This was our 6th visit to the Beverly Hilton. If you want a hotel who has not forgotten it's history, with constant activity from Movie Stars and an outstanding staff this is your hotel. If you want a stuffy BH Hotel with zero personality this is NOT your hotel. The rooms have been updated and if you can I would try to get an Oasis Suite as the building is smaller and you can get away from crowds yet you are only a few steps away from the activity.

The location is ideal to walk and shop Beverly Hills. It is also a good value for the area. The concierge service was great as they arranged several nice dinners for us and the availability of the house car to get around is a nice service as well.

I arrived here after 7 nights in a cramped hotel in New York and thought I was in heaven!! What a beautiful hotel! The room was so spacious and the bedding was just beautiful. Really enjoyed the pool and gym. Location is great and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here three times and have never been disapointed. Te staff is extremely helpful and go out of there way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are very fresh and have been updated. There is a free shuttle service to any spot within one mile of the hotel which is convenient if you do not feel like walking or driving.

The service in this hotel is impeccable. I have stayed in many hotels, but never experience the quick response/quick resolution I ALWAYS get to any issues at the Beverly Hilton. It is truly the only place I experience service with a smile and an extreme effort to make your stay enjoyable. If it is not right, they make it right very quickly! They actually make you feel like you are important. Well done, Beverly Hilton staff, AGAIN!

This hotel oozes history. Back in the days, this was THE hotel to be seen at. When they had the grand opening, Ester Williams swam in the pool and they had a parade of elephants outside the entrance. Very glamorous! Now it's not quite as glamorous. It's still a grand hotel and certain aspects are very good, but it's lacking in finess and luxury. The breakfast buffet is very good with an omelett station and various bread, fruits, granola, yogurt ect. The service is also good with a friendly sta... Read more

Our family of 5 just finished a San Francisco-to-Los Angeles trip and the final two nights of our stay were at the lovely Beverly Hilton. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to first-class treatment in a beautiful setting. Some highlights: -While the surrounding construction is a bit of a nuisance, we were in an Oasis tower room far from it. -As a Gold Hilton member, we received two bottles of water each day as well as breakfast vouchers. The continental breakfast had plenty of fresh ... Read more

This place is wonderful. Greeted by every staff member with open arms and helpful at all costs. They have a courtesy vehicle to get you around Beverly Hills that was wonderful. All of the food at every bar or restaurant was great and our Junior Suite was fabulous. We used the spa and salon which both were great as well. We have no complaints whatsoever as this is a classic hotel in a beautiful city. We will return to Beverly Hills and we will stay at the Beverly Hilton. Thank you all.

Very nice hotel with great history. I have lived in Southern California all my life and this was the first time I have been here. Make sure you book the upgraded tower room where all the rooms have a great view of LA from the spacious balcony which makes the room feel roomy. Only downside was the unexpected, unplanned turning off of the water from midnight to 4am. We had to get up early to attend an event and the water was scalding hot both on the hot and cold faucet. The hotel has nice spacious rooms and service is great when you ask for it. For example a kettle needs to be requested, so ask for it. The breakfast is descent. Some of the services are overpriced for no apparent reason other than they can. I'll stay again if they provide a good room.

Great location, accommodation, and old world charm. It was walkable to most shopping and restaurants. Great poolside breakfast, gym, & luxury amenities I suggest that request a room with a terrace overlooking the pool. Otherwise, lots of road noise. Other local hotels were much costlier and less amenities. This hotel is where the rat pack hung out and Whitney Houston died. Lots of history and the photos on the wall proudly display it

The ambience was good, location in B Hills was great. Service was average, and especially for our 13-year old son with food allergies, the hotel restaurant was not at all accommodating. Options were practically non existent, and the staff were not friendly to help us figure out possible options for a child with allergy. Disappointing for a hotel of this class and style!

