Stayed here for a trip to Disneyland. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were clean and adequate for families. Outside swimming pool was great for the kids. Too far to walk to Disneyland but just a short drive to parking and a free shuttle from there. Great shuttle service back to your car. Try the Italian restaurant next to the hotel, absolutely amazing!

Staff are extremely pleasant, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Rooms are modern and clean. Only a 15 minute walk to Disney, but shuttle bus also available. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide range of hot and cold selections. *BONUS* An amazing view of the Disney fireworks directly from my 2nd floor balcony where you can set out a chair to watch. A very safe location to walk to and from Disney, I felt comfortable walking even late in evening.

Let me start of by saying that the hotel itself is actually pretty nice. We were pleasantly surprised at the rooms, they were clean and renovated. However, the neighbourhood that it is located is super sketchy. My sister and I did not feel comfortable waiting for the ART bus, as we were constantly being approached by locals, and drug addicts, and people asking us if we were here alone. We read a ton of reviews on this hotel and were both shocked that no one said anything about the neighbourhood.... Read more

Hotel claims i's within walking distance to Disneyland but it is not. you need to drive your car and pay parking or pay for shuttle. wished it was closer to Disneyland too far for our 6 year old grandkids to walk and for us to walk especially after a long day spent at the park.

We have just returned from my grandchildrens 1st trip to Disneyland, and for the first time in my 60 years of age, I am loaded with bedbug bites, I am so miserable, I have traveled extensively and this is a first. I was in room 239! Also the shuttle they advertise is actually the RTA (public transportation) $5 for adults $3 for children, Disneyland is NOT walking distance. Don't let housekeeping in my room when traveling, but I usually exchange my towels when they are in the hallway, I handed... Read more

The ramada main gate north was an excellent stay on our recent trip to Disneyland. 20 minute walk from Disneyland or a 5 minute bus ride (Anaheim resort transportation $5). Clean and comfortable rooms and a decent continental breakfast. You can watch the nightly fireworks from the parking lot. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was great for our quick Disneyland trip. The beds were a little too firm for my comfort, but everyone else in my family slept fine. There is a small pool, nothing fancy. The fireworks show was really loud, and startled us at first. The nearby ART shuttle to Disneyland is convenient. (Yes, it's in front of a liquor store, but my family never saw anything unsettling/suspicious.) The neighborhood is no worse than any other city street.

We enjoyed our stay the bed and Roman was comfortable it was a very handy location to Disneyland and some food outlets. Ample parking and I enjoyed a swim in a nice clean pool. The only fault the carpet and flooring was dirty. You had to wear shoes or else your feet or socks got filthy. Possibly residue from the car park or heavy foot traffic but the flooring should be properly cleaned not just vacuumed. Nice complimentary toiletries were offered. Best of all, it is right next to another hotel which is was on the bus line to disney so it was very easy to get to disney early and come back late. We have just spent 5 nights and couldn't fault the hotel. Arrived early from Australia and our rooms were ready by 11. Rooms were clean and of a good size. Beds were comfortable and there is a laundry on siteThere is a pool but we didn't use it as we were at Disneyland the whole time. There are service stations and a liquor/ mini market close by. While I've stayed in a number of hotels, this was the first time I'd done so with my infant daughter & it was an interesting experience. First, what they did right: the staff we interacted with were all very courteous & friendly, & the room was clean. Mixed blessing: the hotel is VERY close to Disneyland. We weren't there for the theme park, but you pay more because of the location, &, on nights they have fireworks, they are VERY loud. Downsides: it was extremely hot the day we checked in,... This motel is not quite as close to Disneyland as I thought. It's isn't just a short walk, but a mile and three tenths, up an overpass. Walking there would have been fine, but a walk back to the motel at 11 p.m., just is not feasible for us. However, the ART bus #10 was maybe 20 feet from our room and dropped us off right in front of Disneyland. It costs $5 a day per person and is well worth it. This motel is just a few minutes (by car) and within walking distance of Disneyland. Given the outrageous prices for hotels this close, this is not a terrible option. If you really only need the place for sleeping, showering, etc. because you want to be at the park(s) from open to close, it is a clean, no frills place. Otherwise, I would not recommend.

we were going to Disneyland and the hotel was about a mile away, so you could either walk or take the city bus . For the money the hotel was worth it.

