"It quite frustrating to receive your request about my stay at the Radisson Hotel in SF as I the night we should have arrived spend two hours to get in touch with you from the airport of Chicago without being able to get in touch with you for cancelation. We were stranded in Chicago Airport as our overseas flight was much delayed and this game too late for our connecting flight to SF.
It was simple impossible to cancel and that you know.
I have send you several mails canceling the hotel. SO WE DID NOT STAY AT THE HOTEL and that you know.
That is why I by this opportunity try to make you clear that I cancelled the stay and expect you to act acordingly.

"It a very Clean hotel and the restaurant is great, which is a good thing considering that there is nothing around the hotel. The staff was OK however the front desk women was not very helpful. We arrived at the hotel after an overnight flight with the hopes that we could get an early check in. When I asked her about it she stated that check in was not until 3:00 and that the earliest she could even think about was 12:00. so we sat in the lobby and waited for a little while then went and had breakfast in the restaurant. My husband went back to the front desk and asked the manager if he could let us know as soon a room was cleaned so that we could let my grandfather lay down. Within a matter of 10 mins we had a room, he then asked them to call the room we had and let us know when the second room was open, we never got a call so at 11:55 I went down to the Front desk to check and was again told by the girl that the rooms would not be ready until 12:00 that the other guest were still in the room. How can the guest be in the room and it be cleaned and ready at 12:00. at 12:15 my husband went back down and got the room which was 2 doors down from the 1st room that we got and according to house keeping had been ready since 11:30. The front desk lady could have been a little more understanding as she could see we were traveling with 2 kids and an 87 year old man and we were all very tired. Had she been a little more understanding our stay would have been better. Also if you are going to this hotel assuming that it is close to downtown please know that you will have to get a taxi and it is about 50 dollars one way so it maybe better to stay in the downtown area"

"The only reason I didn't give the overall experience & quality a 5 rating is because our dinner at the Xebec restaurant was less than stellar. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was well appointed with a decent view of the bay, and it served our needs for one night. The area was surprisingly quieter than I expected, since it was close to the airport."

"We have a big family and wanted to take the kids to SF for a little outing and family fun and decided to stay nearby for a night just for fun. Called and asked if they had adjoining rooms which they don't but they were sure to give us rooms across the hall from each other which worked out perfectly for us. They also 'upgraded' us to the 8th floor which the kids thought was pretty cool. The views on both sides were nice but nothing super. Rooms were clean and spacious.Parking was free and easy. Only had to speak to staff at check in and check out and both were friendly. We liked that it was close enough to main attractions to drive to. Would recommend to someone not looking to stay in the heart of the city but still nearby."

"Everything was fine eccept for the Bathroom exaust fan did not work and when I repoted it I was told they would send someone to fix it. The repair person said there was nothing he could do about it because the fans were not individual fans there was one central one on the roof and it was just ineficient. He said it was a bad design when they built the hotel. Unsatisfied with our stay at this hotel. Would like to have a refund."

"The only annoying thing was the person behind the desk repeating 'one night stay' many times. 'These are the keys to you one night stay room', 'is this only for a one night stay', 'i'll be glad to help you get setup for your one night stay'.
Ok, so now everyone knows I am only staying one night !!, But do you have to mention it to everyone at the registration desk?
That was annoying !!!

"Terrible! The hallways and room smelled of cigarette smoke...profusely! The early morning staff was very rude. The room clocks were about 10 minutes behind...unbeknown to us, until we went downstairs to catch the airport shuttle. We obviously missed it and had to pay $40 to have a taxi take us in time for our flight. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The coffee was decent at the lobby coffee bar ard the location of the hotel was convenient. We were also able to check in early. These things were much appreciated. However, overall, I would not recommend this hotel."

"We stayed for a week and found that our room was clean and spacious with good ammentites. Front of house staff were very helpfull and friendly. Unfortunatly the same could not be said for some of the staff in the restaurant who need an attitude adjustment. As international tourists we found the hotel a bit to far out of the city centre as it required us to catch the hotel courtesy bus to the airport and then the BART into the city which added about $17 pp a day along with 40 minutes to one hour of travelling time each way. Notwithstanding the above it was the best of the 3 hotels we stayed at while in the USA."

