"We have just got back from a week over thanks giving at La Costa Resort and Spa in San Diego. Wow what a holiday! Heated outdoor pools and jacuzzi's were a plenty, loads for the kids to do at the waterplay area and 2 further kids pools, one with sand, the other with slides/shoots, as well as a Kids club to take them off your hands for four hours while you relax at the adults only pool with infinity jacuzzi's overlooking the golf course.

We had a La Costa room with two queen size beds in it for our family of four, and it was very spacious. Whilst it was located the furthest away from the central 'square', it only took 5 minutes to walk to the centre and the kids loved the ride on their scooters!

Other facilities we took advantage of were the very well setup gym and the luxury spa.

We had days out to Legoland, San Diego Zoo, Coronado and the SeaLife Centre, and we had thanksgiving on the resort. The Thanksgiving meal would be the only thing I would make changes to - it was quite expensive for the offering, and we were squeezed onto a table that would have usually fitted 2 people. I had expected more 'community' with families being brought together to try to recreate the environment they were missing. Otherwise, it was very enjoyable.

We certainly hope to return one day!"

"We loved the La Costa Resort. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. We found the food onsite to have quite a mark-up, so we ate offsite most of the time. What we did eat at the resort was very good. The pools were well maintained, and the rooms were clean and well laid out."

"We went for my daughters 2nd birthday and had an amazing time. The kid pool is 3ft deep, 80 degrees and my daughter and son where in there the whole day. We also loved that there was a lifeguard on duty. The only thing that was a bummer was the kiddie slide was under construction but I am unsure if my kids would of gone on it anyways. We also loved the game room, even though my kids are to little for it, they had a blast. The rooms were plenty big for the three of us and we will definitely be back. Thanks La Costa!"

"Loved this resort. We spent Labor Day here and thought it might be a little crazy, but it was extremely relaxing. The slides were so much fun for the kids while the adults sat by the pool and really relaxed. Everything was great. The room was very clean and everything was brand new. We will definitely come back!"