Stayed here for 9 nights and it was very nice, it's about 20 mins walk to Disney of which you don't really think you have walked that long..the rooms were very clean, towels were changed and bed made every day..had a small pool but was nice. You can see fireworks from disney.. Breakfast included is topped up all morning, but is only toast waffles cereal, tea coffer so don't expect a large breakfast.. Worth the money people always expect more for there money, but if your not fussy then this is id... Read more

We've spent 4 nights there. It's about 20 minutes walk from Disney land (that's with a 5 year old kid), and just by a shuttle to Disney. The rooms are big and clean. There's a minibar and a microwave in the room. The pool seems nice. The dining room is very small and we always found it crowded. The food is very simple - fruits, cereal, waffles and juice. The cutlery and fishes are plastic. It could use decent cutlery and dishes and water... but serves the purpose of "refueling" before the long d... Read more

We stayed with a family of 4 in Sept 2016 and I was extremely happy, would highly recommend. They upgraded us to a bigger room so we could get a cot so our kids didn't have to sleep together (small charge to do so) but we were happy they could do that. We arrived 3 hours early to check in as we just came from getting off a cruise ship and they worked quickly to ready a room for us so we could head straight to Disneyland. They have an excellent free breakfast with fresh fruit, waffle machine... Read more

I felt like this Ramada charges to much for what it was worth. It smelt very musty and the towels were horrible. We decided to wait until we got home to shower.

I highly recommend staying here! The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. They also offer a very good breakfast every morning! Our family was there to go to Disneyland which was in easy walking distance or you can buy bus passes which work great as well. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful!

Great for travelling to Disneyland!! Shuttle service is pretty good and is right at the corner. Breakfast is okay but room is small and one morning a team got there first and there was no room for us! Room is good size and the staff is very helpful. Everything went smoothly and we were there for 8 nights.

Booked through Hotwire so I did not know what I was getting until I paid. When I found out the property I booked was this place, I was disappointed because I stayed at a Ramada before and did not have the best experience. We arrived on a Saturday around 11am and was told we could not check in early until 1:30pm. We came back at 1:30 and immediately got our room. I was expecting a stinky, old room.. but the room we got was clean and updated. The bathroom looked like it was recently renovated. The... Read more

I asked for early check in was told no rooms ready then 5 mins later a room magically appeared. While searching picked this location because they offered transportation back and forth to Disney. Come to find out that there was only a shuttle bus and it cost to ride. The towels were so dingy I had to go to store to buy my own towels. The mattresses if they haven't been replaced they need to be. There are no elevators so if your disabled or have some physical challenges you need to be sure to mak... Read more

After years of visiting Disneyland with our kids in tow, my wife and I decided to visit sans children. This hotel, while not the fanciest, was perfect for what we wanted. Clean rooms, quick access to the ART, and free parking. The frond desk staffer, Laura, was INCREDIBLY helpful. We had erred in part of our reservation, and she was able to correct it right away. We were very impressed. Our room was a typical hotel room, and if we had brought our children, we would have needed another to comfort... Read more

My family and I planned a trip for mid-October. We were forced to delay our trip to another time, and this property location did not have the same room available for our intended period. Although our room was successfully cancelled for the mid-October trip. For some reason we were charged for a single day later in the month, for a period we neither reserved nor stayed at the hotel. After calling the hotel, I was told to send an email. I sent an email and received no response almost a week later... Read more

The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were clean for us every night, they brought up more pillows when we asked for them. Gave us more shampoo and conditioner when we needed it. The Continental breakfasts in the morning were perfect. The staff were friendly and very approachable. It was our first family vacation out of Country and it will be remembered always.

Picked this hotel for its location to Disneyland thats only a mile away also the hotel is on an Bus route that drops you in the heart of the Disney downtown district. The hotel itself in nice with Lovely large rooms with the standard room add on of Fridge and Microwave and a comfortable bed that after a full day at the Park is very very welcome. If you plan a trip to Anaheim this is a good chose.

After making my reservations more than a month in advance, I was surprised to get two rooms the furthest from the hotel lobby. They were quiet, though sort of isolated. Thank goodness my wife and daughter weren't too upset. Friday morning must've been pretty busy, since they closed breakfast earlier than posted. We walked a mile to the entrance to Disneyland, so I'm not sure where the Anaheim Maingate is.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a convention. Average hotel tried to update but bathroom was a mess with mold on ceiling. Spend a little more to be closer at a nicer hotel. If price is a problem it would work in a pinch.

A few complaints: I booked on hotels.com and apparently if you book with hotels.com and get a standard room you don't get a refridgerator in your room. That is what the front desk told me anyway. The hot breakfast consisted of a batter dispenser and a waffle iron, we ate fast food down the street. Both my wife and myself absolutely hated the bed, unusual for both of us to be unhappy with a bed. It is an ok location for Disneyland and the price was decent.

I booked here last year for a race as it was a cheaper location and expected to "get what I paid for", but was pleasantly surprised at this hotel! Clean, friendly, fantastic location...everything I could have asked for. Only one suggestion....there are no refrigerators in the rooms. That would be PERFECT...but NO COMPLAINTS!!

Hotel was very noisy and fairly outdated but all around a good hotel for the area and very affordable. Not too far from Disney, it is definitely walk-able but quite the trek. Bus station right out front takes you to Disney if needed and all the way up to the Anaheim Packing District. Breakfast is free so can't really complain but nothing too fancy. I would love to comment on the reception staff. So friendly and extremely helpful from the second we arrived to the second we left. Definitely a goo... Read more
