The hotel is older, but they are working much harder to satisfy their customers these days. Very good location, convenient to many shops and restaurants. They used to rely on location for business, but I feel like they have recognized that they still need to appreciate their customers because there are plenty of other choices in the area. I am still not a fan of price gouging, but most hotels do it based on supply in demand. All around this was a pleasant place to stay and I felt appreciated... Read more

The hotel was generally satisfactory .Unfortunately the service was shoddy to say the least- is not what one would expect of a Hilton brand or USA service. Even when things were pointed out, like a dirty bath that needed attending - there were no apologies or attempts to make up for the shoddiness. The breakfast plates were grimy. The real problem for me was the front desk service. Not very obliging. I forgot that ileft my phone charging in room after check out and although a very lovely cleane... Read more

The price for a family of 5 is great! It has lovely breakfasts (6:a.m. to 9 a.m.), including yummy omelettes, a delightful managers reception (5:30 - 7:30) - kind hosts - a big pool, free parking - super restaurants within walking distance.ie Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Zen Buffet, Brown Derby, Souplanta... This hotel was in a wonderful and convenient location. Very clean and great staff. It was a real bargain. A huge mall is close by that we enjoyed. The rooms were clean and spacious. We stayed at 3 different embassy Suites this trip because the price was so good. They do need an additional inlet station with 2 more chefs to keep the breakfast line moving. Also, hard boiled eggs on the cold cereal station! Overall s great place to stay for the money.

Embassy Suites provided excellent and quick check in. The rooms are bigger than average with a suite design. So you get a living room space and a bedroom space, and two TV's. The interior garden space is unique and relaxing. When you have the complimentary breakfast you are actually in a space that is nice for breakfast.

This property is one of my favorite hotels and has been for decades. But the old girl is showing her age and is overdue for a facelift. My room, 503, was missing the round magnifying mirror was missing. Looks like it was forcibly removed, the five holes puttied over and left to glare at me as I shaved. The credit side of the ledger includes great rates, decent breakfast and the traditional managers light food and beverage function. Aimee at the front desk was as accommodating as he could be. I s... The hotel itself is very nice. The atrium is beautiful with the running stream and all the foliage. The restaurant was excellent. We eat there every time we stay here. Breakfast was very good also. The evening reception was very nice, they treat you right here with no cost drinks. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating, was because the rooms are old. We arrived early and were fortunate to have a room ready for us. Traveling with a 2 year old and a 6 month old can be difficult but the room was spacious and provided us with enough amenities for the kids. I was nervous about the railing but they gave us a room right in front of the elevator on the 2nd floor which I truly appreciated that they noticed I have small children.

Typical atrium Embassy Suites property. Problem I have had at other such Embassy Suites are long waits for elevators. Here, not a problem as they were quick and I never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. An older Embassy Suites, but in a good location right on Huntington Drive. Have stayed here many times over the years. Nice bedrooms with typical extra sinks. Evening reception had only one bartender for the whole hotel. Very long line. Seems like cheapness strategy. Meager snack selection. Some guests said the heck with it - stand in very long line for one lousy drink. A good hotel would have had extra help to satisfy customers for a grand total of 2 hours. But, I guess the met their strategy to "cheese" their customers.

The soda machine is a huge plus as well. I can't brag enough about the quality! Breakfast is wonderful also with an abundant selection. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

This hotel in Arcadia, California, brought it all. The staff was welcoming and gracious. The room was perfectly clean and the ambience throughout was extremely pleasant. I have stayed here before and will be back again. The value is wonderful and the memories made here are great!

Be transported back in time to the original Embassy Suites of old. Sadly this hotel hasn't renovated, and my room felt it wanted a makeover. Other Embassy Suites have. The wallpaper, couch, shower, ahh all of it. The bathroom is small with rusted chrome, no USB ports, lamp didn't work, and torn wallpaper. The staff, breakfast crew, and restaurant service was very good. But I'd go elsewhere next time.

