I can't say enough about the hotel staff. They bent over backwards to accomodate our enormous needs, from changing out the ballrooms for different functions on multiple days to the excellent meals for our banquets and luncheons. Our event co-ordinator, Ryan Lytle, banquet captains Rafael, Robert and Jose and our sales manage Deb Sanders were all pleasant, efficient and were wonderful to work with. A convention of our length is a huge undertaking and they were all pros. Could not be happier.

The hotel was a fairly typical hotel for anyone who travels frequently; one with large public spaces and decent-sized rooms. Surprisingly, the staff were not warm and welcoming. I stay at Hilton properties almost weekly. You come to expect a level of service, a level of comfort and a Hilton standard. At this Hilton, I encountered and observed some issues. But it is a Hilton and because of that, I gave it 4 rather than 3 stars. First is the parking. I would recommend using Valet parking, because the self-parking lot is small and over a couple of days, it was a snipe hunt to even find a vacant spot. It's the third time I'm staying in this hotel and I like the quiet area sir rounding it. As I usually travel alone safety of the area is very important. In addition it's a real nice hotel. Breakfast is expensive though. If time allows you can eat outside but if time is of essence, we don't have much choice.

I was at the Hilton for my 50th AHS reunion. The parking was a nightmare. But enjoyed reunion. Staff at desks weren't very experienced and told us upon arrival the room we were getting wasn't very desirable but that was all available at this time. Later around 3 more would be ready so we said we would wait but we were told that wouldn't matter! So just what was she trying to tell us?

I prefer hotels that have the option of a coffee shop. I thought $20 for a breakfast buffet that wasn't that great was steep. Staff was very friendly though - and that is always appreciated when on the road. Their bathroom vanity around the sink seemed higher and deeper than normal. Not the end of the world but harder when putting contacts in, make up on, etc.

I recently spent the weekend at the Costa Mesa Hilton attending my class reunion. Besides seeing old friends from high school and grammar school, the service throughout the facility was incredible. Hotel has instituted two "innovative" programs. Room service is brought to you in a box. Think Happy Meal with less quality and no prize unless you talk about the inflated price. Text for you car if you never want to get it the internet for the Valet was always gone and your message does not go through.

This is a decent place, but no more than that. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, quiet at night. As Hilton Honors members, we were up-graded to a suite on our last stay at this hotel. What a luxurious experience. Sitting room area with large TV, oouch & chairs, table & chairs, bar sink and refrigerator. Bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and stall shower - lots of counter space. This is our hotel of choice when attending events at Segerstrom Hall or South Coast Rep. Both a very short drive from the hotel. I would give this location zero stars if I could. Absolutely awful service from the moment we walked in the door. This hotel is typical of the Hilton brand. My family and I attended for a 3 day conference but chose to arrive 5 days early to tour the area and visit relatives.
