Great rooms that are clean and welcoming. Nice staff. Had a great experience here as this was our first time to stay at this hotel for a business meeting we had to attend. Highly recommend this hotel although its not located in the heart of San Francisco. Close to the airport.

The staff has been incredible friendly and helpful. The hotel made up for still being under construction by offering a discount on our room which was much appreciated. One thing I did not like was having a notice in the room about water conservation and not washing towels everyday. They are not following their own policy as we have gotten fresh towels everyday.

Typical Hyatt Amenities. Good value and choice for San Francisco if you do not have to stay in the city. Newly renovated. Friendly staff. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Alos newly renovated meeting rooms and I have used their meeting facilities in the past. the staff is very helpful and make sure every detail is attended to your satisfaction.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting the city of San Francisco. The hotel is near the airport but about 20 minutes from the city. The biggest downfall is the parking fee of $25 per night. Why wouldn't the parking be included in the room rate? Just seems very high. The sports bar was decent but overpriced. A burger and fries runs $16. The room was clean and recently renovated. Overall I had a good stay but found the parking fee to be high, and the construction a bit annoying.

Watch out when you book the Hyatt Regency. I thought I had paid for my stay four months prior to my arrival. Imagine my shock when I arrived at 2am to discover this was not the case. The hotel refused to allow me the time necessary to check my records and verify whether I had paid or not, without me paying for at least one night's stay. Then when I checked out, I was denied a chance to review my bill before my credit card was charged. The amount I'd already paid counted for nothing. They pro... Read more

Pros: Excellent bathroom, recently updated. Loved the two option shower. Sufficient charging outlets. Comfortable beds. Appreciated the mini-fridge and excellent coffee. (We do, however, prefer a coffee maker that makes more than one cup.). Apples provided in the lobby, which we appreciated since we were burnt out from traveling for two weeks when we arrived late at night and needed a pick me up. Work desk was large and useful. Location is very, very close to the airport. Shuttle co... Read more

Itā??s taken awhile, but it looks like the renovations here are entering the final stages. All in all itā??s been a nice update to the hotel and brings it more in line with the Regency tier. The rooms look refreshed, with cleaner/more modern looking bathrooms (walk-in enclosed showers), blackout shades and settees, along with a gigantic TVā??the biggest ones Iā??ve seen in any non-suite rooms to date. The public spaces look pretty much done (I think the only in house F&B was scheduled to open... Read more

By now the renovations that I encountered during my stay should be completed and the hotel should really shine if what I saw was any indication. I have been coming here since 1992 and the hotel was due for an upgrade and the completed areas were great, especially the rooms which are now on par with some of the better higher end hotels in the city. The location is great for those that want an alternative to hotels in downtown SF and the free airport shuttle is a big plus. If you are not rentin... Read more

Stay there about once a year for business. Hotel is just finishing up remodeling and its nice. Room was quite nice. Only problem is that if you are a light sleeper, the 101 Freeway is right next to hotel. You can ask for an inside room.

Yep, that's about it. It's convenient to the airport. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and they have some work to do. I was in one of the renovated rooms and there were a few issues. -In my room the only desk outlet was on the map. No problem as I carry a traveling power strip. Wrong, there was a problem. The lamp was on a switched outlet. In order to charge mobile devices overnight it was necessary to leave the entry light on. We checked with others attending our conference... Read more

Very disappointed in this Hyatt. We have stayed many times before travel and over time the hotel has really changed and not for the better. For a long time there was no real restaurant but now the new 360 restaurant is open. It is quite expensve and has a limited menu. But now there is no room service! One staff person told us that was the trend in hotels now and it frees up staff so fewer people need to be hired. The bellman said this is a Corporate wide Hyatt change and I sure hope not! ... I've stayed here before and really enjoyed it, but this visit the staff seemed to lack the knowledge of how to operate effectively. I had a very noisy, freeway facing room and the service at the restaurant was really slow - I wouldn't bother eating here unless you have endless patience. In the past, this was a great hotel, but it seems to have gone downhill a bit.

If being able to order food to your room is important to you, don't go. You have to go downstairs, order from the restaurant and wait for it to be prepared or have it sent to your room. Either way, you will get it in a box like fast food. Eggs in a box. Be serious.Obviously, there is no 24 hour availability. Beautiful renovation that is ruined by this ridiculousness. This is not a cheap hotel. And it is no longer deserves a four star rating. Paid $367 a night.

The Hyatt Regency SFO has just about finished their remodel and it is terrific. The rooms are modern and well equipped. Great new stall showers and amenities. The only issue I had was the shuttle to the airport. Early AM their are allot of people going to the airport and I had to wait for 2 shuttle vans as the first 2 were full, Maybe the hotel should try and run 2 dedicated vans each time in the AM instead of sharing a van with the Marriott hotel.

No robes, slippers, little to no amenities, i.e. Toothbrushes, vanity items, bottled water, etc. There was bottled water for sale at $4.00/ pt, only things it had, was 1 shampoo and conditioner in the shower, with a bar of soap. Hyatt have always done a great job, in my opinion, offering quality amenities no matter what the location. The big gripe people are going to have who stayed there over the past 6 months was the construction - yeah, it was pretty heavy duty at times in the lobby and foyer areas, but how much time do you need to spend in the lobby anyway - and - it needs to be done, so no matter when or how, you're going to upset someone... and I know from experience, it's really hard to break up concrete quietly.... Our room faced the freeway but it was very quite being on a high floor. At the time, the Regency Club lounge was still being renovated in the 9th floor. This is the hotel I always stay when passing through SFO. Everyone is nice and the newly re-modeled accommodations and gym facilities made it better. The new restaurant/bar area is really nice and you can eat there while watching sports. Dining room Staff especially those at breakfast were an absolute delight. They were highly attentive, courteous and helpful. I booked a room with a bathtub, but they checked me into a room with no bathtub! And they didn't inform me about their "green initiative" which means that housekeeping will not change your sheets (or vacuum either). I can understand re-using towels but PLEASE clean my room.

