Mea Culpa. Or as Willie Wonka said succinctly, "Strike that. Reverse it. Thank you." My first visit and review of this hotel was before the recent renovations. It's still a convention hotel, and prices and crowds vary greatly depending on that, however the public spaces - a large lobby with work stations and plug ins for devices; an inviting restaurant and bar with respectable food and terrific service - are greatly improved. Other plusses include in house Starbucks and a large gym with pretty ... Read more

I was stayed here for a business conference. My room was clean and a good size, but nothing remarkable. Pros: Kinkos was on site and staff was very helpful for some last minute things I needed printed. Starbucks staff was really nice too and made me something that wasn't on the menu. But they close at 6pm, so if you want something in the evening, you'll be out of luck. Gift shop has some cute things at reasonable prices. There is a pool and gym, but I didn't use either. Very corporate feeling a great place to stay if you're going for convention as it is in the heart of Anaheim's convention ally. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable but they do hit you for a lot of add on fees over the price of the room such as parking and Wi-Fi and then there is the $8.5 draft beer.

Overall the Marriott was a wonderful stay and one of the better hotels I have stayed in for business. I was attending a conference by myself for three days and cannot rave enough about the staff, friendly service, knowledgeable, always helping and made my stay a great one. I used the Marriott app to check in and was glad I did - took me less than 2 minutes at the front desk and I didn't have to wait. As a Marriott rewards member I was upgraded to a corner king suite and also had free wifi ... Read more

This is the second time we have stayed at the Anaheim Marriott. I must say, our first visit, a year ago, was much better than the second. That is one reason this hotel got 4 stars. I know it can do better than our stay over Mother's Day weekend. Both times we were there it was for the Disneyland Tinkerbell 1/2 Marathon. Last year we had a nice room in the towers that overlooked the front garden area. This year we were stuck in an ok room that the girl at the check in desk boasted had a balcony. ... Read more

Stayed here for a quick overnight business trip and couldn't have been more pleased. Very pleasant interaction with each and every hotel staff member I encountered. Arrived at 8:30pm and caught a very nice, late dinner at Nfuse sitting outside by the pool. I was given a nice big room on the top floor in the main tower with access to the Concierge Lounge. Beautiful Hotel, Sadly we won't be back. During our visit to the Disneyland park this past Saturday, we returned to find our bags had been pilfered through, while we were out in the park. ( Cleaning Maids??)Not sure what they were looking for, my guess is cash.. I called the front desk to speak with security yet no one returned my phone call. My concern is someone stealing my personal information from my CC and Check book which was in my suitcase. ( ALL my bags were zipped shut when we left to... Read more

We just stayed at the Anaheim Marriott from 5/28-5/31 visiting from Pennsylvania! Our reason for our stay was our engagement trip to Disneyland - this Marriott was one of the nicest I have been to! It's very well kept, clean and the staff were always wonderful and soo friendly!!! The location was also very beneficial to Disneyland and the ART bus was right outside the hotel made it so easy to get on and off the bus for the ride down to the Disneyland Resort... 18th floor was awesome and the room... Despite our rocky start, we had a lovely experience at the Anaheim Marriott. I could see the resort was packed; apparently, the Anaheim Marriott had several basketball teams staying at the same time. When we arrived, we were given keys to a room on the 16th floor; however, the previous guests hadn't checked out yet! How embarrassing! Nevertheless, we were given another room. And the remaining time of our stay met my high Marriott standards. By the way, the bed and linens were exemplary!

The Anaheim Marriott is right next to the Anaheim convention center. It's a pretty standard Marriott but has pizza hut and start bucks inside. I was disappointed that they did not treat their elite check ink line special. In fact I think I got a longer wait. One of the receptionist was good and even remembered my name. We have stayed at this hotel several times and keep going back because it's simply the best hotel in the area. We visit Disneyland a few times a year and the Marriott is within walking distance or you can take the bus right outside the hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The only thing that I find a little strange is that you have to walk through the bar area to get to the pool, just a design flaw but the pool area is nice and plenty of lounge chairs to use :)

The Marriott is, just like the Hilton across from it, well situated for the theme parks. It's set back from the main road to eliminate traffic noise and the staff are helpful. Room service wasn't great in quality but definitely not terrible, but is rather expensive. Wifi is an added expense and doesn't come cheap. I'm not by any means rubbishing this establishment, merely saying that it's an average, comfortable stay.

This hotel has one of the best elevators I've seen. There are 6 of them -- you punch in the floor before entering. Once you get on the elevator, it will only take you to where you want to go. The centralized control system does the 'elevator coordination', so the elevators won't stop by the same floor and maximize the service speed! It's excellent. The Executive Lounge is fine with standard fare. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept -- upto the h... Read more

The rooms and balcony were spacious and clean. The bathroom was small. The wifi connection was really bad in the rooms area but worked fine in the lounge. Quite close to the Disneyland Park, walking distance to downtown Disney.

The hotel is located close to Disneyland Anaheim and other theme parks which is convenient if you are into that sort of thing. The rooms are spacious and clean, reception staff is welcoming and friendly. Wifi is more of a mixed bag and works intermittently. TV reception can also be an issue with no signal on digital channels. Clearly some TV sets need updating. $25 a day for parking is also rather steep.

