"This hotel was a very nice place to stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to the maingate but they do offer a shuttle service for a small fee if you want to use that. It is very homey and welcoming. In the evenings you will find families hanging out at the pool and bar downstairs. The fireworks from Disneyland are like right there. The closest view we have ever had. It is just a really fun family oriented friendly place to stay. Well worth the price paid for it. We will stay again."

"Our stay at hotel m�nage was very nice. Staff was very friendly and quick to help you. The price was great (compared to any Disneyland resort hotel) and the walk was nothing to complain about. It's about a 15 minute walk to the front gates of Disneyland or California adventure. The hotel room was very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be staying here from now on when we go to Disneyland."

"This was our second (and final!) time at the Menage. The one plus is the walking distance to Disneyland. The hotel appears to be well maintained, but I believe that is due to the constant presence of workers. The room was clean enough, no complaints there. However, the layout is terrible. It's really not all that comfortable sitting sideways on the toilet! The worst for me was the wooden frame around the bed. I did figure it out by the third day, but still came home with two purple toes. Last visit, I didn't really notice the freeway noise, but this time was put on the 4th floor, end room...SOO LOUD!
Two years ago, the restaurant had a pretty decent snack menu at reasonable prices...not so this time. And don't get me started about the breakfast buffet! Talk about slim pickin's! The two slices of bacon floating in a half inch of grease were left there for 20 minutes before more was dumped on top. The watermelon (my fav), never replenished. If you're looking for WiFi (free or otherwise), forget it! The icing on the cake: At checkout, we were told we owed $10/night for parking. We had someone pick us up, not spend the night. I was told it would be adjusted but 'we have ways of checking'! Like I'm some kind of common criminal trying to get over on 30 bucks...REALLY?! So done with that!"

"My review is rather mixed, so let's start with the positive:

The hotel has nice curb appeal, and the lobby is gorgeous. The staff is very friendly (though unhelpful as noted below). If anything, it sets a high level of expectation when you get to the room. The room itself was 'OK', nothing spectacular but then a good value when you consider the discounted price.

Now for the negatives: The elevator needs renovating in the worst way; it had a musty odor, broken ceiling tiles and worn interior siding. The interior layout of the bathroom was poor, I'd be surprised if they haven't had a history of towels and wash clothes falling into the toilet (poor placement of the towel rack). A bath mat would have been nice too. The room lighting was poor.

What I found most disappointing was the wifi Internet service. I stayed for a total of 4 days/3 nights; the first day I complained about the wifi service not working and was told that they'd look into it. That evening I tried again and failed to get access. I was told by another person at the desk that they had ongoing problems but they'd fix it. The second day I was told it would be fixed that afternoon. Naturally the night it still didn't work, and the night manager somehow thought my complaint was funny (she was the nervous sort and laughed at inappropriate times). I was also told that wifi was 'a complimentary service' so therefore I should just put up with it (which is a lie, all complimentary services at a hotel are built into the price... there are no free lunches). The third day they said someone would come to fix it. On the fourth and final day it still didn't work, but I was told that they'd look into it (again).

In sum, decent hotel for the discounted price, friendly staff, utterly useless management, and perpetually broken wifi.

Would I recommend it? I'm not sure. If you are on a working vacation, then I would definitely never recommend it. If you're on vacation and don't care about Internet access then it is a decent value."

"Checked in for 2 night stay and a disneyland trip. The overall hotel was not the high class place the website photos made it out to be. But it did have a very modern look and was very tasteful and enjoyable. The room had a king bed and queen sofa sleeper and was very spacious. Very clean and well kept also.

In reading yelp reviews, others have complained of the excessive traffic noise and fireworks. Let me say this is not the case. Our room was located the closest to the freeway and while standing on the walkway or in the parking lot, the traffic was sometimes unbearable. But as soon as the hotel door was closed, traffic was nowhere to be heard. As for the fireworks, the intensity of the sound was a bit on the louder side, even within the room. But at the same time, regular disneyland fireworks are at 9:30 pm and only last 10 mins, so it does not bother normal sleeping times.

Overall the interior design of all facilities (room, lobby, lounge, pool area), are very modern and contemporary and do well in making this hotel stand apart from the ordinary run of the mill cheap hotels in the area while providing a reasonable price much lower than the more well known Hotels.

All in all, definitely worth the price and worth a good recommendation"

"Love location in relation to disney...easy walk. however had an additional fee for parking by night which I didn't see anywhere when I booked it. Also, I selected a room with two queen beds and we had a pull out for one of them, which was fine, but very uncomfortable for the 2 staying in that bed. Service was okay. Bathroom space/prep area was not idea for more than 2 people and also there was only 1 mirror."

