"I did not like this place first of all are room wasn't ready. when we got there. and the people at the front desk did not have a smile they look like they just wanted u out of there hair. I'm a smoker and i didn't like that i had a room downstairs and i had to go up stairs just to smoke. What kinda of thing is that. and the rooms did not smell clean at all. I would not go back there again."

"We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The only down side when we first got in was a smell in the room as many motels have. We picked up an air freshener from Target and that took care of the problem. Other than that house keeping always had things cleaned up nicely when we got back in and we enjoyed the swimming pool and spa. One improvement could be the wi-fi connection. I brought my Apple TV to watch some movies while in the room but the wi-fi connection was so slow that I couldn't stream anything."

"We arrived and had a pleasant welcome from the front desk clerk. Lugged our bags up flight of stairs (no elevator) to our room. Nice room; family room with bunk bed separate. Woke up each morning to yelling kids/parents going up and down the walkway outside our room- NO INSULATION from any noises. Street noises sound like they're in your room.

Breakfast was not up my alley but I like healthy food. Donuts, sugary cereal, waffle maker, fake (powdered) eggs, white bread, white bagels, no real cream for coffee- powdered 'creamer'. These things may not matter to you, but I didn't enjoy the breakfast. VERY crowded dining area.

Their site says they're 'blocks from Disneyland'. That's a 1/4 mile block I guess; it's one mile walking. No free shuttle from the hotel.

Basically I woke up everyday from other people's kids, not my own and need to sleep now that I'm home!

Great staff, very friendly and helpful when we mentioned the noisy neighbours. Just no insulation between rooms or to the outside."

"The hotel is being completely renovated, and they are doing a very nice job! My room was recently done, and the only negative is that the new carpet and wallpaper smell still remains. After running the fan and air conditioner for awhile, it wasn't as noticeable. The bed was very comfortable, and the room includes a small microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful, especially considering the price of the room, with eggs and sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, donuts and other pastries, etc. They are renovating several family-type rooms that will hold 6 quite comfortably, so for families on a limited budget who are visiting Disneyland, this will be a great choice."

"Nice older hotel close to Disneyland. Front office staff very helpful and nice. The breakfast service very good. Nice variety of hot and cold choices. Area kept clean. Rooms attended to daily with clean sheets and towels. Loved the two bath suite with bunk beds. We had 6 of us and it made getting ready easy."

"We stay for 2 nights. We stay in one bath-room suite with two bump beds and two queen beds for 6 of us. We got free breakfast in the morning it was worth it like that you didn't have to pay for breakfast in the morning we got up extra early to bet the crowd. The carpet was nasty, the bath room need some up data well all the room did. I didn't know they came and clean the room we did our beds and they still made them again and they took my towel the one I brought from home. I would stay here if they update their rooms. It kind of smells funny in the room with the two bump beds. Next time I go to Disneyland I will spend a little more to stay in a better hotel."

"Nothing to brag about. In good location. Not spectacular but did the trick for one night stay. Hotel claimed to be overbooked on standard 2 queen rooms. They didnt explain that we were placed in a suite because they didnt have standard rooms available. instead, housekeeping came to our room demanding to lock part of the room or we can go to the front desk to upgrade for more $. Unfortunately, the bathroom was being occupied and I felt insulted as housekeeping just stood there waiting. If they placed us in such a room and it wasn't going to used, why not upgrade for free like any other reputable hotel? I felt pressured to pay. I questioned it all because they told me it would $50 tax and when they saw I was insulted they charged me $40 tax. It pained me to pay it. Not the amount, the principle."

"One of the tv didn't work and was replaced with another. Carpets are dirty. Bathtub needs to be cleaned. I went to use one of the laundry machine to wash my whites, but the machine uses only cold water, which the stains on the clothes didn't come out. We stayed for 13 nights. I had neck pains because the pillows were uncomfortable and small square ones not long, which I thought was strange. I won't be staying there again.

"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was a good location to get on the shuttle to Disneyland and the family size room included bunk beds which fit our family great! We didn't try the pool. The breakfast was amazing and had so many choices. Parking was easy which was a bonus also!"

"This place was Great!!! Yes it is more that a block away, but there is a bus that picks you up at the Hotel Next Door. The Cost is Four Bucks for Adults. The Beds were Comfortable, clean. The Breakfast is no Continental Breakfast. They Serve Cereal,Toast,Bagels,Eggs,Waffles,sausage,Donuts. You also get to make your own Waffles. It's like a small Restaurant that you eat for Free. It saved us Like 50 dollars. They had something for the whole Family. I went down and got some fruit for my 2yr old Daughter, and apple Juice. It may not be the Hilton, but Wow this place was great."

"Breakfast hall is disgusting, not organized at all, people has to wait for food to come out of the kitchen always as the trays and platter are always empty. tables are so so dirty no one is there to clean it after every one. You have to use the dirty table to eat after who has used it earlier and dropped so many things on it. So much people in such small place not enough even for 10 to be seated. Food is not enough, always there is not food if you go at 8 or at 9 its the same, people has to wait in line up for 20 minutes to toast one bread as only one toaster there to be used with 300 persons. Breakfast stops at 9:00AM you have to get up early and rush yourself to go and pick what left from breakfast (that if you find anything left to be eaten). I believe its not a good place for vacation, its noisy and not so clean, they did not do vacum for the room for the 10 days we stayed there, carpets are so so dirty, if you walk with no slipper your feet become black in a minute. I don't recommend this hotel as a vacation hotel for families. At least the swimming pool should be clean, but it was so dirty which we could not use it any time. Hope they change their service to match the charges they take for the room."

