We stayed in the hotel portion of the property for 2 nights and thought the furnishings were a little worn. Then we moved to the time share unit and thought it was much nicer. It was equipped with everything we needed. There is a variety of grocery stores within a short distance. If you are only adults, request a unit away from the kiddy pool - it was busy and noisy!

Just stayed here yesterday, very close to Legoland, literally less 10 minutes walk. The resort was very clean. The room was pleasantly great. Had a sink, some plates and cups and bowls. Adult swimming pool and a kids pool which was great for my 12 year old boy and I to swim and play. Will definitely stay here again.

Was very impressed by the warmth, friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. Good first impressions matter and we appreciated their sincere smiles, attentiveness and congeniality when we arrived and throughout our one-week stay. A+ Our one bedroom suite was very spacious. We had a view of the distant ocean and could see the sunsets from our balcony. We enjoyed the convenience of using the kitchen to cook meals in our unit. Towels were replaced and garbage emptied by housekeeping... Read more

Our recent stay at the Pacific Palisades was wonderful! As a busy family, it is difficult to coordinate everyone's schedule, so finding a place to keep everyone happy and together is priority one! This resort is ideally-located near the beach and great places to visit and dine, it is well-maintained, and the setting is beautiful for strolling and reconnecting with loved ones. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The full kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you need to get fueled up for surfing, wake boarding, go karts, hiking, tide pooling. Also we just hang out in the room and watch movies and play games just like our family room at home. Play ping pong, air hockey, swim in the pool...there's a lot to do and we just kind of do whatever we want whenever we want. Definitely a relax and recreation resort. Also the staff is awesome! I own a timeshare at the Grand Pacific Palisades and go there on a weekly basis. Oliva, Jeanette, and Joanna work at the Front Desk and are always cheerful and welcoming! Sometimes, I come early enough and see Robin the friendly Night Auditor. Even at the end of his shift he always has a smile on his face! Every now and then I see Tony, the Maintenance Supervisor, around the pool and he's always very friendly. I always enjoy my time there!

The Grand Palisades Resort is Awesome!!!!! The staff is friendly and helpful, the entire resort is clean and well maintained, and housekeeping takes care of everything. Even though the weather wasn't the best at the start of our stay we still enjoyed the pools since they are heated. The location was also perfect. The resort offers a free shuttle so our teenagers were able to go on their own to the beach and other places within in 5 miles of the resort. Can't wait to return to this resort -... Read more

We booked this hotel because of its close proximity to Legoland. It is right across the street from the pedestrian entrance so only about a 10 minute walk to the gate. We booked a 1 bedroom suite that had a small kitchen which was perfect since we like to have breakfast in our room in the morning and we had a toaster and a full fridge to keep our milk in. The pool, kids splash area and playground were lots of fun! The only downfall was they were working on the sidewalks while we were there and t... Read more

This hotel was awesome. Five minutes from Lego land! The grounds where very clean. They have full kitchens and bbq grilles for you to use any time. They even deep clean the grills every morning. The lawn is tightly groomed, and the complementary shuttle is awesome, they even dropped me off and picked me up from the grocery store. I highly recommend the Palisades! Oh' and they have great internet!

Our travel package included breakfast at the hotel at the onsite Karl Strauss restaurant. The All you can eat breakfast was excellent every day. Where to begin.... Let's see, I stayed as a result of a solicitation by Hilton Grand Vacations Club for a 4 day, 3 night stay. I purchased the vacation over a year prior to confirming my vacation plans and did so exactly (according to the reservationist) the actual day that reservations were being accepted for June 2016. With that being said, I was told that we could enjoy our requested ocean view and also a higher floor room. The reservationist had also inquired about the ages of my party be... Read more

We planned a 2nd stay at Grand Pacific Palisades Resort and Hotel to celebrate the 4th of July. We were greeted by Sean Herriott, Front Office Manager. We have owned 2 timeshares here since 2003. Each May we organize a reunion using our villa as a base for visiting, swimming, bbqing, etc. Always pleased with how Grand Pacific Palisades meets our needs and remains a 5 star resort through the years. This last stay we experienced a slow drain in the master shower. The plumbing team arrived within 15minutes, introduced themselves and corrected the problem. They left their contact info if anything else needed attention. We were impressed!

This hotel is great and kids friendly. We stayed for 4days 3 nights. We got a room right next to the kids pool area and it was great for my twin 2 yrs old boys. I am sure if you are staying in the time share part of this it is really nice, but for the hotel part it is just a hotel. Do not spend the amount of money you will be charged for a hotel room. Our rooms were not cleaned a couple of nights of the stay. The space is small. I did ask about upgrades. The people working here are very friendly but that doesn't change the situation. We went to visit our son and his family and ended up staying here. We had very friendly service at the front desk. Very accommodating. We stayed in a two bedroom villa and it was wonderful. The view of the ocean and the landscaping was beautiful. They had plenty of activities for the kids and family. In the evening we did smores around the fire pit. Lauren did a great job of having everything ready. If your looking for a nice vacation Carlsbad is a beautiful spot.