"I must commend whom ever designed the hotel (more of a motel) web page as they seemed to capture the few redeeming qualities of this motel. Upon entering we were greeted with extremely loud music as there was a celebration coming from the ball room that sounded as if it were taking place in the lobby itself.
The loud music could also be heard from our rooms (booming base) and after several calls to front desk we were informed the music would end at midnight.

In the morning we were given complementary breakfast for the inconvenience.
One of the highlights posted for this motel was the fabulous restaurant. We didn't have the opportunity to experience this as it was under construction. In its stead they had a make shift restaurant in the lobby which served a $13.95 breakfast buffet that offered airplane quality food. Also the tables were so close together another guest backed up his chair into a large decorative vase breaking it.
On a positive note, the motel is within walking distance of Disneyland and does have a nice view of the fireworks. The staff was also very nice and accommodating."

"The rooms were just not quite up to our liking. The lighing at the bathroom sink was very dim. The chair at the desk had tears. Our sheets had to be changed upon arrival because they had hair all over them. In all fairness, they did respond very quickly in changing the sheets. The bed was comfortable. "Perfect hotel for a trip to Disneyland. When we arrived early around 9:30 AM valet service gentleman was extremely nice and helpful. The normal check-in time is 3:00 PM however the valet gentleman suggested we try and do an early check-in anyway. As soon as we arrived at 9:30 AM we were in our hotel room at 10:00 AM no problems whatsoever. The hotel staff were so very kind and courteous throughout our stay and we even got a late check out at 1:00 PM instead of 12:00 PM. The pool was like a luke warm gigantic bathtub however the spa was not hot as that would be the ONLY thing we noticed that needed to be looked at. Overall experience was outstanding! This hotel is highly recommended!"

"I was very impressed with this hotel. I was looking for a quick get away to take my daughter to Disneyland for her first time and finally check it off my 'to do list'! The room was REALLY nice with very comfortable beds. The work out room was more than I had hoped for and the pool area was a blast. I was thinking for our three nights we would eat at the parks or a few nearby restaurants, however I loved the food at the so much at the hotel we ate there for almost every meal. "We just spent two nights at Hotel Menage. The hotel allows pets on the first floor level rooms. They removed the wall to wall carpet because of allowing pets. There was a large rug in the couch area. The room was spacious with tall ceilings, the bathroom was very clean with a big shower head. The hotel was located a short walk to Disneyland. The staff was very nice. The hotel is located on a corner adjacent to the freeway and between two busy streets. With the air conditioner on you didn't hear any outside noise. Our goal was to spend as much time at Disneyland so I can't comment about the pool area or the restaurant. The price through Bookit was great. All in all it was an okay place to stay. "

"The hotel was well worth the price. The staff is friendly, courteous & helpful. I noticed a few employees concerned with cleanliness by picking up pieces of paper on the floor or counter when just walking by. The room was bigger than I thought, but the toilet/shower room was small - would be better if the bathroom door opened outward, not inward. We had an issue with the shower head & the manager seemed very concerned about delivering great customer service. We were delighted upon return to the room EVERY day that the beds were fully made & staged with our son's stuffed animals and toy cars as if racing on the bed - a great magical touch! The walk to Disneyland was acceptable/doable - just over a sometimes busy freeway. The shuttle is available & you can charge it to the room to make it even easier! And, yes, Starbucks is located right across the street:)"

"First, the staff was fantastic and helpful and very attractive.,,secondly the noise was deafening. I heard the freeway and the sound of sirens...at one point I thought I heard gunfire but so thankful it was only the fireworks with a display so close I could have caught fire. Yet prety. Room was outdated, bathroom was dirty and walls are thin and I can't believe it is a 3.5 star rating. Good food in resteraunt but understaffed and my great waiter was busy. Kudos to a staff that is a the backbone of this place, I would have left had it not been for them."

"The Hotel was very nice. The valet gentlemen were friendly every time we walked in or out they opened the door and greated us. The lobby decor had a hip las vegas feel. Lounge had a cozy comfy feel and the night ambiance put you in a relaxing mood. (even the entertainment ie: singer was good)
The rooms were clean and well kept. Nice decor with the leather head board and dark wood matched the las vegas feel.
The resturant was the bomb. The food was very delicious and very appealing to the eye. Happy Hour had some great drinks to choose from.
My only disliking was the front desk they were sooooo busy with calls that they could not fully concentrate on you.

"Hotel Menage has everything for you to enjoy yourselves. Restaurant, Pool, Bar and Disneyland within walking distances! Staff was very friendly. Room was nice and clean. Air conditioner was a little loud and you could hear the freeway. But not bad enough to stop us from coming back. We would definitiely stay her again."