The first floor king room is so super comfortable! Staff are excellent, but being on the first floor right around the corner from the concierge is divine! Pool to the right, lobby to the left, I felt like the gorgeous entry space was my living room!

Summer vacation with my son. We checked in on a Saturday without delay and had the car valet parked it's $4 more for valet. Had our room upgraded with no charge, we had a high floor with a pool view. The pool is nice (heated) there is a hot tub which was great after a long drive. Restaurant/bar service poolside. After 4 days there we decided to stay an additional 3 days but were told it was sold out and then we were told to check back early in the morning see if anything changed. Much to our del... Read more

The Marriott Anaheim was my most dreadful experience ever - travelling for more than 23 hours on a flight from Australia to attend the American Academy of Management conference -as a Professor who travels the world I cannot tell you how much this hotel spoiled my experience of comfort and pleasure. It was not simply poor service - from the time the bags were left by the Taxi on the Marriott entrance and completely ignored by the staff (two older women in their 60s having to drag them all insi... Very nice people at the front desk. Good customer service. Clean room! Hotel is close to main attractions. We went to Knott's Berry Farm. There's also a Burger King near by and a medieval times restaurant that we didn't have time to check out but will definitely do next time. This is a prime location for the hotel as many nationwide known chain restaurants are near by and it's easy to find. The staff at the Starbucks in the lobby were informative and cordial. We would stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel as a conference attendee, and I was impressed with the great hospitality of virtually everyone I met, from the front desk to the restaurant. While I'm always a little sad when there's no mini-bar full of snacks and tiny adorable bottles of liquor, aside from that the room was perfectly serviceable. It had a decent balcony overlooking the extremely festive pool/outdoor dining area, which was very enjoyable. The housekeeping staff was prompt (I hate coming home at 4pm and th... Read more

The Anaheim Marriott property is directly next to the Anaheim convention center and a block away from Disneyland. Disney also provides a shuttle service to the park. The property itself is typical Marriott quality in terms of service and furnishings, but the actual structure is beginning to look dated. An example would be the physical key operated metal box in the wall that serves as a safe deposit box. Also, the evening noise from the pool dining area could be heard even though the balcony ... Comfortable conference venue, with good loungebar for meeting with people. Great food as well. Wifi was on/off and had to be logged in every time again. Can this be organized differently? Starbucks does not have sufficient capacity at conference time; you have to wait half an hour to order coffee at some times

They had us at "Hello"!!! Even if these rooms were horrible...and they are NOT!!!!... They are superb!!!! The front desk was like family!!! They took time with us!!! I mean TIME!!! Explaining and enticing us with our close and surrounding areas. What love, what cleanliness, what care. Just what my daughter and I needed. We don't know if this will be our last trip together, if it is....we felt loved and appreciated!!! Thank you for your loving kindness! We definitely will stay here again!

We stayed at the Marriott from August 10 to August 15 2016. We attended a business convention at the Anaheim convention centre. Check-in was great and fast. We checked-in through their mobile app before we arrived at the hotel. They have a dedicated booth for mobile check-in. We arrived at our room and discovered a vending machine just besides our door and making a huge noise and the room had 2 double beds. We asked to change room and they accepted. However, they did not have any King bed room... Read more

While this location is an older and dated Marriott location, I thought the service, banquet food quality and rooms were quite fine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping also did a nice job. It is located right next to the Convention Center and near many restaurants. Overall a solid place to stay.

I stayed at the Anaheim Marriott in 2008 and while I know they completed a huge renovation in the 8 years since my last stay, not much has changed. The lobby and elevators and flooring is certainly updated but the sleeping rooms! The old bathrooms and loud a/c units are in desperate need of updating. I was originally placed on the 2nd floor overlooking the self-park parking lot. My balcony was directly over cars so when I walked into the room all I could see were people standing right outside... We are Marriott Rewards members and, frankly, we chose to stay at this property because all the other Disneyland-adjacent properties were sold out. It WAS Labor Day weekend and there were Disney-sponsored races that weekend. First thing you will notice if you self-park, is that it is a hike from the parking structure elevator to check-in. The hotel is immediately next to Anaheim Convention Center and, as a result, has a number of conference rooms/ballrooms on the ground floor level. You pass... Read more

I remember staying at this hotel as a child when the area was not as developed as it is now. It was a nice hotel, then, and it's a nice hotel now. The lobby has gone through an extensive remodel and the hotel looks very modern. The location is pretty good. If you wanted to walk to the Disney parks, it's not too far of a walk (1/2 mile?) However, ART buses have a stop in the middle of the parkway between the Marriott and the Hilton across the street. The room was clean and comfortable. The ... Read more

The Anaheim Marriott is a nice, business-centered hotel a block away from Disneyland. Keep in mind that the city blocks here are tremendously huge, and it was quite a walk. So it is not the hotel's fault that I came down with the flu while staying there, however, it is their fault that the soda machine was empty for 5 days (on the 9th floor), the concierge couldn't tell me if there was a grocery delivery service or how to access it (there is Vons and Task Rabbit) nor could anyone at the facility manage to get me a Gatorade or any type of electrolyte drink (not on the room service menu).
