyed our stay while in the area, especially the room facing out, not towards the pool. Nice and quiet. Two things that could be better are, one, the absence of organic vegan entees and, two, the water is referenced in he lobby as the best tasting spring water but the taps are municipal water and there is no "spring" water to drink.

Nice place to stay for a short vacation witj the family. Having a 24-hr access to the pool from our room is the best part of staying in this hotel. Will visit again in wintertime to better appreciate the steamy spring water in the pool. Our family had a great time and we didn't even leave the hotel because they have a nice restaurant inside. My son enjoyed going from one pool to another. It's best to come here during winter when it's not too hot in the desert.

Theresa and Nicholas then did our massages, I don't think I said one world after hello, they made the world melt away.

I was recently at Miracle Springs hotel in Desert Hot Springs and I ran into a wonderful lady by the name of Sylvia and she works in the maintenance department for your hotel. Not only have I seen this woman break her back and run around like crazy helping anybody and everybody she can while maintaining the property keeping up with guest request and most of all doing it with the biggest smile the happiest most upbeat positive personality. I believe this woman needs to be recognized for her hard ... Read more

I love this place. Totally for adults. NOT FOR KIDS. Go nextdoor to the sister hotel if you have kids. The 8 pools are fantastic. I love the landscaping. This visit we had one tv that we were not smart enough to turn on! Sylvia came out quickly and turned it on for us. She was fun and upbeat! Lupe, our waiter did a great job serving breakfast. We had room service this visit and it was fast and delicious. If you want chic and modern, go elsewhere. This place is comfortable and relaxing. The... Read more

This property is close to The Desert Hot Springs Spa. But as far as the spa services go, the setting here more professional and indoor compared to the Spa next door. This establishment is more adult friendly. They have a restaurant and bar.

We met a guy in a hot tub in Monterey who recommended this place to us on our roadtrip. We changed our plans to give it a go. We stayed for a total of 3 nights and totally relaxed and chilled out. The place was a little old fashioned to be honest, but clean, tidy and looked after with a very good restaurant and some of the best customer service I have ever come across. Nothing was a problem and all staff I encountered couldn't do enough for you. Very impressed. Keep up the good work guys, it's m... Read more

To make a long story short I visited at this resort on 09/19/2016 and left my pillow, I take my own pillow because the hotel has low quality pillows and Matresses. So I had to call the hotel a total of 5 times before anyone could tell me if they found my pillow. I was promised a call back from Dana which I NEVER received. So finally I called back on 09/25/16 and was told by the front desk receptionist that they did not find my pillow. Oviously the hotel probably removed my pillow case and using... Read more

We have stayed at this report many times when living in southern CA and though not very fancy it had been adequate because we were visiting mainly for the spa services. This was our first visit in 6 years since moving to northern CA. We had, in the past, received e-mails stating that they had upgraded their rooms. So we were looking forward to our stay. We were thoroughly disappointed in the condition of the facility. The first room 154 assigned to us was in no way upgraded. It was called... Read more

I've been here twice in the past six months. Great for families from toddlers to grandparents as there are many pools of varying temperatures. The temperature can hit triple digits so something to keep in mind for booking during cooler weather. During the summer, it was almost 100 out and we only swam at night. Not much else to do in this area, but definitely worth coming here for the hot springs!

We stay here each time we drop my daughter off at school. You don't come for the luxurious of the rooms, as they are pretty basic (roomy, clean, but there's always something a bit "off" about them). You don't come for the customer service, each person that has ever checked us in or out, was so apathetic about her/his job. Food is meh, go three blocks down for great Mexican food. But! For $90/night, and really great, beautiful pools, nothing else can beat it on value. It's easy to tolerate the re... Read more

I work as a caregiver and I take care of other people so I decided to take some time off and take care of myself. Miracle Springs was like an oasis in heaven. The first day I had a sea salt scrub and an aromatherapy massage, which was fabulous. It was so fabulous that I went back the second day and had another aromatherapy massage. On my last day I had a facial which was equally as good. I started off each day with yoga at 7:30 am and I enjoyed every moment. I had a beautiful room with vie... Read more

I'm going to that hotel twice a year: spring & foll. It is not the fancy one, but stuff is friendly; pools & jacuzzis always clean. In the room refrigerator and microwave which is very convenient if you bring some food with you. Have had some problems in the bathroom, but maintanance lady Sylvia is the best. She fixed the leak under the sink and faucet as well. It was quick and professional.

The pools and hot tips so we're great and a wonderful way to relax after an intense weekend. The town itself a surprise, resort town past its prime but hotel was an oasis in the middle. Miracle Springs Resort and Spa was overwhelmingly disappointing. It's in a run down neighborhood and the exterior looks like is came out of a 70s horror movie. The lobby is the nicest part about the place. There's nowhere to go outside of the resort. The room was pretty average and generically comfortable. Luckily, my boyfriend and I had a great time in each other's company, but I wish we found a better place to stay.

I live in San Diego North County and now all the hot springs resorts in the vicinity. I am not verry familiar with the Palm Desert though and need to explore more of it. Having a center point to which we can return to at the Miracle Springs Resort and Spa is refreshing to say the least and charges my spirit.
