Don't stay on the 2nd floor. Lobby is on the 3rd floor. We didn't sleep all night. Hotel seems old and needs updating. Staff is friendly. Not a very good location. Noisy and not a lot of parking. Wont stay there again.

When I travel I like to try and stay outside the large cities and venture out to the suburbs a bit. It is often cheaper, I get to see how people live outside the city, I get to try out the public transport and I get to see more of the surrounding area when I do travel on the public transport - so that's how I ended up at the Hampton Inn Daly City. The Hampton Inn is situated just across the road from the Junipero Serra Freeway, a 12 lane (6 each way) highway that I thought would be a problem wi... Read more

Stayed at this Hotel which was a convenient 15 minute drive to San Francisco. They have complimentary parking so I did not have to pay for it. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't spend too much time at the hotel since we were out and about into the city. It was just what we needed and it didn't break the bank!

I have been staying in this hotel since it opened about 20 years ago for both business and pleasure. It always exceeds the quality I have come to expect. I would not stay anywhere else in the Bay Area. It is conveniently located approximately half way between the San Francisco International Airport and downtown San Francisco, with public transit available to both. The staff are great and they and the general manager Marianna always go that extra step to make your stay enjoyable.

Good hotel for the purpose of my visit ‚?? graduation. The price point is a little high for the type of hotel, however I understand it's largely due to location. Complementary breakfast and Wi-Fi where are the features that attracted me to you coming and semi mitigating the price.

This hotel was great! We (me, spouse and adult daughter) were there for three nights. They were finishing some remodeling (new carpeting) the first day we were there, but it was unintrusive. The hotel has free parking - a small garage under it and a ground lot next to it. There is also street parking. A word of caution when parking: don't forget to turn your wheels when parking on a hill. (Left facing uphill, right facing downhill). I didn't know and got a ticket, which the hotel took care of. My dad was in the hospital at the SF VA and this was a great option for us. It was an easy drive to and from the hospital, and the on the go breakfast option came in handy for us. The staff were all very professional, helpful, and friendly. Rooms were generally clean and well kept. While I never experienced any issues with finding parking, the lot is small and I can see how it could easily fill up. I'd definitely stay here again.

Our hotel was very nice the staff was exceptional. I was somewhat concerned about the surrounding area as a result of the trash all around this nice hotel. We had to walk a mile each day to the BART station and while I felt safe I was saddened about the amount of trash and the condition of the BART station. Parking at the hotel was free and easy to get in and out of. If I had to stay in this area again I would not hesitate to use this Hampton Inn, very clean and outstanding staff.

I have rated this hotel on trip advisor for many years as I have been staying here for business and pleasure since it opened 20+ years ago. In my opinion it is the beat hotel in the San Francisco Bay Area and I would not stay anywhere else. Good location for the price (when there isn't a conference in town that inflates the normal room rates). The included breakfast has plenty of healthy options as well as treats (hello waffles and whipped cream!), and the bed is supportive but luxurious. Wi-Fi could be faster--not sure if this is because the hotel's connection needs more bandwidth or their access point network needs to be upgraded/expanded--but it does cover the entire property.
