"Alamo Inn in Anaheim advertised being able to buy Disneyland tickets. When there, they only offered 2 day park hopper passes and you had to pay cash. The sheets were clean in the hotel and that was about it. Rooms were incredibly run down, i.e. air conditioner and the heater were cocked sideways and had large gaps between the appliance and the wall, upholstery was filthy, there were torn patches in the walls and dirty carpet. The maids were working hard and excellent under the circumstances. The front desk was mediocre - just a job, not a service. Management and the owners, who are making the money do not deserve it. It was the worst hotel, as far as disrepair, that I have ever stayed in and I have traveled 4th class, backpack style to over 35 countries world-wide. The walk to Disneyland was not bad, about 20 minutes to the entrance gate."

"My first impression when I walked in the room was that I was not safe or comfortable. If it was not winter & cold at night I would have slept in my car since I would feel safe and comfortable there. I actually considered booking another hotel someplace else despite how much I already spent on the room. This was probably the most uncomfortable and unacceptable hotel that I have ever seen and had to stay in. Instead of staying for 3 nights as I planned, I checked out early. The pictures posted of the room on the internet were very deceiving. I booked the room based on the pictures and price and when I arrived at the location I was disappointed and annoyed that it was not what I expected. Maybe the pictures that were on the internet were taken when the hotel was first opened. The pictures that I saw displayed nice clean beds and a comfortable room and nice environment where I can relax after a long day at a conference which I was in town for. There was also no pictures of the bathroom which was horrible when I walked in to inspect it. The bathtub floor was stained and had cracks and appeared as though many paint jobs and repairs to it had been performed. There was duck-tape on the ceiling that was covering up a hole or crack. All of the furnishings were old and rusted. The walls were dingy and appeared yellow, the wallpaper was torn and stained. The fire alarm appeared broken and was sitting off place which made me feel all that more safe. The television was from the 1970's and the room lacked basic amenities such as TV channel listing and a do not disturb sign. The internet service was horrible and annoying. I could not maintain a stable connection to the internet which was necessary since I was in the area for a conference and needed to access the internet. If I were you I would spend an extra $40 or $50 for a nicer room someplace else where you know you are safe, clean, and comfortable."

"We didn't expect too much when we choose this inn. It says 'free internet, free parking and free coffee on hallway. Well it is true that the internet is FREE....BUT it's not working at all. The worst things is..after you are so tire playing outside and comback. Taking a COLD shower. The water is not even warm. It was warm at first and turn cold. I guess the only thing worth is the parking. I would not go back for sure. They don't change the bed sheet when they clean the room. That makes my body itchy."

"I've stayed here before, and found it to be alright. The front desk clerks were polite as always, however this time, the room I got was just not comfortable. The air didn't work correctly, the remote control didn't work, the towels were unusually rough, some with holes, and trying to use the internet proved to be a lost cause. I had to go down to the lobby to get service. I'm used to 'roughing it' in hotels, that's why I don't like to spend too much as I spend very little time in them. This time was a little more rough than what I can deal with."

"I was worried about this hotel after I read the reviews, but after my stay I can honestly say it was not as bad as previous people had complained it was. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and quiet. We were able to walk to and from Disneyland twice a day for two days. (20 minute walk) The hotel is literally across the street from Disneyland, but as you may know, the entrance is hidden deep so it's not like you can just cross the street and be there. I did have to ask for a hair dryer and it took some time to get it to the room. The towels were pretty terrible so you might want to bring your own. Overall, for the price and location I would definitely stay here again. It's not fancy in the least, but why pay more for a room you just sleep in?"

"Very dirty I was afraid to touch the light swittces, door knobs, especially the remote control, the carpet is so dirty wear shoes at all times, the towels are thin and rough,after checking in I walked in the bathroom and and found a big dead roach on the floor and was told by staff that they come from the drain. I paid $110.00 for one night I felt ripped off."