"We are repeat customers to the Radisson Bay Front and continue to be very pleased with the hotel itself. However, we were so disappointed in the restaurant at the hotel, I doubt we'll use it again. After asking our waitress twice for bread, we asked another server to bring it. Then had to make another request for butter to accompany the bread... We had to ask for water - twice. We had to ask to see a dessert menu after our waitress had obviously deserted us for about 20 minutes after we'd finished our meal with no check in sight. A group of Spanish-speaking customers decided to have a very animated and VERY LOUD discussion STANDING UP within five feet of our table which lasted at least 45 minutes. Had the management had their customers' comfort in mind, they might have suggested that they sit down and have their discussion perhaps lowering the volume so as not to disturb others. No such luck. Lovely restaurant, LOUSY management."

I am so glad I decided to stay here and will stay here again. I cannot recommend this place enough. The restaurant is amazing and the pool and amenities are worth it. The staff is very helpful and truly care about you enjoying your trip. It is also near candlestick park so if you are there for a Niners game it is a great place to stay! "

"I booked this trip with the notion that we would take a few days and scope out San Francisco. I've never been to California, and I thought it would be a good learning experience and fun at the same time. I was right. Although this hotel is kind of off the beaten path, I enjoyed our stay. I would have liked our view of the Bay more if construction hadn't been underway across the street as the orange fences hindered the view, but I could just walk across the street and down the short path to some really nice benches to watch the seagulls root around for food. The staff in the hotel was excellent. Our room was clean and had all the amenities we needed and then some. As we relied on public transportation to get around, we were thankful for the complementary shuttle to and from the airport, which we also used to get to the nearest BART station to get into town. As I said earlier, it is off the beaten path of downtown San Francisco. The hotel concierges we worked with helped us plan our transportation and were always willing to listen to us. I was really happy with a few guys for taking their jobs so seriously to make us feel as comfortable as possible and especially for helping us make our flight on time for the trip home. Thanks again, I would recommend this hotel and the restaurant in their downstairs lobby."

"Overall my trip and stay at the hotel were great. When I checked in they gave me a room with a sleep number bed which was great, very comfortable bed. The room was nice and clean when I arrived and the staff were very friendly. I chose this place because they were close to the city and also to the peninsula. You do need a car if you need to venture out or attend business meetings, etc as it isn't close to any public transportation. I also chose it because they offered free parking and free wifi which is a plus, and also a restaurant on site for meals so I didn't need to drive anywhere to eat. The only problem that I had was the cleaning staff didn't take away my dirty glasses from the day/night before and there wasn't ample parking in the lot when I returned in the evening and I had to park across the street in a corporate parking lot and walk in the dark back to the hotel (not a good feeling) even though there wasn't much traffic. But overall a nice place to stay, comfortable, quiet and would probably stay here again."

"Stayed here for the San Francisco Marathon. It was a lot closer to the city than the other airport hotels and a better bargain. The first night we arrived there was a family reunion and it was impossible to even get an answer from room service, so my husband wenot down to place an order. It didn't take too long to arrive and was OK. Staff was alway very friendly and the room appeared very clean. One morning I put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign up and the housekeeper knocked anyway. When I pointedly took the sign off the door and asked her to come back, she smilingly chided me and said, 'Don't use that sign.' which was weird, but she was so friendly about it, almost like 'We shouldn't have to stand on such formalities.' Unfortunately, we do. "

"Three miles north of SFO, this is a quiet place out on the point even though planes are going over(they are very high and they turn west before getting to the point).
There is only one exit off 101 with no services except the two hotels and the marina. I saw no street people and no junk cars and it is only 5 miles from down town (clean quiet!!!)."

"Stayed here during the US Open at the Olympic Club. Rooms were great, staff friendly and efficient, location ideal -- just a short drive to Candlestick for the shuttle buses. Only issue we had during our two-night stay was in the restaurant & bar. There weren't any tables for more than two diners, so the host sat us in the bar. After not getting service for ten minutes, I got up to get drinks for our group. The bartender said he was our waiter, and he'd be right there to take our order. Ten more minutes passed before I got up, went back to the restaurant, spoke to the host, who then found us a table. He was very apologetic about the poor service in the bar area, and bought us our round of drinks. Things will happen at any hotel or restaurant. What separates the good from the best is how they correct their mistakes. In this case I give the Radisson an A."