We found this hotel to be nicely located and a great choice for a recent work/ family trip to Southern California. You are within an hour of most of popular destinations, and things like LA Zoo and old Pasadena are right down the road. The separate living room area was great for us. Our son could go to bed early and take naps, and we could still watch tv and talk in the living room. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they were VERY clean. I have stayed at the more updated Doubletree down the... Read more

We were very happy with our suite. Much easier for hubby to go to bed early and me to stay up late without disturbing him. Loved the feeling of outdoors in the interior of the building with the trees, waterfall, koi ponds, and the glass elevators. We were very surprised and happy to see (and take advantage of) the reception in the afternoons. Breakfast was quite impressive, too...omelettes were better than those we'd had at restaurants, and there was a really large choice of breakfast items.... Read more

Hotel is old. Lots of rust, mold. Dirty carpets. Needs updating badly. Managers reception needs some better " snacks" bartender Dianne is fabulous. Front office staff adequate at best. Birds comfortable. Housekeeping less than adequate. Rude, nasty hard to get extra towels or a blanket.

I am eighty years old & have stayed at many hotels in my life & in a number of countries. This September my wife had her 55th school reunion at the Embassy suites in Arcadia, & I have to say this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. Most of her associates grew up in the Pasadena area in California, so there are many hotels to select from in that general vicinity. However the gentleman than organized the reunion did in my opinion a wonderful job in selecting this hotel. To start wit... Read more

We just spend 5 nights at this Embassy Suite because my son was driving the Formula Drift Event at Irwindale Speedway. The hotel might have been a bit older, but everything was very nice! The room was a very nice size and was ALWAYS clean when we returned from the track. We heard no outside noises and were able to sleep very comfortably. The complimentary breakfast was very good and a good way to start the day. Parking was very easy and convenient. The staff was friendly and very helpful. L... Read more

Reservations were not updated after care was taken to advise clerks of names of guests by phone...so when guests arrived they were told to pay on their own credit cards or were turned away. I was pulled away from my fun reunion event to go to the front desk to straighten things out. Annoying and embarrassing since the rooms were a gift!

This hotel is very nice. The room was very spacious and slept 5 people very comfortably. We especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The evening reception was okay, but not as good as others we've experienced. The restaurant food was also good, but a little pricey. Nice hotel for business travelers, but we were traveling with family for vacation.

Our 50th year class reunion was held in this hotel. This wouldn't have been my choice for the class reunion but I was on the committee. It is a nice hotel. My room was clean I had a king bed, it was a suite. The bathroom was a little weird the door was in the way of the toilet, a sliding door would have been better. The hotel on a whole is clean. They have a restaurant and room service and a gift shop.

Was quite disappointed to find out I was placed in a smoking room despite reservation's clear preference after a late night arrival from LAX. Hotel was full, so no options. Front desk offered to have maintenance deodorize room, but no follow-up on commitment. Room had a clear hole in suite-bedroom door that appeared covered up with similar color tape, tub faucet leaded badly through whole stay despite notice first morning, and tub paint was cracking/chipping off.

I honestly want to give this hotel a 4 or 5 but the hotel is in really poor shape. Great customer does help out a place but when your bathroom is rusted and the shower head falls off, yes it fell off you can not come back from that. Overall our room was a one bedroom and there were stains on the ceiling, chairs and our bedsheets. If you check into this hotel, you will have a good location to head to glendale or LA and a really personable staff, but being in the room we felt like it was not th... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights and we were very happy with our spacious suite. The hotel is a little outdated in decor but was very clean and charming and the waterfall and koi pond were delightful. Breakfast was included and was delicious with a good variety. I must mention the exceptional service from Ruben who drove us several times in the courtesy shuttle. He was helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble for him and he the service was impeccable.

I stayed two nights, two months in a row for business. Decent, slightly outdated version of embassy suites. I've stayed in many other of their hotels and would consider rooms here to be in need of a refresh. Had to be moved to a new room my first visit when my first room had water literally running down a pipe on to carpet in bedroom. Indoor pool is nice and breakfast and evening reception workers very nice and friendly-makes up for some other minor repair issues. . Front desk people friendly b... Read more

Location of hotel GREAT! Experience and my visit in the area including Los Angeles GREAT! BUT The hotel itself was OKAY! Looks great on inside, very lovely actually... but once you stay there you will soon learn its an older hotel and things do break down. Very dated hotel. No fitted sheets on bed, only a flat sheet laying on top of mattress. Bites on leg and back. Any good pictures you see of this hotel are not accurate. It is time for a massive refurbishment. Carpet is old and dirty, metal door frames in the bathrooms are rusted, curtains frayed, etc. Not to mention the shower heads that are at chest level, this is a key indication of the age of the bathrooms. The manager, George Papavasiliou, is extremely unprofessional. We already had two rooms and had requested a third room at a discounted rate. We wanted to add a room since the rooms are smalle...