"This is not within a block of Disneyland as I had been lead to believe. It's a looooong walk. Room was ok, bed was comfortable and linens were clean and fresh. Tub could have used a big scrubbing. On our last night there someone tried to enter our room at midnight by ripping off the window screen while we were sleeping. It woke us up. When we asked the front desk to call police he said that he had seen someone around and asked home to leave. I do not think police were ever called... We were never given any consideration regarding this and manager has never tried to contact us for an explaination or an apology as to what occurred. The outside screen was a total disaster and was in the office the next morning and we saw the maintainence person taking it out to the shop to see if it could be repaired."

"Exterior corridors; built in the 70's most likely; about three long Anaheim city blocks from the corner of Disney - NOT walking distance if you're going to be there from opening to closing; traffic noise is noticeable except in rooms to the back of the lot; lots of complimentary parking; unattractive property, overall, but there are much worse; room interior was worn, but reasonably clean; looks like it was renovated about four years ago (in the 2000's, at least); wear flip-flops inside as the rug looks the worse for wear; the property is a low-end 'budget' choice, typical of comfort Inns, though it's better than the last comfort Inn; breakfast was okay, though get there early to get a seat; use the Anaheim Resort Transit to get to Disney (the bus stop is about 50 meters from the property; got a mid $50/day rate so we've no complaints as we only slept there. Assessment: Again, with the rate, we've no complaints, but we would pick a different property for the next trip. If you've not stayed here before, you're budget conscious, and you're going to spend all day at Disney, then by all means consider this property, and you'll do all right. I was a HHonors Diamond for years, so that's my perspective. I'll admit to being a hotel snob."

"Overall it was a great place to stay. My only issue was if you have a room that is towards the front of the hotel close to Harbor you will hear all of the traffic going by. I would have preferred a room further back away from Harbor if I had known it was going to be so loud."

"This hotel was incredibly dirty, and felt very unsafe. We stayed here for a few nights, and during that time observed some interesting things in regards to housekeeping. When the housekeepers would come to work, many would bring their significant others to work with them.

These people would hang around outside by the pool, on benches by the front office, and picnic tables located outside the breakfast room. Whats more.. they would sit around and stare at guests as they came and went. There is no security, and it's very evident. If you park on the backside of the hotel by the restaurant be VERY careful. There's not much parking, so if you get back to the hotel late, you WILL have to park there.

As for the cleanliness, it's what you would typically expect in a cheap hotel. Clipped toenails on the carpet.. smudges on the television sets and flat surfaces, and strange smells, and disgusting stained furniture. The walking surfaces outside are so filthy, you hate to even walk on them, and for sure don't want to set your luggage down on them. I wouldn't let my kids swim in the dirty and cloudy looking pool, for fear that they would get ear infections.

The continental breakfast was cut and dry, but not the worst I've ever seen. The office staff I dealt with on the dates we stayed (7-15 through 7-18) were very nice and professional. If it weren't for them, I would have absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel.

I learned my lesson, and am willing to pay double the price next time to stay at a place where my family will be safe. It's true, you absolutely get what you pay for."

"After a hard day at Disneyland with rain and coldness (and two very tired little girls) we checked in at the Comform Inn (along with many other families ending their day) and found the comfort and cleanlienss we left back at home. The mirrors were smudgless (one of my 'things'); extra blankets and more than enough towels for the five of us for showers that night and also more showers in the morning. Coffee in our room and then a delightful breakfast prior to us getting back on the road...this will now be our only place to stay when we go to Disneyland and also will check out other Comfort Inns when other motel accomodations are needed."

"This hotel was okay. It wasn't really fancy. Just a basic regular hotel. The ART shuttle goes right by which is very convenient, although I have to say some days we seemed to wait more than 20 minutes. The room was very clean and was kept very clean. The breakfast was really good, but most days very crowded. All the staff were very nice. The pool and hot tub are open until 11pm. Laundry was disappointing, there were only two washer and dryers."

"This was our first trip to Disneyland, my 4 and 6 year old sons, a friend and me. We did not know where to stay, so we tried a site called Bookit.com and Comfort Inn Maingate came up. We selected a two room suite, one just for the boys on bunk beds and the other with two queens for my friend and me.



Each room had own own bathroom; and there was a microwave, and mini fridge as well. The rooms were large and well appointed. The seperate rooms allowed the children to go to bed without too much hassle. There was ample space to walk around and the maid service was impectible. The breakfast offerings were more than I could imagine for the price we paid for the room.
The location was wonderful and they even offered a shuttle to and from Disneyland for a nominal fee - less than parking would have cost.
It was a REAL DEAL! I will stay there again every time. Try this one and you won't stay anywhere else."

"Enjoyed our stay here. Not the plushest of places, but certainly nothing wrong here.

All staff we encountered couldn't have been nicer. Enjoyed the pool, the breakfast, fridge in room, the price and the two room family accommodation.

"Plenty of parking. There is a lot behind the hotel, and in front of the hotel. We stayed at 100% occupancy and there were many open spots. The beds were comfortable, small refrigerator, and microwave. Nice breakfast set up... Scrambled eggs, waffles, yogurt, pastries, juices. Very nice staff. 3 BLOCKS AWAY FROM DISNEY (VERY LARGE BLOCKS). Not walkable. Bucca di Beppos, and Denny's within the block."
