We arrived 3.5 hours before 4PM check-in, and they accommodated us with a second floor , one bedroom unit without a balcony. We asked if we could change rooms and were offered a unit that had patio doors that opened onto a three foot walk-out. This seemed like a better option since we wanted the ocean breezes, but it had not been cleaned yet. We agreed to wait, but, strangely enough, it wasn't ready until 4:45PM, 45 minutes after regular check-in. You would think if someone was waiting for an... Read more

This is the place to be. The views are amazing. The shoppes are unique and the experience will provide memories that will last a life time. Planning to be on the beach at sunset is breathtaking. Try the ice cream... it's delicious.

Coronado Beach Resort is the perfect location for a family, individual or couples stay. Their staff provides friendly service and privacy if that's what you prefer. The units are complete with small kitchens which make for easy meal preparation and the resort is located conveniently near lots of great restaurants! Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Our family stayed here for 2 nights this week. We found it on the Hotel Tonight App. We were so pleasantly surprised. The hotel was so clean and comfortable and spacious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Willie, Fernando and Breanna! They were so helpful with any of our questions. The location is great...Right in the middle of everything. Across from the Beach and with an easy walk to all the stores and restaurants. We enjoyed using the bikes and riding a... Read more

If you're looking looking for location this is a good stay other than that it's a mediocre room and extremely over priced. When you pay almost 700$ for a 2 night stay in a suite you expect delux. But this room needs a lot of upgrades and attention to detail. The location is nearby everything. We came for a wedding and this was the closest one available. Wouldn't come back not cause of the hotel but the "upiddy" Coronado residents are not too friendly too Hispanic people.

Loved the location, but we were put in a very dark room at the end of a corridor with one window tha faced a building. Our power in our bathroom and kitchen went out, including the outlets! Can you imagine 3 women and no power, no drying hair, taking shower, etc. Room was dark anyway. Putting on makeup in the morning was difficult to say the least. Manager said he would call us on cellphone and let us know while we were at San Diego Zoo, he never did. Thankfully the power was on when we re... Read more

You are made to feel very welcome at this hotel. When we asked to for a more quiet room away from the pool the reception staff sorted it straight away. The rooms are large bright and airy. They are stylish and comfortable. There is a shuttle into Coronado. The hotel is large but does not feel impersonal. Great for families, great for couples too. A really lovely place to stay.

We stayed at this really friendly resort for a week. The staff is friendly, it is in a good position and the use of the facilities at Loews Coronado a special bonus. The pool area there is fantastic. Coronado Beach reort is a block away from the beach and within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Orange Avenue. The free summer shuttle bus is a great help and stops right outside the door and so does the shuttle to Loews We loved the roof top seating area, the small kitchen is ... Read more

Quaint, smaller resort right across the famous Hotel Del Coronado. Staff was all very friendly and always helpful with any question or request we had. The location does make up for some of the things we missed i.e. most all the rooms do not have a balcony, there is no pool (but access to a pool at Loews is provided). There is a small roof top patio with a jacuzzi but no other outdoor common area. Very nice room with everything you could need. Very close to beach, restaurants galore and lots... Read more

This resort is beautiful and located right across the street from the Hotel Del Coronado which is right on the beach! There are a lot of restaraunts, shops, bars and music. I LOVE the Coronado Beach Resort. The rooms are newly done and the personnell are wonderful, even the bird Cody who is 24 years old now. Known her for about 15 years. Great family resort. My in-laws own and they allowed to us their 2 bedroom unit. My brother and his family joined us and we had the best time ever.

First class service and of course location, location location. The best place to stay on the island next to the Hotel Del Coronado. Unless you have a arm and a leg to spare for a house rental.19 years I have been going and will continue for years to come!

This timeshare resort is full service with partial kitchen, 1 and 2 bedrooms, and spa tub. It is right across the street from the Hotel Del Coronado. There is a daily fee to cover wifi, parking, and beach gear. There are restaurants all around and residences close by. Bicycling through this small town is a pleasure.

Loved that they had everything you could want for a day at the beach - towels, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, shovels, etc. Could have saved a bunch of room in my truck for the drive over from Phoenix! First off this is not a hotel. It is a time share. We bought a 1 bedroom unit for the 30th week (last week of July). I can say we are not disappointed and I don't see us trading our time for anywhere else. The proximity to the beach and downtown Coronado make this the best location. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach. The room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. And if it's to far to walk, you just check out a bike and ride! The rooms are small, the kitchens are very much a kitchenette, but who's spending time in their room! Had the room closest to the deck so I cooked every night, it was literally just seconds to walk the 10 feet outside. Lots of people were doing the same thing so I would just wait a short time to use the already hot grill, saving me time. Wonderful sunsets, wonderful weather, another 5 star visit

This is worth it to stay here. Across the street from the Hotel Del Coronado, and bay where you can run/walk/beach it. Literally all restaurants are within a block. I normally book 4-5 star hotels and bought this week at a charity auction and would return to it again! Great mini-kitchens in the units. Try to book one with a balcony. They have chairs, umbrellas, bikes for your use. Simple, clean, unbelievable location on Coronado.

We love CBR for many reasons but on our recent visit in Aug 2016 we were again reminded that no place has the customer service they do. We needed a last minute reservation and they not only worked hard to get it for us but included a bottle of wine to help us celebrate a milestone. Hiccups are part of life. Rarely does it happen at CBR but when it does they are always quick to solve the issue with professionalism and grace. This is my favorite place to stay, not just on Coronado but anywhere! Th... Could not have asked for a better vacation. We booked the CBR as a hotel, although it is a timeshare. The rooms are spacious, and have all of the modern amenities readily available. We have been around the world and the combination of comfort and location cannot be beat. We had spectacular weather, as is normally the case in the end of September, and our stay was as relaxing as can be. The Lowes Coronado pool is delightful and a gondola ride in the adjacent community was a romantic touch we didn't expect. The sunset with dramatic reds and oranges was fantastic. Our guests could not believe how comfortable the bed instead our unit was. First rate service and friendly staff.

Amazing that there is a $20 a night resort fee when nothing is at this place and you have to travel several blocks to the hotel they have an arrangement with. This is a timeshare property, but the are also rentals, particularly in the off-season. We had a two bedroom unit with mini-kitchen. We ate in all but one dinner. There is a Von's grocery store a few blocks away. Beds were comfortable, and everything we asked for was provided. There is a resort fee for many services and benefits: swimming at the Loew's hotel on Silver Strand, sand toys and beach chairs, etc. there are some activities and excursions offered, as well.

My husband and I just stayed at the CBR with our two kids (ages 6 &9). Although this is a timeshare that you can own a week at, we just rented it for 6 days as you would a hotel by booking online.
