"The Clarion was one of the worst accomodations I have ever stayed in. Firstly it was rated as a 3.5 star hotel & it was more like 2. The facilites appeared decent in the lobby but rooms were an outdated uncomfortable mess from early 1980's. The curtains were tattered. The beds were like rocks the pillows were hard & seemed saturated in sweat then dryed up. It was unacceptable. When we got into the room we had no bath towels & I had to call the front desk 2 times to get some. The are no ammenties available after 10pm. No food or availble no room service & the bar all closed at 10 pm. The vending machine was partiall depleted as well. I paid $87.00 dollars a night & could of stayed at the Marriott adjacent to the hotel for a few dollars more. They provided a gift store room service late & full bar to the guest. The whole purpose was to save & money be a block from our theme park as this site stated & it was actually more like 4 blocks & we had to pay $20.00 for our family a day to travel to our theme park. Very disapointed. I felt I was not given honest information & wont stay at this hotel in the future."

"I have stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and it was great. However 5 years later they need nicer staff, update the rooms, phones that work, elevators that move quicker as well. A dryer that actually dries clothes on the first try. The room was always clean no complaints about house keeping. The front desk staff we not nice and not helpful the washer and dryer isn't that great. I did a load of laundry and it wasn't a full load however I still had to pay twice to dry my clothes that's $4 bucks to dry. And when I went to front desk to ask for more quarters because the dryer didn't dry the load on the first try that front desk didn't apologize or try to make things right. They only give you 20 minutes of local calling but the phones don't work for you to call out and when you call front desk to ask for assistance they say give them 30 seconds and try again. I tried for 2 days and still didn't work. Then I went down to front desk to use the phone they said I had to use the phone in my room. I told them I would if it worked. There was a weird odor in the hallway that would come into the room some days. The restaurant is OK however they need more staff to help when it's busy. Most days it took a lot longer to get my order because there was only one person working. The walk to Disneyland is not that bad. I don't mind walking but this hotel needs to train their staff in customer service and needs a major renovations done. I would not go back to this hotel. The price was great from bookit.com but I will not stay here again."

"It was the worst place to stay in Aneheim. The first day I was there, we had gotten back from Disneyland, very tired and we found that our sheets, bed , and floor was covered in glitter and the top bed spread had food stains on it. I called the desk and was put on hold for 10 min. I hung up and called back and was put on hold again. I tried to get a hold of the desk 4 different times and finally yelled when the girl at the desk tried to put me on hold again. They sent some guy up from house cleaning around 15 minutes later, and he took all the sheets, pillows, mattress pad, and bed spread. I was surprised that he didn't have replacements with him. 25 minutes later, I had to call the desk again which took many attempts, and they sent 3 woman from house cleaning up after about another 15 minute wait. I didn't understand them, but they looked like the three stooges in woman form and kept saying sorry. I didn't see the nice thick mattress pad and when I asked, they said their weren't anymore and they would try and get me one tomorrow. The TV in our room was so dark, you could hardly see the picture, again I called the desk and they sent up a guy around 20 minutes later who knew nothing on how to work it. He left and said he would get the manual for the TV and we never saw him again. We got replacement towels in our room the next day and their were holes in it. This was terrible for 150$ a day. I wouldn't spend one cent here ever again."

"the place was clean, there was a strong smell of urine in between the bed and the desk. I told the desk and they immediately tried to fix it. When I got back, the smell was still there but not as strong. However, when something comes up they will immediately try to fix things. The staff are very nice and accommodating. We arrived early and she checked us in without extra charges. Will definitely stay there again."

Enjoyed our stay. Could see top of Disney fireworks from our room. Maid service was good. Location was great, right across the street from Disney parking area.
In house restaurant had potential but needs updating desperately
in decor and comfort, several benches were torn and not repaired.
Poor service and quality of meal was poor at best. Should have realized by the appearance that eating there would be a mistake.

Hotels double bed fitted bottom sheets need to be bought larger as they didn't quite fit the beds. Bedspreads were a little heavy to be use as an extra cover.

Services provided by hotel personnel was good."

I felt that the hotel could do with some updating, though I am sure most of the hotels in that area are in the same situation. We had a couple of issues with one of our rooms, and they upgraded both of our rooms to suites without us even asking. The staff were really nice and tired to help you. It was close enough that we choose to walk to and from the park, but the ART was right outside the hotel as well."

"My Family and I checked in on a Friday, the front desk was fast and efficient and the lobby is nice but when we got into our room my wife and I were a little disappointed. The room which was the 2 double bed suite was seriously dated, the air conditioner took literally a day to cool down our room, the tile in the bathroom was yellow and cracked! The restaurant downstairs off of the lobby was horrible we ate there for breakfast the 1st morning we were there and did not return for a second meal. They have a special where kids eat free but somehow our tab still came out to 30.00! Definitely over priced for the quality of food. The Plus sides are the pool, it's nice and they have plenty of seating and shade, the adjoining room was perfect especially because we were traveling with my sister and her family so we able to open the doors and the kids could run in and out of both rooms. The beds/pilows were comfy although the bedding was also dated. I would recommend this hotel if your not planning on spending too much time in the room and if your wanting to be close to the Disneyland Parks."

"We book a blind deal for a room at a 3 star resort hotel within 1 block of Disneyland. The hotel is in reality 2.5 blocks (15 minutes on foot) from the entrance gate and listed as 2 blocks on the hotels own description. The room is distressed, though clean. The sink is in poor condition by appearance and our room window looks out onto a wall. The TV is dark and cannot be adjusted any lighter and seems to be getting darker as the sun goes down. Now it can be noted that we got this for a motel price (and that's about what the quality the room is fitted out to) $59 on a Thursday/Friday so I'm not going walk on the deal, but as this is the first time I booked via bookit.com I am disappointed that the deal did not at all live up to the description. If I had booked this room and payed the $100 a night that it normally would normally go for I'd be very displeased indeed.nOn the bright side, the pool though plain seems very nice and the wifi is quick and easy to use. There is a refrigerator in the room that was an unexpected bonus. The staff seemed pretty friendly and efficient. The lobby is nice and lives up to the 3 star rating but once you get into the elevator things go down hill pretty quickly on the quality front."
