Great rooms that are clean and welcoming. Nice staff. Had a great experience here as this was our first time to stay at this hotel for a business meeting we had to attend. Highly recommend this hotel although its not located in the heart of San Francisco. Close to the airport.

The staff has been incredible friendly and helpful. The hotel made up for still being under construction by offering a discount on our room which was much appreciated. One thing I did not like was having a notice in the room about water conservation and not washing towels everyday. They are not following their own policy as we have gotten fresh towels everyday.

Typical Hyatt Amenities. Good value and choice for San Francisco if you do not have to stay in the city. Newly renovated. Friendly staff. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Alos newly renovated meeting rooms and I have used their meeting facilities in the past. the staff is very helpful and make sure every detail is attended to your satisfaction.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting the city of San Francisco. The hotel is near the airport but about 20 minutes from the city. The biggest downfall is the parking fee of $25 per night. Why wouldn't the parking be included in the room rate? Just seems very high. The sports bar was decent but overpriced. A burger and fries runs $16. The room was clean and recently renovated. Overall I had a good stay but found the parking fee to be high, and the construction a bit annoying.

Watch out when you book the Hyatt Regency. I thought I had paid for my stay four months prior to my arrival. Imagine my shock when I arrived at 2am to discover this was not the case. The hotel refused to allow me the time necessary to check my records and verify whether I had paid or not, without me paying for at least one night's stay. Then when I checked out, I was denied a chance to review my bill before my credit card was charged. The amount I'd already paid counted for nothing. They pro... Read more

Pros: Excellent bathroom, recently updated. Loved the two option shower. Sufficient charging outlets. Comfortable beds. Appreciated the mini-fridge and excellent coffee. (We do, however, prefer a coffee maker that makes more than one cup.). Apples provided in the lobby, which we appreciated since we were burnt out from traveling for two weeks when we arrived late at night and needed a pick me up. Work desk was large and useful. Location is very, very close to the airport. Shuttle co... Read more

Itā??s taken awhile, but it looks like the renovations here are entering the final stages. All in all itā??s been a nice update to the hotel and brings it more in line with the Regency tier. The rooms look refreshed, with cleaner/more modern looking bathrooms (walk-in enclosed showers), blackout shades and settees, along with a gigantic TVā??the biggest ones Iā??ve seen in any non-suite rooms to date. The public spaces look pretty much done (I think the only in house F&B was scheduled to open... Read more

By now the renovations that I encountered during my stay should be completed and the hotel should really shine if what I saw was any indication. I have been coming here since 1992 and the hotel was due for an upgrade and the completed areas were great, especially the rooms which are now on par with some of the better higher end hotels in the city. The location is great for those that want an alternative to hotels in downtown SF and the free airport shuttle is a big plus. If you are not rentin... Read more

Yep, that's about it. It's convenient to the airport. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and they have some work to do. I was in one of the renovated rooms and there were a few issues. -In my room the only desk outlet was on the map. No problem as I carry a traveling power strip. Wrong, there was a problem. The lamp was on a switched outlet. In order to charge mobile devices overnight it was necessary to leave the entry light on. We checked with others attending our conference... Read more

Very disappointed in this Hyatt. We have stayed many times before travel and over time the hotel has really changed and not for the better. For a long time there was no real restaurant but now the new 360 restaurant is open. It is quite expensve and has a limited menu. But now there is no room service! One staff person told us that was the trend in hotels now and it frees up staff so fewer people need to be hired. The bellman said this is a Corporate wide Hyatt change and I sure hope not! ... I've stayed here before and really enjoyed it, but this visit the staff seemed to lack the knowledge of how to operate effectively. I had a very noisy, freeway facing room and the service at the restaurant was really slow - I wouldn't bother eating here unless you have endless patience. In the past, this was a great hotel, but it seems to have gone downhill a bit.

If being able to order food to your room is important to you, don't go. You have to go downstairs, order from the restaurant and wait for it to be prepared or have it sent to your room. Either way, you will get it in a box like fast food. Eggs in a box. Be serious.Obviously, there is no 24 hour availability. Beautiful renovation that is ruined by this ridiculousness. This is not a cheap hotel. And it is no longer deserves a four star rating. Paid $367 a night.