"If you read past reviews on this place...believe what it says!! made a trip to Disneyland for the 4th of July week and booked a room for 3 nights. The price is cheap and so is this place!! I had stayed at other places with same star ratings and it's more decent than this one. I gotta admit I couldn't turn away from the price rate and was thinking og the fact we just need a place to sleep and to shower because most of our time will be spent at the park anyways. When we got to the room first thing you will notice is the musty smell, carpet is dirty and you can notice the carpet stains...do not go barefoot! bed is ok found hair inside pillow case, blanket feels rough so we just slept on top of the blankets, towels are thin and feels rough when you wipe yourself with it...just pat yourself dry, bathroom is ok looks decent to use but hard to adjust water temp at shower. Parking spaces are mostly for compact cars. As far as distance to the park I would say it's about 3 blocks and doesn't sound as close as it was on the advertisement. I'm not over exaggerating with the review but this is what I had experienced so don't waste your money on this place. Hopefully whoever manage this place will someday listen to their customers!!!"

"This is a cute little place and our room was cute and clean. The bed was comfortable. At the time that I booked, I grabbed it for the price, but this single room for 2 people was not worth $75 a night. I had to wait 3 days and made 4 reuests to get a hair blower even though I had requedsted one from the 1st day, The towels are bare thin and dingy. I did bring my own. The wi-fi does not work in the room that I had. The staff are not friendly even if you say thank you. One staff member was very helpful in getting a cab to the hotel for a panicky customer who needed to get to the airport for an international flight when the shuttle company failed to show. Our highlight was meeting a very nice family there that we hope to stay in contact with. I will not return to this hotel."

"The rooms (had 2) were dingy and dirty and plain worn down. There were stains on carpets and sheets. The towels were thin and worn. Water supply for shower was horrific. Had problems with staff going through luggage. Of the seven hotels I've stayed at in Disneyland, this has been without a doubt, the worst and would not recommend it to anyone."

"The first entry into my assigned room upon arrival was the smell of foul urine. The toilet seat was broken, the bathroom sink was clogged and there were flies and gnats inside as well. I demanded a room change, which was granted, but that room also had a musty smell to it although not quite as bad as the first one. The bathtub faucet had mildew around the handle and the carpet was very filthy. My complaints about being inconvenienced (putting it mildly) to the front office was met with a constant reply that the manager wasn't in to review. If I can give a negative star rating this hotel has to rank among the worst in Anaheim, supposedly next to the 'happiest place on earth'."

"This is the worse hotel I've ever stayed at. The room keys never worked. The on line info says a block away from Disney. Took us 30 minutes to walk. Hotel was filthy, sheets dirty and bed hard as a brick. Only one outlet worked in the whole room. Had to call desk to have someone come and fix the shower. Made a reservation first night at a different hotel, which is directly across the street from Disney and five star compared to this place. Still trying to get reimbursed for the two nights I didn't stay at this hotel."

"Location was good , Rooms were awful - there was a musty smell when you entered the room. The bathroom was well below standard ( if your a tall person 5 foot and up the shower head would hit you ). "Hotel is in need of a re-vamp. Not at all what I was expecting. Floors needed to be cleaned. Carpets and chairs badly stained. Micro door had to be left open so that it would quit cooking. Heating did not work. Light all around the air conditioner. No working vent in the bath room. Tub was gross. Over all shabby. Looked like a party happened in our room."

