We stayed at the Hilton for a quick weekend getaway while my daughter's soccer team played in the Concord Cup. Several of the families spent the weekend with us. The kids had a blast in the pool & hot tub. Hotel was clean; staff was friendly; restaurant was quick & convenient. Good visit overall.

I am a hotel professional that has been in the hotel industry for almost 30 years, primarily in hotel sales. We stayed overnight on a Saturday to attend a retirement party and dinner for my husband's work. When you make reservations for this hotel, the email confirmation will offer you a choice to upgrade your room, etc. for a fee. We upgraded our room to the executive floor for the additional fee which offered cocktails and hors d'oeuvres as well as breakfast next day. When we checked in, we we... Read more

First of all, this review is bittersweet. I surprised my wife with a birthday weekend to San Francisco (we live in Chicago) and the build up beforehand was absolutely excellent and far exceeded my expectations with Maria the Front Desk Manager. She not only helped me with many opportunities to visit in the Bay Area she had a wonderful surprise for my wife in our room as a birthday gift. Thank you very much, Maria. You are simply the best. I have some business in Concord which will take perhaps months to complete. The Hilton on Diamond was recommended to me because of its proximity to the job. It turned out to be much more than convenient. The beds were excellent. Two restaurants, wonderful wine cellar, two bars all contributed to my two (so far) excellent and satisfying stays. But what was the most gratifying was the staff. We received above and beyond service from the Valet, Registration, Restaurant and Management staff. They di... Read more

Although I might not have indulged in valet parking if a free parking lot was available.

I travel for business three weeks per month; Cedric truly exceeded what I have come to expect from hotel employees. One word to describe Cedric: Exemplary!

Horrible Staff. Very bad experience. From checkin process to check out, the night watch guy was extremely rude and disrespectful. Do not stay here if you want to have a good time as this guy will cut it short.

I used to stay at this hotel regularly from 1989 until 2002. This was the first time to come back, and my previous good experiences were again confirmed. The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard, and the hotel in general is to a high standard. There are a few negative points though: self parking for $18/night, no reduction for Diamond members? Too high for Concord, and this was also noted by other guests during our stay. The shuttle service to and from the BART station is a big plus, a... Read more

Attended a friend's daughters wedding. In all my travels it's the worst place for parties don't waste your money here. The options for dinner were steak or chicken. Somehow they ran out of steak and I felt the servers were strong arming everyone to eat chicken even if you were not a fan of chicken. Bad service bad customer service

We stayed here for a wedding, birthday and funeral all in one weekend. Location is great and close to everything including an REI store across the street. We were able to check in early and we were given an upgrade as requested, no questions asked.however, the free breakfast was very limited, but expected and better than other places.

Stayed often throughout 2012-16 and was always very consistent with its offerings. Excellent staff, well presented rooms, great lobby bar and ground floor restaurant. There are other eating options in the nearby vicinity. Can't go wrong with this hotel providing you can get in, rooms are difficult to get weekdays, hope you can plan ahead. Hilton Club on upper floor available.

Upon check in we were informed that there was an $18.00 self park fee (non-waivable for Diamond members), as this was a "full service" property. Being excited by the idea of "full service", we were able to overlook the obvious contradiction in that we'd just parked our own car for this price, despite the surrounding area being peppered with empty free parking lots. Expecting the sort of "full service" amenities that you get at most other Hiltons, I set my hopes on the free Concierge Breakfast of... Read more

We stayed at the Concord Hilton this past weekend for our son's wedding - 4 days, 3 nights - highly recommend the Executive floors and this hotel - great service from Oscar at the valet station and Kailey at the check-in and check-out desk! Beautiful hotel with all the important amenities, including Starbucks coffee, 2 bars, a great restaurant.....

This hotel is easy to get to, nicely appointed, great service from staff, great restaurant and bar, medium to good fitness center, and parking. However the parking is a little pricey for a way-out-of-city hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel for about 55 days while house hunting in the local area. It is very convenient for local restaurants, many of which are within walking distance. The Iron Horse Trail, a paved bicycle/jogging trail, runs right behind the hotel and enables easy access to other parts of Concord and Walnut Creek. The hotel allowed me to keep my bicycle in my room, but it's not easy carting it up & down the elevator. Sleep was occasionally interrupted by noisy slamming doors.

