Two adults stayed for one night while on a road trip. We reserved well in advance through Hilton Honors website and used online check-in. The room requested was waiting when we arrived and check-in was quick. Usually we are greeted as silver members and offered a bottle of water and/or snack. This location only recognizes gold and diamond members. I asked the desk personnel if there would be cookies in the lobby that evening and they apologized and informed me that location does not participate ... Read more

We loved that it's located right off the freeway, it makes it real convenient after a long trip down the mountain from Idyllwild. The room was super cozy and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and had a variety, with exception that they had no sausage. Overall, our stay was great. We'd come back again!

The service was good but the room needed the furniture cleaned. I didn't sit on anything but the bed. There were dark spots and white spots on the lounge and another piece of furniture. Double paned windows kept the noise out and they had room darkening shades. The guy at the front desk Michael was very professional. I would stay here again. I didn't like the old fashioned AC and heater though. The hotel itself was very clean and inviting.

The staff was very helpful & very friendly This location worked out for our stay since it was very close for us since we were attending a family wedding near by. We thought the rooms were clean and well taken care even for a older hotel. It met all of our needs during our over night stay. Out room was away from the freeway so we were able to sleep very well.

This place was a nice find in the area. Quiet, clean and very friendly staff! The hotel was remodeled and it is very nice with a modern look! The room was good sized, clean and had nice amenities. The bed was so comfortable. I wish that we had been able to stay for another night. I will be back!

I plan my trips to stay at this Hampton Inn. The staff is always helpful, the breakfast is above par and the rooms are fresh and sparkling clean. It is a bonus that it is so convenient right off the freeway. There is nothing that could be done to improve my stays here!

Couple of things: not very friendly front desk staff; hall carpets are way over due for cleaning (very noticeable spots throughout); room was quiet and pleasant enough except for tub that did not drain (front desk clerk did not apologize) and breakfast area was very dirty. I tried to wipe up what I thought was water and it was sticky syrup. Very, very dirty with needed refills that did not take place. Nasty.

Palm Springs is so hot & most rooms are way off I-10. Banning is convenient & much cooler. This Hampton needs room safes and better room maintenance (some lights were out) & bathroom door opens strangely. Extremely nice & helpful staff & excellent breakfast. Plenty of parking but watch out for irrigation overspray. Would stay here again for 1 night when enroute.

Travelling for a living, I have found the Hilton loyalty program best for my needs. I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Banning, CA a couple weeks ago and found their value to be somewhat poor. The morning desk person was abrupt and not very helpful. The amenities for Hilton Honors members are very spartan - the management tries to get by on the minimum service possible. Still not a bad place, and most of the staff are most excellent - they just need management that aren't set on gouging the general ... Read more

Stayed at this property based on its location. I planned to hike Mt. San Gorgonio and the hotel is close to the Vivian Creek Trailhead. Upon arrival, I was given my room key and I proceeded upstairs. When I got to my room, it smelled of smoke, even though it was a nonsmoking room. I went back downstairs and the Guest Service Agent was apologetic and got me a new room. This room was definitely an upgrade!!! Not sure what they classify it as, but I would classify it as an Executive King w/ a pull... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel for the 4 past summers on a getaway with college friends. Previous years have been great experiences. This year we had ants, the sink didn't drain and then black dirt and gunk began coming up from the sink. There was a large party next door and the bathroom light which was on a sensor kept coming on during the night. When mentioning this at checkout no real concern was given. I was told the manager would contact me and I still have yet to be contacted.

This was my second stay at HI&S and I can only recommend this Hotel in Banning. Quick access to the I-10 and lots of stores near by (only 10 minutes from the Premium Outlet). Room was clean, quiet and had a coffee machine in the bathroom (good idea if you travel with kids). Breakfast was very good and everything was clean. Staff was very friendly. We did not used the pool (too cold) or the hot tub (too hot). I can only recommend this hotel for a stop over on the way to LA or Phoenix

Arrived late in the evening to find that the rooms we had booked and guaranteed had been given to walk-in guests. We were offered an 'upgraded' room, however a king bed and pull out sofa are not the same as two queens and I spent a miserable night sleeping directly next to an aircon as loud as a freight train with a metal bar dissecting the middle of my 'bed'. We were not called to confirm our arrival, as some other hotels do prior to over-selling rooms. A minimally discounted rate is no compen... Read more

Very nice hotel. A little confusing to get to if you don't know the area well, but it also seems like a truck stop and many trucks park outside on the street and is dangerous to leave the driveway! Rooms are nice and clean, but the carpeting design is not very appealing. Lots of choices for the complimentary breakfast, but the beverages weren't very cold. We booked this hotel because it's not too far from Morongo Casino and way cheaper than the hotel prices there! Yes, we would stay there again.

The pros: convenient access from freeway, very large/accommodating rooms, neutrogena amenities, large bathroom, great breakfast, great meeting/greeting area in lobby with wide screen TV, wifi, friendly staff, 24 hour security, ample parking, excellent housekeeping. Suggestions: ask for rooms on the north if freeway noise bothers you and ask for non-down pillows if you are allergic to duck down.

As I am writing this review I am sitting in my room listening the freeway noise (even numbers face freeway). We are very partial to the Hampton brand but this place was a let down. First, the room size is large but the layout is terrible. The shower and sleeping area are small and the room needs better lighting. I recently had to work in Banning, CA. The Hampton Inn & Suites Banning-Beaumont was recommended. The hotel has a good staff. I did find some of them need additional training. The free breakfast was not so hot, but it was free and convenient. I managed to pick up something. Although not terrible, I can tell the hotel is getting a bit worn-out, i.e. carpets, furniture, and other amenities throughout. The biggest complaint is its proximity to the freeway.