"When I booked our reservations here I read reviews stating the hotel was clean & pretty standard but nothing special. Since we would be in the parks 90% of the time I thought it was fine especially for the price. I was mistaken. When walking into the room for the first time we were overtaken by a musty smell. It would have stayed there too but we went to Target & bought an air freshener. We requested new towels immediately after finding hair & stains on the ones in our room. The ones that replaced those weren't that much better though. This continued for the 4 days we were there. The bedding comforters had holes in them & the beds weren't very comfortable. The bathroom floor tile looked to be in need of a good mopping & we were never able to get hot water very easily or for very long. When coming back one afternoon for naps we found out that the water had been turned off but no one had informed anyone in the hotel. There were lots of complaints heard throughout the whole hotel. The parking lot pot holes were being poorly patched up & there weren't enough parking spots for 1 car per room. The weather was not warm enough to use the pool but I wouldn't have used it anyways because from walking past it I could see it was filthy. Overall the experience was terrible. So sad since it is in a prime spot to walk to downtown Disney & the parks. All I wanted was a clean room. Unfortunately not what I got."

"The location to Disneyland is great, but if you're expecting anything great about the motel, don't. There were a number of issues. The door's extra lock, as well as the bathroom's lock, didn't work. The shower was more of a trickle and the hot water didn't last through the entire shower. Also, the bath had no plug to fill the tub and the towels were tiny and incredibly rough to the touch. The beds were HARD AS A ROCK and I had to lay out pillows to sleep on top of. The pool was not heated as well as was only 4-4.5 feet deep. My family stays at inexpensive places frequently and this was by far the most disappointing location. We're easy to please and were thankful for a place to stay in, but still, the price should include a functioning facility and beds worth sleeping on."

"When we first arrived, i was a little concerned cause it motel itself looked a little old and not up to date. However when one consideres the value along with location, its pretty good. Yes, the rooms a little outdated and needs some upkeep, but like i said, its definitly great for a vacation on a budget. Denny's and resort transit stop is very close by. We didnt spend much time in the room, but why would anyone want to, your there for the Disney fun, not to be in your room!"

"I'm going to be honest, we had a much better stay at the hotel you call 'mystery' hotel than this one. In all honesty, this hotel should be closed and demolish! In paraticular, their linenes and towels were second hand at best, the furtinure was falling apart and the sofa bed we had in the room was exposed when unfolded. It was awful, dirty, stained in 3 different places, the girls said it looked liked somone had been murdered on it :-{ I had to walk to the office to ask for another matress (they did not have another one) and also to get linnen, pillows, and covers for that sofabed. the door was hard to open and did not have a chain or bolt lock that worked well."

"I found this hotel acceptable. Our family of four stayed three nights and walked to Disneyland. Previous negative review comments were not observed. The sheets, towels were clean, floors clean, no roaches or bedbugs. Very good service from maintenance, maids, and a friendly and accommodating front desk. I left a good tip in the room. The hotel is older, but you get what you pay for, and I found it to be good enough for our purposes."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel was close to the attractions we wanted to see and was very comfortable. The price was excellent, which allowed us to have a little more money for activities and shopping! We will definitely return!"

"For the price of the hotel, I felt it was good. The room had a kind of odd smell, but we were hardly in the room, except to bathe and sleep. However my husband got ill the last 2 days so he stayed in the room but he says it was ok. I extended our stay another day and added an additional room for my son and his family. Their shower stall was sinking in so they used our bathroom (which was great and large). The front office was very accomodating and nice. Wish they had a coffee maker in the room!"

"I got this hotel at a very good rate and did not read reviews until I had paid. There were many scary ones, which had us concerned about how awful this place would be. When we got there I didnt think it was as bad as the reviews made it sound. Perhaps these people are just very picky and expect $200.00 a night accomodations for next to nothing. I did see that the average price of the room should be 120.00 (posted on the door). Had I paid that I would have been upset as it would not have been worth that. The $40.00 I spent made it a very good value considering the location. I can put up with less plush towels and the like for that price."

"The hotel looked nice from the outside, decent on the inside. Rooms did not look like pictures on this website. tv, fridge and micro all plugged into 2 plugs, you have to unplug one to use one of the other items. The floor was extremely dirty, and was softer than the beds. Ants all over the rooms making it impossible to sleep because they were crawling on everyone. not even worth the $60 paid. Staff very uninformative and unaccommodating but somewhat friendly."
