Spent 2 nights at this location for a business trip. On a positive note, the rooms are larger and more comfortable than the average hotel. Front desk staff are average, however, housekeeping does a good job cleaning room each day. On a negative note, the hotel is close to the 101 freeway, so you will hear some traffic. Further, every time a fire truck is summoned for the area, it will pass by the hotel. Be prepared to hear sirens at all hours of the night. Last but not least... this hotel... Read more

When I think of this Hampton Inn. I think of how clean the room was and how helpful the staff was. I also recall the short staffing, the cookies not being available like other Hampton's. I was told by someone there (I believe a fellow traveler) that they limit the cookies each day and not on the week-end. Seemed rather cheap compared to other Hampton's. We have very fond memories of our stay in Florida (St. Augustine Beach) and Rochester Michigan where they really treated us like we were im... Read more

Cookies in the afternoon, indoor pool and hot tub, Good breakfast are assets. For a multi-night stay the only criticism we have is the lack of variety for breakfast main courses. Several meats and at least two egg selections would be better. Otherwise, a GREAT place to stay in the SLO area!

Family stay for weekend and wedding event on the area. This hotel was conveniently located off the freeway and close to strip mall. Staff were very nice and professional. Check in was efficient but had to wait for rooms to be ready. The complementary breakfast and 24 hour beverage bar in the lobby was a definite plus. Rooms were clean and we had a good nights rest. Complementary Internet was slow. Overall we had a great stay and would probably stay again.

This is a newer hotel, faithfully delivering all of the comforts expected of today's mid-range chains. It is readily accessible from Highway 200A and a very short drive from a host of suburban big box stores, such as Costco, Target, and Home Depot. Breakfast was ample, but about 1/2 the seats surrounded a large, high table which was kind of funky, yet family-like. The wi-fi was excellent and the air conditioning perfect. All in all, I wish we could have stayed more than one night; it was a v... Read more

The first impression we got of this hotel was the ample parking which is always a plus and the look and feel of this hotel. On checking in we were welcomed by Friendly staff and asked if we were light sleepers and given a room accordingly . Main front desk lady Debe asked us about our stay and helped us with places to eat and things to do. Room was very clean with comfy bed. Breakfast was good and served in a nice setting. We came to this Hampton as it was on our Hilton Honors list. We were able to do electronic check in where I chose my room ahead of time and all we had to do was tell them our name when we checked in. The keys were waiting and we were met by a friendly service person. Everyone there went out of their way to take care of our needs. This is a typical Hampton Inn. The place was well located right off US 101, but without the noise penetrating the room. The room was clean and spacious. Amenities (soap etc.) are minimal, but sufficient for a night for two people. The included breakfast is not my taste - lots of sugar and fat frankly. But many guests were eating when I went down to find out what was on offer. I thought the price was ridiculous for a Hampton Inn ($270) but I had booked late and nothing much was available wi... We originally booked at a hotel at Pismo Beach but family friends (7 families) decided to join us for the holiday so we moved up north. The hotel provided good breakfast but the parking was full due to the long weekend. The staff was kind enough in agreeing to have my male friends could use the breakfast area at night to hang out. We end up at their hotel instead.

Expected clean; not sure it was. Desk staff and kitchen staff were positive and service was a priority to them. Room not so great; carpet vacuumed? Question the standard of cleanliness. Mattresses were very uncomfortable. In an accessible room - like we had the worse mattresses; too high to be able to get out of wheel chair with ease. Bathroom door would not stay open which made it difficult to get in and out of bathroom. Television was very small. Not a great experience

Other than this Hampton Inn being a much higher price than I'm used to paying at Hamptons, it was a nice stay. We like the Hampton inn experience as we typically take long trips that alternate camping and hotels. Laundry, pool, self serve breakfast, clean showers and rooms, safe environments and respectful staff. We did have to ask for a few things but they were provided promptly. Our room was quiet and we slept well.
