I am in hotels on a weekly basis and average >200 days in hotels. To date, this is the worst hotel in which I have stayed. Frankly, as a Hilton Diamond member, I am surprised Hilton hasn't forced an upgrade here. This Embassy Suites is close to the office in Brea so I have stayed here a few times but this most recent stay was the last straw There was mold growing around the intake and register for the AC system, the toilet was dirty and there was a LOT of hair in the bathtub. Upgraded to a suite, however, the suite was not finished with renovations. Faucets did not work. Rooms were bare. Toilet paper holder missing pieces. Motion detection lights in the bedroom went on every time you turned in bed and you couldn't turn them off.

I recently stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. This is exactly what I am looking for when traveling. The breakfast was also very good. I ordered room service several times and the food was very good and the servers were very friendly. The only issue I had was my telephone was not working and it took two service requests and two days to get it fixed. They are also finishing up the renovation on a couple of floors so you may get some noise during t... Read more

I love this hotel. Mostly for the pretty atrium area which has a nice complimentary breakfast. This one had a great workout area for my daughter and I. The only issue was there was construction going on when we were staying so there were closed off elevators and some noise.

This Embassy Suites is undergoing renovations as of May 26th. Other than that this place is great even by Embassy Suites standards. They warned of noise possibly after 630 but it wasn't noticed by me and I'm a light sleeper. Great breakfast and their omelette chef did a great job. Comfortable rooms and the restaurant was also very good. I had the Buffalo wings and loved them. Great service and we will be back when in the area.

Loved the goldfish. My kids had a blast feeding them. Only thing was the busboy at breakfast refused to get me a high chair. Was willing to show me where they were. I was alone with my three small children. Would have been a huge relief to not have to drag all three of them

Good location for our visit with family, and the complimentary breakfast is much better than what we've experienced at other hotels. Renovations being done were not a problem, and hardly noticeable. We will probably be back next year!

I travel to this hotel a few times per year for work and am always happy. The front desk personnel are helpful and accomodating, the rooms are very spacious and clean, and of course the included hot breakfast every morning is a huge plus. I personally love the Egyptian theme the hotel has, but they are doing a renovation and are doing away with the theme. I stayed here for a business conference and was pleasantly surprised to find a mall on one side and a Target on the other. It was very convenient to pick up a few things and take care of some birthday shopping in my unoccupied evenings. The hotel was very nice and the staff was always really friendly. The meeting room was comfortable and they always provided nice stacks. Lunches were provided and the food and service were always good. Overall, a very nice trip!

We were attending the track meet at Cerritos College and were here two nights. The rooms were clean and well equipped. My son especially liked the snack tray. Breakfast was good with a wide variety and hot items well cooked. We found the ice makers working and the staff very pleasant. Parking was simple and convenient. Rooms were quiet and pool too. I liked the courtyard with the fountain. My only issue was one elevator was out with the remodel.

Be aware of the fact that despite this being a non-smoking hotel, guests are allowed to smoke on balconies. Keep your windows closed to avoid smoke entering your room. Keep your breakfast voucher with you, it is asked for at random. As for breakfast, if you are looking for the bacon, it is at the omelette bar. That is annoying as you must stand in line to get it vs being able to serve yourself. I assume this is kept behind the counter to keep it from vanishing. The breakfast buffet was varied,... Read more

Breakfast could be better. Especially for The price of the hotel room per night. The snacks served during free cocktails could have been better. Bartender was looking out window waiting for something while I was there. Normally a great hotel. A shame i went there during construction, I wish I would have known, normally in great shape there but this trip was forgettable to say the least.

I stayed here recently for 2 weeks with my husband, we both were aware that the hotel was under renovation & we still chose to stay here. The renovation taking place is more major than we had envisioned & the first week of our stay was probably the worst. Everyday there were lots & lots of dust it lingered with no way of escape, there was quite a bit of noise from machinery & workmen. Its a major renovation & its happening right outside your room in the middle of the hotel, theres no way any gue... Read more

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Unfortunately, it is the only hotel in the Brea area. It is under construction and they have the nerve to charge the same rates that they would if it wasn't under construction. The management is less than professional and a few of the desk staff were incompetent. When a medical emergency arose, they did not call the paramedics in a timely manner and then tried to make excuses for their lack of attention to the matter.

this was a great stay at the hotel! i deff recommend it. I know the lobby is going under construction right now but it is stated on the website so it should not be a surprise. it will prolly take a few months which is normal. doesn't effect my room stay. the front desk was great. it would be Jordan and Bridgett and Devon ( FOM ) thank you guys for always giving a helping hand.

Room was very clean, nice and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was great too! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Even though there was some construction/remodeling going on, I never heard noise from it, but would love to go back to see what it's going to look like at the end. And to have the mall right next door, even better!

basically in a nut shell it was my wedding weekend and they gave my presidential suite that i reserved more than 5-6 months a head of time to a person who extended their stay. and all they can tell me is that by law they cannot kick that person out of the room but they can cancel my reservation. yes they gave me another room but still its the principal. also they did not tell there was going to be renovation going on at this time which was unpleasant to look at. also i keep on trying to call... This hotel has lost the excellence of the Embassy Suite franchise during remodeling. The prices are the same in spite of the noise, the paint, and relocation of the breakfast area. The chairs placed in the breakfast area were soiled. The fruit used for the evening free gathering appeared to have been previously frozen. The rooms were decent and the plus was being in walking distance of the mall.

This hotel was undergoing renovations but no mention was made of that fact when I made reservations. I have grown accustomed to higher standards and expected more from Embassy Suites Hotels. Staff were less than helpful. An unexpected situation.

This hotel is under construction with dust everywhere. The center atrium is being redone with no ability to control dust and sandstone. If you have any respiratory problems, would definitely stay away.

Stayed at property about 3 times now, first couple of times noticed that rooms were beat up and in bad need of refresh. Was happy to see model of refresh after our 2nd stay. On this most recent stay, our 3rd, we thought we were lucky enough to be put in one of the newly refreshed rooms, it was so new, we still smelled the wet paint. Sadly for us, the job that was done on the refresh was sloppy at best. I found multiple spots of failure within seconds of entering the room, made me wonder if the r... Read more

We were greeted by an exceptionally friendly and cheerful check-in staff (Lauren?) when we arrived in the evening. Thank you! The suite was exactly of what we needed. It's spacious and had been remodeled recently. In fact the hotel is under renovation; much of the ground floor was a construction zone. The contractor had kept it clean and tidy though. Breakfast was free and the selection was very good, including made-to-order omelette. The only issue we ran into was with the bartender. ... Read more

Once the remodel is complete this Embassy Suite will be beautiful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The restaurant was not a great choice for dinners and was very expensive for the atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast was great and very helpful since we were there for a Softball tournament for my daughter.

The hotel was currently going through renovations during my stay, but it didn't affect the excellent service. The suite was very nice, although the lighting was a little too low. It was the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had!

Nice hotel, even while under construction. Breakfast is delicious and always more than enough variety of food. My only issue was the parking. Mall shoppers go in and make it difficult to park when returning from meetings at night. In my opinion, that needs to be fixed.

Embassy Suite is a little more money but it is always well worth the money. It is easy off the freeway and central to all my Orange County stops. The have been remodeling the entire hotel. The rooms have been finished. The main ballroom downstairs. It has never been a problem. It is always a pleasure to stay there.

Embassy Suites in Brea is a wonderful hotel. I am never disappointed when I stay here. The evening happy hour reception was a great way to meet up with other friends who were there and we also enjoyed the full breakfast the next day. I felt very welcomed there.