I have stayed at the Hilton on a number of occasions and have always received good service. The rooms are fairly standard, but always clean and well-maintained. The restaurant and bar offer a diverse menu which includes many locally-sourced items and ingredients. Great for entertaining or hosting business dinners and drinks.

Attended a function with a family member and spent the weekend at the Concord Hilton. First impression was very good. Oscar, one of the bell staff, I believe, suggested we just park our car in self-parking to save time at check in. Good advise. It is only 2 dollars cheaper than valet but much quicker. Check-in went fine, but... I am a Diamond member and checked in on line. I was offered an upgrade when I made my reservation. My husband and I chose this hotel as a cheaper option for visiting SF. The Bart station is a short drive from the hotel and free to park on weekends. There is a shopping center across the street and located close to many other stores for convenience. The hotel itself was clean, beds comfy, and basically everything you would expect from a Hilton. It is true that parking cost $18. Seems a bit steep but for us it was cheaper than parking in the city.

This was BY FAR the cleanest room I have ever been in. I stay at a lot of hotels in my line of work, and I always find issues with cleanest, especially in the bathrooms. But not here! No chemical smell, no mold in the shower, no broken anything. My sheets and bedding were also soft and didn't smell like bleach. My only issue is that the door hit the edge of the toilet, but that was okay.

I have stayed in this hotel over the years and watched the increases in price along with now paying $18.00 for parking. I don't feel they have added any improvements to justify the increases. As I was too tired to continue traveling my husband made my reservation at 11:00pm and didn't realize he was on a third party website. When I checked in I gave them my HiltonHonors number and was told I didn't qualify for any upgrades because he booked the room on Expedia. The bed was comfortable, room was ... Read more

I travel tons for my job and stay at Hiltons quite often. Usually, I have a great experience. Hiltons always seem to be clean, comfortable, and offer great amenities. My wife and I received four drink coupons upon check-in. I had not noticed that they expired the day of check-in. We saved two to use for Bloody Mary's the next morning. That's when we realized they had already expired! We went to the check-in desk to see if they would extend them to that day and was told no! This was my first visit. I was rather shocked at the cost of parking for a East Bay hotel -- $20 for valet and $18 for self park. Valet service was quick and friendly but still expensive for a suburban hotel. $6 for wifi. Morning coffee service was VERY slow--one person to handle coffee, seat for breakfast, and wait tables. Poor. Desk staff friendly and pleasant. This is the second Bay Area Hilton with ridiculously high suburban parking costs--definitely read the fine print or pick a different... Read more

I have stayed in Hilton properties throughout the world this year, and this would rank as one of the more frustrating. This is more of a suburban property located in Concord, CA, with several restaurants in vicinity and in walkable distance. As others have mentioned, the parking is pricey so do consider that when making your reservation. The train station is not too far away, but didn't have a great experience there coming back from San Francisco late on weekend night. Just be cautious. ... Read more

Hilton offers digital check-in at this hotel, and I took advantage of this service. Using the app, I checked-in for a 3:00 pm arrival. When I arrived at the hotel, the apps stated that I needed to check the front desk. Apparently the room was not available, and I waited in the lobby for more than an hour. As a HHonors Diamond member, you would think the staff would treat their high volume customers a little better.

One reason why I chose Hilton for my travel is fitness center. Most of the cities I visited have Hilton and those fitness center provided 24hr access cozy facilities. I like to work out almost every morning and cardio machine such as treadmill and weights at least dumbbell are necessary. I enjoyed this hotel with nice fitness center located next to entrance on 1st fl. This hotel is not luxurious but provides minimum requirements such as gym and executive lounge for me.

Good location but small rooms(typical for California). It would have been nice if they upgrade their fitness room and maybe add decent TV remote in the room with guide and more channels (Had to wake up and goto lobby to watch a game because that channel was unavailable in the room). Otherwise good service.