We loved the room, and loved the location (despite the horrid LA traffic) since we needed to be in the area. For the reputation of this hotel it was very disappointing. The room was not updated. There was only one bar of soap, one towel a person and toilet paper that was rough. Superb location - walking distance to Rodeo Drive and in the heart of Beverly Hills. This hotel is extremely comfortable as you'd expect but what sets it apart is the clever way they have retained some of that cool 1960s ambience (most apparent in the pool area) and the palpable sense of history with many famous guests over the years. The room was large and comfortable but certainly not plush or overtly luxurious. Breakfast was fine though again not memorable. $40 a night to park the car was a b... Read more

Have stayed here many times with my children as teenagers and adults. It has the best pool and amazing value for Beverly Hills. An iconic hotel with a lot of Hollywood history. Rooms great size and very good bathrooms. Rodeo drive 10 minute walk away past Saks 5th avenue amongst other great stores. It's not the Beverly Hills hotel but it's not their prices either!! This is a lovely hotel which retains its late 50's/60's retro style. The hotel is smart and comfortable but not ultra modern so may not be to everyone's liking. For us the hotel had a lot of character and charm and we'd love to return. All staff helpful and polite, though not as aggressively up front as other Hilton hotels, but the approach suits the character of the hotel. Food at the hotel was excellent.

Beautiful pool area with food and beverage service. Friendly staff with good food options at the restaurant. Check in was quick and the valet service team was very efficient in getting us our car when needed. Most important to me, the hotel was quiet at night and kept very clean. One of the best hotel stays we have had. After our conference we spent a vacation day touring and wanted to stay some where fun. I will say at first glance I thought the building tired and dated from the exterior and difficult to access. However, once we entered it became a well designed gem. I credit the ownership and management for not changing this great design. New hotels today miss an elegance and luxury that this place had. We stayed at this hotel because my son had an appointment at UCLA. It is only 2.5 miles from UCLA. It is close to Westwood and Rodeo Drive. It's a fun location. We ate dinner outside by the pool. It was lovely. My only complaint is that it is very expensive. The air conditioning also was very noisy.

My two nights stay at The Beverly Hilton was very nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The reception of the hotel is clean and well-maintained. My regular room was upgraded to the Wilshire Tower side which is newer and was lovely. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spotless and roomy. All in all I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel.

Although the 'stars' were there on one of the nights, I wouldn't say the hotel had 'star' accommodation facilities in general. Overrated and relying on location reputation. Offered the use of the house car for free if needing to travel anywhere in Beverly which is apparently is a 1 mile radius from the hotel but we're not prepared to take us to a location that was 1.2 miles away. Check on room allocation before booking. Stay away from Oasis tower as it is the oldest section and in need of refur... Read more

The grand old Beverly Hilton is still still standing and the place to be seen. Very efficient and friendly staff throughout, especially housekeeping. Many employees are long-timers which makes it especially nice to come back to. However, be advised that major construction projects in and outside the hotel are ongoing which makes it difficult to walk to the nearby shops and restaurants. Food and beverages are pricey, but then again, it is Beverly Hills so no complain really. Still 5 star but beca... Read more

Construction going on in room next to ours, loud honking constantly from the parking garage while trying to relax at the pool. The front desk staff was rude and condescending, my room was dirty. We spent a couple of days in this hotel on the way back from Miami. It was a nice stay but the roo and the hotel facilities are nothing special. We stayed in the cheapest room they offer, and the noise of the heating was so loud that we had to turn it off at night. The room was very spacious but not very modern, the bed was ok, the view average and the bathroom a little small. The Beverly Hilton exceeded our expectations of a "Hilton" hotel. Not your typical chain hotel as the service level is that of a much more expensive boutique hotel. I had a great stay as I always do at this property. I was even able to extend my stay an extra day on a sold out night. I only had one gripe and that was they closed the pool on a few hours notice for a private party and if you've stayed at this property before, that's 80% of the attraction of staying here. We got a letter under our door the day of. Other than that, the weather was great as was our stay.
