The refridgerator was broken, the internet in the room would go out, the TV wouldn't not work, the stove in the room was broken, no utensils or cookware in the kitchen, the bed was hard, after speaking with the hotel staff several time to get the to get the problems fixed they came in the day before departure to fix the TV. The staff at the front desk was rude and didn't not know how to speak with their customer politely. Micromanage 's everything, when you go and complain, they threaten to kick... Read more

Horrible. The AC didn't work and the bathroom was disgusting. I had to wipe everything down before using it myself. We could hear a drug deal going down outside our room luckily we were only staying one night but couldn't get out fast enough.

Overall very nice for the money. Rooms are older with old kitchen cabinets and appliances. However for 60 a night, it is so much better than any other option. Front desk was helpful and polite. Really my only two complaints are no hot tub, and the maintenance guy (We nick named him DJ). First i want to say we were very happy with our stay, but this is an obvious problem that i cannot believe is even happening. The maintenance guy walks around the hotel doing his job and he will pass by your room... Read more

it was in a great location. buses stopped in front of hotel and the trolley light rail was a block away. the trolley light rail you can take almost anywhere in San Diego. my girlfriend an I even caught the trolley light rail into Tijuana which was a new experience for us. the same trolley light rail is the blue line, it even took us to and from the Amtrak station which was convinate for us instead of catching an expencise cab lol.

Thanks to other reviewers, I knew what to expect when staying at this hotel, and was prepared. The good: The employees were friendly (save one), and the woman working the front desk works really hard at her job. The price (with AAA discount) was reasonable. There were no bugs in the rooms. The not-so-good: This is a questionable location, sharing a parking lot with a car wash, liquor store and bar, among other things. I (a woman), was there with my teenage children, and did not feel safe ... Read more

Loud and you have to go across a busy street. 2 wings on oposite side of street. Like the gated parking. Bring cooking things if you are going to cook. They have nothing. Bring extra towels and soap the head cleaning lady is kinda mean. Anna is the she is on the second floor across the main lobby building. Building has no pool. A rock filled pool

Checked in at 10pm and checked out at 9am. Did not feel comfortable in room due to the small cockroaches, and spiders I found. I was only there for 1 night so we tried our best to sleep and get some rest but we were unsuccessful. AC was also very noisy. Stay only if needed. There's 2 buildings and we stayed at one across from office on other side of street on 1st floor.

I was expecting better since I'm a Wyndham Rewards member. But this place was lower quality than the Microtel in OKC, or any other Wyndham property I've stayed in. First thing wrong. One AC to cool the whole unit with has a Kitchen, Living Room, and separate sleeping area. Noise level is horrible for you people that have to work a night shift like me. Having been to Comic Con for 7 years straight, this place is the most bang for your buck. Ive stayed at the Hilton, Marriot and most hotels at the gaslamp and this joint was probably one of the most cost effective hotels i've been at. By no means is it glamorous, the bathroom is a little small, the kitchen isn't anything fancy and the location isnt scenic but if you're there for SDCC all you really need is a place to store your purchased goods, rinse off and sleep and this place hits the nail ... It was a long journey to begin with, driving over 1000 miles to see my new grandbabies (twins) with great grandma too. The desk staff were nice, but the neighborhood was scary. The area where the hotel is located is fine, close to the freeway and restaurants but the hotel itself is located in a place where you feel unsafe. The front parking is almost in the street, totally open. The back parking supposed gated has the gate always open and it is in the trash area. Picture of the outside of the building was a little deceiving...it's not a parking lot, it's an alley. The most troubling thing about this place is the list of rules you are required to sign at check-in and the security gates and cameras all over the property. None of the other motels in the area have such an extreme level of security. Makes it feel more like a detention facility than a hotel. People jam things in the lock so the gate stays open, and I also saw people waiting outside the gate for someone to exit so they could slip in unnoticed, or guests just pass their key through the gate to le...