The Hyatt Regency SFO has just about finished their remodel and it is terrific. The rooms are modern and well equipped. Great new stall showers and amenities. The only issue I had was the shuttle to the airport. Early AM their are allot of people going to the airport and I had to wait for 2 shuttle vans as the first 2 were full, Maybe the hotel should try and run 2 dedicated vans each time in the AM instead of sharing a van with the Marriott hotel.

The lack-luster of the buildings interior carried over to some little things I expect staying at other hotels. No robes, slippers, little to no amenities, i.e. Toothbrushes, vanity items, bottled water, etc. There was bottled water for sale at $4.00/ pt, only things it had, was 1 shampoo and conditioner in the shower, with a bar of soap. Beautiful and super clean hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful! The shuttle runs from the airport about every ten minutes so it's very convenient. There's a nice restaurant inside the hotel that serves food up until midnight and it's not located far from downtown San Francisco.

Hyatt have always done a great job, in my opinion, offering quality amenities no matter what the location. The big gripe people are going to have who stayed there over the past 6 months was the construction - yeah, it was pretty heavy duty at times in the lobby and foyer areas, but how much time do you need to spend in the lobby anyway - and - it needs to be done, so no matter when or how, you're going to upset someone... and I know from experience, it's really hard to break up concrete quietly.... This is the hotel I always stay when passing through SFO. Everyone is nice and the newly re-modeled accommodations and gym facilities made it better. The new restaurant/bar area is really nice and you can eat there while watching sports. Dining room Staff especially those at breakfast were an absolute delight. They were highly attentive, courteous and helpful. This hotel is far enough away from the airport to hear any ambient noise when outside, but close enough when you have either just got off a long flight or waiting to go home. We booked a double room with two queen beds. It also had a separate dressing area leading into the bathroom, which again was spacious, a separate desk area and cabinet. Tea and coffee facilities are also provided, which include Starbucks pods- a great added bonus. Check in was easy, the car park for self parking is 25 dolla... Read more

My company will place us in this hotel for business trips, so nothing much that can be done about it, but I wish the place was a bit less of a huge monstrosity and definitely a lot less of conference galore. You may get lucky and find no conferences (good luck with that!), in which case the hotel will not be half as noisy but will still be a huge monstrosity with only one 'bar and food' area and only ONE menu to serve all publics. Pros: Free 8 minute shuttle to & from SFO. Free WiFi which is an easy connection and fast. Friendly staff. Efficient temperature control. Large flat screen TV on a swivel. Cons: Restaurant is very casual with limited selections on their menu. Gold Passport points are not credited unless you book directly with Hyatt resulting in no incentive to choose this hotel as other airport hotels such as Marriott, Hilton, and Crowne are more competitive.

The hotel is close to the airport, but about 20/25 minutes to downtown San Francisco. The hotel room is of typical size. You have to pay for an upgrade if you want a view of the bay. If not, you'll be looking at the freeway. We had an issue with the blinds in the room. Which took a while and two different calls to have someone come up to fix. Parking is an extra $25 I believe. Which is typically the going rate in the area. The staff was very nice and helpful if you had any questions.

We decided to book this because we came in so late from flying across the country and just needed a place to sleep before we headed into San Francisco the next day and it was a great decision. The only downside in the room were the pillows were very soft and they don't provide milks in UHT form (only in powdered sachet form). The food in the restaurant is great quality however they need to invest in a little more training for their wait staff with attention to details and customer needs often overlooked. Came in on a late flight and stayed here for one night. We were hoping to be able to rent a car from the Hertz desk at the hotel but it was closed the day we were there. The efficient (but shared) shuttle that got us to the hotel the night before also took us back to the airport so we could get a car there. Hotel very large and was very busy the night we were there. Some noise in the room from the highway outside but a good choice for a short stay by the airport.

The wife and I stay here around easter every year, and the hotel has this wonderful charm; It has a huge open-yet-enclosed area in the middle, and the rooms are arranged in a square about the opening. The renovation is complete they say. But the carpet looks like old jeans, worn and stained. Cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. Bad food, at high prices, with limited selection, poorly served. Especially now that they have eliminated the second restaurant. No way can I recommend. Not as good as motel6.

Poorly redesigned rooms that are a nightmare if you need to do anything than sleep overnight waiting for a flight. Do not recommend for anyone staying multiple nights.
