The Bakersfield Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay if you are in the Bakersfield area. The staff is very friendly and responsive to your needs. The facility is clean and the beds are great! The restaurant and bar have a comfortable and casual feeling with power ports available so you are sit and relax yet accomplish work at the same time. The location of the hotel is great for travlers. Located right off HWY 99 and close to the airport.

nicely located, friendly staff, comfy bed, .....but the rooms are old and dated. Didn't want to walk barefoot. For the prices you pay at Hiltons, you would expect a little better. There are other hotels in the area that are more up to date.

Lovely quaint hotel. Very Basic. Staff pleasant and helpful. Only no bellboy to take the luggage at any time. When we came he was out for lunch so we had to take the luggage ourself as we did not want to way an hour for the guy to return from lunch. Rooms are clean and toilet clean.

The Hilton Garden Inn was a very nice, well kept, clean, and comfortable hotel. Convenient location was a plus as well. The pool, fitness center, business center, and lobby / dining area were all very nice and accommodating.

very pricey, I thought the price is a little high, for Bakersfield. you would think it would be a little less in price. The internet ( for the complementary ) is very slow, We drove from Georgia to Calif. most hotels were less in price so this seemed a little over price We planned on not going over $100.00 per night and did not go over that. We noticed the door to the room had been kicked in, in the past, was not sure how well it hold up.

Had a king room on the second floor facing the rear of the hotel. Room was clean. Quiet for the most part. Reported A/C unit was not blowing cold air but I don't know if anybody checked it because it still was not blowing cold air after I reported it. Other than that, very good place to stay.

We stayed in a double queen room on the first floor. The front desk staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to help us. The room has tall ceilings, an updated bathroom and comfortable beds. The wifi wasn't that great and I could barely stay connected for longer than a few minutes without having to reconnect every few minutes. Also, the hotel will be renovating soon to upgrade the rooms. The floor in our room was somewhat buckled and had bumps in the carpet throughout. The rooms al... Read more

The Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay when visiting Bakersfield. It is right down the road from Buck Owens Crystal Palace and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The only disappointment was the workout room which is very small and lacking in the appropriate exercise equipment for a Hilton facility. Other than that, the food is great and the room are very clean and well kept. I would recommend this hotel for leisure as well as business travel!

Went to Bakersfield for a family reunion. Chose Hilton as previous experience with the brand was excellent and good value. Hilton staff are welcoming and always helpful and willing to assist, answer questions etc. Our room was very clean. Bath room extremely clean. The bed was oh so comfortable and we slept well. Location right off Hwy 99 with gas stations and lots of places to eat on a budget nearby.

Service and staff was great and very friendly, but the non-smoking room smelled of smoke as did the entire hallway of the floor. For that reason alone, I would not stay there again. Bartender/waiter was extremely helpful, but they ran out of wine which seems to me would be something you would have plenty of on hand! Ordered a steak for dinner. It was good. Waiter was outstanding and inquired to my needs regularly. Breakfast was very good!

We were just passing through, looking for something reasonble, but nice. Bingo! It was a nice area, very nice facility, including laundry room, which we used. The staff was very friendly. My sole complaint is no ice machine on the 1st floor. You have to get it from the restaurant.

Good hotel for business trip in Bakersfield. The hotel is clean but a bit dated. One of the outlets was loose in the wall and could pose a hazard. The staff was very friend and efficient. That bar staff was nice and I have an enjoyable stay for a business trip. I was able to work in the room the desk was nice and the internet connection was fast. The pillows are flat so bring your own from home.

We just stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bakersfield for the first time. We thought the hotel and our room was very clean and spacious. The front desk people were very helpful. Our TV would not turn on, and they came to the room and started it for us (had accidently been turned off during housekeeping). We thought the breakfast was good and reasonably priced - it's not part of the room price - it's extra but was worth it. They are doing construction to update the hotel and at 7:30 in the ... Staying in this hotel ruined the purposed of my staying which was not to miss a very valuable information at a convention that I had near by, but unfortunately I had to run in the hotel in the middle of it because I was asked to check out since they made reservation incorrectly for only 2 nights instead of 3.

This hotel is beginning an upgrade, but was still very nice and very clean. The staff is very accommodating, and the amenities are very good. This location was perfect for us because it was just around the corner from our favorite Basque restaurant. It also had ample parking for our 50'+ rig. They were very helpful in allowing us to park in the font lot where it was very visible from the hotel.

A dysfunctional Air Conditioning at the restaurant and the Gym and lobby area during the sizzling hot summer should never take this long to be repaired if is given the high priority it deserves. I am still staying at the hotel because The staff are the best this industry has to offer and I have been staying there for over two years now and hope these problems get resolved soon

Don't stay here until they complete the renovation. It is noisy, dusty and the staffs seems to be tired of hearing complaints about the renovation. Forget any "peace & quiet" until at least 5pm when the construction workers leave the hotel.

I chose this hotel because I liked what I saw online, however much different case when we checked in, You would think if they remodeled, the mattress would be the first to go, nope we had the worst night sleep. Also hope your not in a hurry because they choose to have the elevators for removal of old furniture while customers are trying to get out impossible.

Stayed here one night with family. The service was good and breakfast option was great. Only problem was a/c in room 412 was very noisy. Good stay otherwise. Location was across from costco. Fuel prices in area were higher. Pool and spa were clean. Construction underway in meeting rooms might be best to reserve meeting rooms elsewhere.

The frond desk staff didn't explain any of the breakfast options to us upon check in so we didn't inquire further.

We have stayed here numerous times over the years and this hotel has been getting better over the years. Polite staff and a clean well kept up facility. Breakfast is well done with many options as well as daily specials. We were disappointed on a rainy Sunday night when we got back in the afternoon hoping to eat at the onsite restaurant to find that it was closed and was not open on Sunday for supper. Otherwise this is a good choice on a street with many hotel choices.

Rooms were very clean, had coffee machine. i found a note by the cleaning lady with her name that I have personally cleaned the room, this was interesting since not many people take responsibility. There were free cookies and coffee near reception area.
