Very convenient when needing to stay near the airport. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly. I got an unexpected visit from the "robot" with a free gift--that was very cool. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Hamptom a day before our cruise departed from San Francisco. Prompt shuttle pick up from the airport. Quiet room on the third floor. Internet was free and worked well. Breakfast was also free, and the buffet had several options. Overall, a good stay at a reasonable price for SFO lodging. I would stay there again

That is a very good choice! The room is clean and in high equality. The staff are friendly and they provide breakfast. It is quiet. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. Just one thing, you need to be care about it is Hampton Inn Suits. At beginning, we went to Hampton Inn. The person there was very nice too. He gave us a map of the location of Hampton Inn Suits.

Generally the staff was not interested in making us feel welcome or in being helpful. My husband slipped and fell in the shower, hurting his back. The non-skid area is far too narrow, leaving lots of slippery surface area on the floor of the tub.

Received inaccurate information at check-in. Manager admitted the clerk was wrong. Due to the inaccurracy, I would have had to sleep in a chair but asked for an upgrade, originally told there wasn't one, but one became available so I slept on a pull-out. Manager said the situation would be a good training opportunity for his staff. Toliet kept running for 2 nights even after janitor 'fixed' it. Overall, friendly staff, clean hotel, decent breakfast.

This hotel was extremely clean and Eric who checked me in was fabulous. It was a great and easy checkin and he helped me with directions. I ran into the Robot Butler and that was pretty awesome! Didn't get to use it, but it was a good touch. Being so close to the airport I thought it would be a problem with noise, but it wasn't so bad. I heard a little bit of noise, but not so much. It was a quick stay, but I enjoyed it!

Stayed here for 5 nights on a business trip and pretty much it's a typical Hampton Inn. It sits right behind the airport, so very convenient and they have a free shuttle service. No complaints with my room but I was impressed with their robot that delivers things like waters to your room. Kinda freaked me out at first because I thought it was a carpet cleaner! Overall, nice stay.

Booked a corner suite, loved it. Big and spacious, great view of dawn over the bay. Very practical to return the rental car the night before travel, taking the hotel shuttle back to the hotel and then back to the airport the next morning. I have a nice little routine of grabbing in-n-out at Millbrae before checking in and returning the car. Put my cellphone light on in the dark at one point and was surprised at how much dust there was floating around in the room.

When I arrived unexpectedly in the area, close to the San Francisco airport, without a reservation, the web said it was sold out. I went in and told Chrys (I think that was her name) that I love Hampton Inns and REALLY wanted to stay there. She said there was a chance, took my number and said she'd call if there was a cancellation. I went to lunch nearby and, sure enough, she called and said there had been a cancellation. (Usually people don't call when they say they will.) The room was clean a... Read more

I needed a room urgently and very late, almost 1am and not only were they able to make it work, but they reduced the price as I would be checking out in a matter of hours. After a terrible night, for the first time I was able to take a deep breath and relax in the immaculate king suite. The night had been so tense that I knew sleep wasn't going to happen, I was wrong. I would have no hesitation coming back here, not just because they were able to get me a space when so many hotels were booked... Read more

We chose the Hampton online to stay the night before an early flight the next morning. I like that it's not a HUGE hotel, it's super clean/modern, and I felt completely comfortable pulling the covers back (usually there's a gross-out factor at most hotels) ~ staff very friendly ~ airport shuttle service was super convenient ~ We'd definitely stay there again !!!

If you need a place to stay close to SFO the Hampton Inn is an excellent choice. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well appointed, there is free internet available, some rooms have a view of the bay, and it is not too far if you want to plan a trip into San Francisco.

We selected this hotel for the location and it definitely paid off. We needed a convenient accommodation in anticipation of an early morning flight back to the east coast. We got that and more. Nice hotel that's a 10 minute max drive to the airport. Staff was friendly and room was spotless. Parking was free. Not in an area of restaurants or shops. A gas station within a mile to refuel rental car before returning. The on-site computer area was a 2 computer area that worked well for printing out travel needs. Breakfast was simple but good. Checked into hotel late at night. Desk help was pleasant enough but was not really good getting our reservation up or the welcome package together. Room was average and needed some freshening up. Wall paper coming down in bathroom. Room was on 4th floor and there was constant machinery noise in the room. Maybe the air handlers on the roof? Breakfast was okay, not much selection or variety. I don't usually pay $300+ for a room at a Hampton Inn but that seems to be the norm in the Bay Area these days. That said, this is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff and a shuttle bus for SFO (although I wish it would run every 20 mins other than every 30). You can ask for your free bottle of water to be delivered by the hotel robot, which is a nice, fun twist! A convenient location near the airport, the Hampton Inn is modern and exceptionally clean and maintained. From towel sculptures in the rooms to a nice assortment in the convenience store, one of the better Hampton Inns I have experienced. Service at check in was excellent. Shuttle from airport every 30 min is efficient, although shared with two other local hotels. 20 min from hotel to terminal.

Located just south of airport makes for quick trip to drop off rental car and flight. Getting to the location difficult. Views are bad--very little of water and surrounding properties not the best.. We stayed here the night before a flight out of SFO. It's conveniently located and has an airport shuttle. Downsides: The breakfast starts at 6 which is a little late given the early morning flights. The shuttle stops at 2 other hotels so it takes awhile to get the airport. We were hoping for a quick bite to eat the night we arrived. A little bit pricey but well located. We stayed there for 2 nights, visiting San Francisco. Hotel is about 1.5 miles from SF international airport and the Bay Area Rapid Train (BART) is right in the airport. This train takes you directly to Union Square in downtown SF (30 mins) where you can take the cable cars and shop. Trains run until 1 a.m. so this option is the best if you do not want to drive. This hotel provides free shuttle service every 1/2 hour to the airport/train.

This hotel is fine, but there are other much better options near the airport. For one, the shuttle service is only every 30 minutes, which means you could be left at the airport waiting for quite awhile.