"Location was right off the freeway, but never heard it during our stay. Rooms were nice, clean, beds were really comfortable. Parking was free, but tight if you arrived back at your room late at night. You definitely need a car, there is nothing within walking distance. Indoor pool was nice (small-ish) but we did see two dead spiders floating around - we just pushed them away. Had no problems with the wi-fi. Worked perfectly. Would definitely stay there again."

"I arrive and the staff is not helpful at all, then i finally get to me room with a bed covered with hair and toe nail clippings. I ask the staff to please do something about it and they look at me like if i was speaking French. After three hours i got the problem fixed and was offered expired chocolate as an apology."

"The hotel was clean. Liked the fact that we had a lil fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The bloody mary in the bar was really good. The food in the resturant was good, but had small portions for the price and doesn't stay open late. Also, the morning we at in the resturant, the waitress was pretty much working the entire room on her own. The night staff was great! Asked if any place delivered pizza that night and the clerk gave us a great recommendation - pizza was delicious. However, there are no fast food places nearby, and the cost for a taxi to go to the city and back was $25 each way! Definitely better off renting a car."

"Really liked the Radisson. There are a couple of things one should know though about the location. We did have a great view over the water, towards the airport. This hotel as other people have said is out of the city but an easy drive into downtown. You definitely need a car if you don't want it to cost a small fortune to get into the city. If you don't have a car the Radisson staff suggest you use their free shuttle to the airport, (only 10 minutes max), then catch the amtrax to the city from the airport. Only thing is it costs $10/person each way. I used my free phone app,'Best Parking' which did an excellent job of finding exactly that and the best price. I also used the phone to navigate so driving wasn't a problem. It would be a great hotel to use for park and stay when going overseas. Nice clean, very spacious rooms, with microwave, coffee maker, comfortable bed and fridge, Had an excellent breakfast in their restaurant."

"My trip to San Francisco was incredible; unfortunately my stay at the Radisson was awful. I made this reservation because I had previously stayed by the airport at the Embassy Suites. I was looking to save a little bit of money and was hoping that the Radisson would live up to its name. Apparently I was wrong. The restaurant was horrible, the food the service all of it. On top of that the heater at night was noisy, and last but not least I got back home and realized I left my cell phone on the desk in the room. Well after talking to housekeeping mgr she stated sorry nothing was turned in; well I know I left it there and I have to deal with the loss, but after asking on two separate occasions to have the Hotel mgr call me back I have yet to receive a phone call. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone ever."

"Our stay was very nice, the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever had. My only complaint was the shower head was mad for someone very very tall, but for height challenged people it was not very good. I was to get a room with a bay view and I did not receive that, I got in late and was not able to see anything until the next morning and by then I had unpacked my clothes so I stayed in the room I was promised. "Very nice hotel -everyone was friendly especially Isabel at the front desk. Since hotel is about 10 miles out she called a reliable cab driver Rick (yellow cab) nice guy -was very fair regarding cab fare -unlike many cabbies in SF who can take advantage of unknowing tourists- we used hime all 3 days we travelled in SF to ride in to Union Square.
Hotel has nice work out room, indoor pool and a pretty good restaurant.
very convient from airport only 4 miles and provides shuttle -that was nice, clean and fast to and from the airport. The room was clean and smelled fresh -but not surprising as it looks pretty new - I would definitely stay there again as it was very good value as the hotel with airfare package we purchased.

"Took my daughter on a surprise vist to SF. The conceirge, Amy could not have been more helpful prior to my arrival on all the special events I wanted my daughter to attend.Amy went above and beyond.
The shuttle to and from the airport on time and efficient. Very easy to get to the airport and then hop on the BART to get into the downtown.
Food at the hotel was good and pricing reasonable. Staff could have been a bit more timely for us receiving our meals, but they were extremely friendly and happt to accomodate anything we needed.
Only very slight drawback to this hotel was the maid service. Noticed things in bathroom which should have been cleaned and were not. If you do not need to be in the downtown hustle and bustle, or do not want to pay the rates of a downtown hotel, this is the place to stay! "

"The Renaissance was conveniently located. Very easy to find. I didn't like the quality of the pillows. They were the least comfortable pillows I have ever slept on in any type of hotel. But overall the room was a nice size and room service was thorough with their duties. The staff of the hotel were welcoming and informative. Maybe the gift shop/convenient store could use more merchandise. But for the deal we got through bookit.com, it was great overall."
