We were so happy we booked our stay here and not the Coronado Hotel which was double the price! We did go visit the Coronado and had lunch and had the experience of it without paying the price! The Marriott room was very nice and spacious. The view was fantastic of the bay and Coronado bridge. We were very happy with the location of this hotel and the amenities. It's not on a beach but it's easy enough to find one close by. The night skyline of downtown San Diego was beautiful and the breakfast ... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for one night in March while celebrating our wedding anniversary. We live in San Diego so I had high expectations when selecting a local hotel for a getaway. The Marriott is definitely not an economy hotel and we splurged on a reservation but I was very pleased with all aspects of our stay, especially considering our special occasion and the pricey room rate. We mentioned our anniversary when booking and it was clear that the front desk staff noted the occasion bec... Read more

Very nice resort with views across the bay to San Diego. We enjoyed a couples massage, as well as, the heated pool and hot tub. Evening drinks near the bar by a fire pit were very relaxing. The hotel is close to the ferry landing and the shops and restaurants nearby. The resort fee includes a lot of amenities that we did not have a chance to use like free bike rentals. Parking at $35/day is steep but there is free street parking nearby.

My husband and I are frequent guests at the Coronado Marriott. We love the recent renovations and hardly ever have a complaint about the hotel or its staff. On our most recent visit though, I inadvertently left behind an expensive pair of shoes (my favorite pair). I knew exactly where I left them and called about 36 hours after realizing my mistake, which also happened to be the first opportunity I had to unpack. After three phone calls, I finally managed to speak to a gentleman who took my ... Read more

I've always had a wonderful time in San Diego; and this hotel is one of the main reasons. The views are perfect, the hotel is stunning, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. San Diego is by far one of my favorite places to be, and watching the sun rise (or set) over the bay is worth it's weight in gold.

Very nice property on quieter side of Coronado. Staff was very friendly, especially at Restaraunt and Valet. Rooms are clean with nice balconies. Easy access to promenade where you can walk, run or bike. Great outside Restaraunt with reality nice views. 5 minute drive to heart of Coronado with many stores and restaurants.

We had a water polo tournament weekend in Coronado so stayed here. So glad we did. We were within walking distance to restaurants. The hotel was super beautiful - pool area was perfect. One downfall, we left our room at 7:30 a.m. on a Saturday and when we got back at 4:30 our room had not been serviced. Other than that, the place was perfect.

The room had obviously been updated recently, and was beautiful. We got a room with a view of the bridge, and loved it. The staff were all very friendly, and there were so many amenities that we had trouble using all of them! They offered free chairs and towels for the beach which was great, as well as use of bikes, boogie boards and much more. We hope to be back!

We chose the Marriott resort at Coronado Island because we have always enjoyed the beach near the Hotel Coronado, but have never wanted to pay that hotel's high price for a room. We used Booking.com to reserve a suite at the Marriott, as my wife and four kids need the space. When we arrived, we liked the look of the place. Very clean, well laid out, with very courteous staff. We wanted to plan something different for our 45 anniversary. Yes we got married young. We have always wanted to go to Coronado Island.