I was very pleased with the new renovations and improved attitude of this hotels staff. While I was a bit disappointed that the sports bar in the Atrium was no more , the newly renovated restaurant and bar 360 was quite nice and food was excellent.

We stayed here for 1 night due to an early flight in the morning. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and modern- exactly what we needed. There is a free shuttle to the airport which is a massive help as we got to drop the car off the night before to save time. We left our stroller in the room by mistake and realisd only once we arrived at the airport. The staff picked it up for us & put it on the next shuttle to the airport so we got it in time for our flight- we really appreciate... Read more

Pros: Free 8 minute shuttle to & from SFO. Free WiFi which is an easy connection and fast. Friendly staff. Efficient temperature control. Large flat screen TV on a swivel. Cons: Restaurant is very casual with limited selections on their menu. Gold Passport points are not credited unless you book directly with Hyatt resulting in no incentive to choose this hotel as other airport hotels such as Marriott, Hilton, and Crowne are more competitive.

The hotel is close to the airport, but about 20/25 minutes to downtown San Francisco. The hotel room is of typical size. You have to pay for an upgrade if you want a view of the bay. If not, you'll be looking at the freeway. We had an issue with the blinds in the room. Which took a while and two different calls to have someone come up to fix. Parking is an extra $25 I believe. Which is typically the going rate in the area. The staff was very nice and helpful if you had any questions.

I stayed in a room facing the atrium on the opposite side of the hotel from the elevators. It had one queen-sized bed, a desk and a couch (not a pull-out). BATHROOM: When I walked in I was pleased to see how clean everything was, especially the bathroom. The first thing I alway check in a hotel room is the cleanliness of the tub, toilet, and sink. They were immaculate. The bathroom had a blowdryer, as well as a wall-mounted magnifying mirror. There were plenty of fluffy towels, a bath mat ... Read more

Was in town for an educators meeting, and stayed 5 nights. Arrived very early at SFO, and shuttle to hotel was prompt and comfortable. Room was not available at that time of the morning, so I checked my bag, and hung around the hotel for a little while. The lobby was very nice, with the dining/bar/lounge area upstairs from the lobby area, and conference area down stairs from the lobby area. The Hyatt Regency is a very nice hotel near the San Francisco airport. The room was immaculate. The staff very friendly and helpful. But the restaruant and bar are very expensive. The breakfast buffet is $25 per person, and not nearly as good as you would get at a Golden Corral. At the bar 2 beers and a shot of tequila is $31. So beware.

They've done a beautiful job. The beds are soft and plush. The bathrooms are really quite something... They even have a motion sensor so the lights turn on in the bathroom when you walk in. Heavy gauge high quality fittings, great soundproofing that mutes the sound of the 101 quite well. The finest fitness center I've ever seen in a hotel and the big heated outdoor pool with a nice deck around it. Four stars instead of five because there is still construction going on and you may hear it if you... Read more

They are putting the finishing touches on a major remodel of this GIANT hotel near SFO Airport. It's convenient to the airport with frequent free shuttle service. Check in was fairly smooth, and fast. Unfortunately, even though the room was newly remodeled it was dirty. There was a thick layer of dust on shelves in the closet, the floor hadn't been properly vacuumed, and their were grease marks on glass surfaces. The bed was comfortable and there is drip coffee in each room. The room I had faced... Read more

Don't have much expectation from an airport hotel, but this one? Avoid in any price. The dining area is horrible. Disgusting food, zero service. The rooms are depressing. We needed to walk such a distance to our room, that we could reach our plane by this time. And the corridors are ugly. The staff could not be less personal. When another guest asked for a First Aid, they simply did not have it. Our friends and us asked to see the manager. Nobody got back to us. So forget about any hospit... Read more

I don't like to write bad reviews. but if I can help you to choose more hospitable hotels - that one is a must! The room was small, dirty and smelly. We called and ask for management. We are still waiting to hear back. After our check out, we tried to call the General Manager. He was so protected! For a good reason. This hotel is only a few miles from SFO and has large rooms that have been updated, there is a nice outdoor pool area with hot tub and gym located near the pool. The restaurant/ Bar offers breakfast buffet and a nice dinner option too. They have Gluten free options and are happy to make changes to items if needed, the wait staff was very knowledgeable and happy to assist.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency. The rooms were very nice, although a little chilly upon arrival. The staff was very friendly; I felt as if they cared about me and not just getting my money. The drinks and food are spendy so I walked to Walgreens or the gas station for drinks and snacks and there's also a restaurant across the street. I never did try the food at the hotel's restaurant. This is my second review of the property since I started travelling to the San Fran area regularly. The renovations seem to have changed the property quite a bit. The service is always good. except for the one odd time. The rooms on the 9th floor are renovated and are great. Except for the noisy air conditioning units that are in there. Not sure if there is a plan to change them or if they are the new ones. The club lounge offers decent options for food for breakfast and evening snacks.

Rather than deal with HW 101 during rush hour on way to morning flight out of SFO, we decided to stay at Hyatt. It advertises that you can drop off your rental Hertz car here--which is what we did--but what it doesn't say is that it will cost you an extra $100 to do so. Room was quite nice. Newly renovated. Because our teenager is over 6' tall, we upgraded to get an adjoining 'parlor' so he could have a pull-out sofa rather than a (shorter) rollaway. The parlor was huge and nice. Beautiful bath...
