I stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be very comfortable and clean with everything provided in the room including iron and ironing board, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was provided and tea/coffee was available all day.

Reasonable rates for a clean and comfortable room close to SFO. We have always been greeted and checked out by a friendly and efficient staff. Also convenient are the two restaurant choices right next door to the hotel. The shuttle to and from the airport is reliable and the driver usually friendly and helpful. I would rate this a three and a half but it was not a choice. Their sister hotel in Sacramento had a major upgrade, and it's probably time for some updating here in Burlingame. Nice choic... The front desk staff were very cordial and helpful. The manager accommodated our requests fairly and professionally. Facilities are under remodel which is desperately needed. Housekeepers need to take ownership in their work but it is hard when the place is so run down. Even replacement furniture is used. How unmotivating is that for staff and guests alike?

We spent the night here to avoid the horrible traffic in the morning, trying to make it to SFO for a flight. The Vagabond was the only place I could find under $200 that was airport adjacent and would allow me to park, sleep, fly. The room is fine. The bed is very good. Everything seems clean and updated. I loved watching the planes land and takeoff from our private balcony. The only thing I don't like about our room is the smell! There must be some kind of odorizer in the ventilation system, be... This hotel has an excellent location, very close to the SFO airport, and provides free shuttle service. If is so close to the airport that you can watch the planes taking off and landing on the runway across the bay from the hotel, but it is still very quiet and undisturbed by the airplanes. The price is quite reasonable when compared to other local hotels, the staff members are pleasant, friendly, and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast is very good, This ... We stayed at the Vagabond Inn on our last trip to San Francisco as it is close to the airport. We spent extra money on a water view king, and although the views are great, the room was very dated and musty smelling. The dresser drawers were so old none of them stayed shut and the fan in the bath was broken and you could not shut it off. The girl at the front desk was alone and overworked with too many guests. The only elevator was out of order, and we had to carry luggage up three flights o... Read more

we always stay here when we have to fly from SF. Its a 5 hr drive to SFO, so always involves spending a night. Park and Fly option is great. Clean, good breakfast, with several restaurants within walking distance. Shuttle runs frequently..

The AC never works in the multiple times I've stayed here, but the rooms are clean and I like the Park N' Fly aspect. The price is usually good, too. The shuttles run on time. The breakfast area is small and very bread-oriented, but there are hot options.

The hotel wasn't very sound-proofed, and our room was next to exterior stairs, and at night we heard people clunking up the stairs with their suitcases banging on the stairway. Though it was run down, it was clean. The bed was comfy. The wifi seemed ok. They really need a nightlight for the bathroom. with the shades drawn, it was pitch dark in there and you can't find your way to the bathroom at night. But the breakfast was very decent. Eggs, oatmeal, and my favorite, Waffles! Watermelon ... Read more

Vagabond Inn SFO Airport is among the Bigger Hotels in the Bay Area . The Inn itself is Clean and Tidy which has FREE PARKING and FREE WIFI . I was allocated room 323 which has a fantastic view of the Bay Area and also has great views of the Aircraft Landing and Taking off . So great location for Plane Spotters . This room was a Twin room with Queen Sized beds . The Room itself was tidy but could do with a makeover and the Carpets could do with a clean . All along the room was nice big fridge an... Read more

The online pictures show renovated rooms. The room I stayed in smelled horribly and had not been updated in many years. Although it appeared to be cleaned well, there is only so much you can do with an old overused room.

If being able to control your rooms temperature is important to you do not stay here. Its 60 degrees outside and my room is 75-80 even though temp is turned to cool. Front desk can do nothing to fix!?!?!? They have some sort of seasonal system here and even though it's mid June there is no AC available yet!? When you open your window to cool down you get the fresh smell of drug users, city noise, and airplanes flying over. After your restless night should you dare the free breakfast, it's actual... We stayed for five days in June of 2016. The room is very outdated and in need of a renovation. The staffs here is polite and approachable. They were very eager to help. The central air system only has one system. Either heat or air conditioning. Breakfast was fare and bareble. I wouldn't expect a three/four stars establishment. For us, it fits our budget and we did not stay here during the day. It's just a place to sleep and shower. We were disappointed that our request to be away from e... Read more

Updated decor, quiet and clean room close to parking and freeway. Comfortable mattresses. Breakfast room easy to use, coffee and fresh fruit always available! Helpful staff. Nearby restaurants are plentiful. I recommend the restaurant, El Terito.

Breakfast was the best thing. The Inn may need more parking spaces. There was something biting me from the carpet, based on that I slept on top of the spread not in it. Inn very quiet and front desk very helpful.

Heat is on a central system. It decides if the AC or heat will be on. When we were there , it was very cold , but the central system did not turn on the heat and the staff has no control. Very uncomfortable beds. Construction on the building going on outside our door till 7pm. Noisy.

My wife and I frequently will get away to the Vagabond in Burlingame, great service and very economic. Their location is perfect for excursions into the City. Additionally we enjoy the walk along the bay.

We have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was to connect with a midday airline departure to Asia for which we had come to San Francisco the day before. For our second stay, we drove down from Reno to go to the SG50 celebration being thrown by the Singaporean Consulate at another nearby airport hotel. This hotel costs about half as much as other nearby SFO Airport hotels, and thus deserves serious consideration should you require a hotel near the airport. Though somewhat dated, this hot... If you try to catch the early flight at SFO, this is the perfect place to stay. It is only one exit away from the airport. For those who try to drop off a friend or family member, you can come back to take a nap after drop off and have a breakfast before you check out at 11:00am. Convenient and Economical!

Room smelled like smoke and hairs in the bathroom, people( staying there) were outside drinking beer at night by parking & very noisy. The front desk could have been nicer and I got a room I didn't ask for

I love being next to the Bay Trail. The Vagabond has a nice free breakfast and also offers a limo size shuttle to SFO. The room was nice and clean and quiet. It's a good value for those you don't need 'bling'.

The receptionist was very friendly and useful. The facility was conveniently close to the airport. However, the room was not very clean. It was supposed to be a non making room but I can still smell the cigarette smoke in the room.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Wonderful breakfast. My only recommendation would be more seating. It got a bit crowded. Recommend that you book online as the price was better than reserving directly.
