Overall average Hampton Inn in a remote business park. Close to airport which is helpful. Rooms did not have a refrigerator or microwave. Hotel is not close to restaurants. Need a rental car to stay here.

Stayed 20 nights on my business trip. Hotel provides free shuttle to the airport and nearby restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast was good. Parking was ample. Need to request a small refrigerator for my room. Hotel was able to accommodate on my second day on my hotel stay.

Exactly as you would expect from a nicer Hampton Inn, the Alameda location is cookie-cutter three star style. The breakfast is comparable to a simplified Denny's. The rooms are clean and quiet. I recommend it to people who need a spot to rest their heads but don't intend to spend time in their hotel room otherwise.

Satisfactory stay. Complimentary breakfast well done, complimentary Wall Street Journal a real plus each day. Staff helpful, airport shuttle quick and readily available. No onsite restaurant. Great location on the water with walking paths along the water.

Our family had a very restful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Both the airport shuttle and restaurant shuttle were awesome and efficient! It is a good place to stay if you need to catch an early flight out the next morning. We were a little disappointed with the breakfast - not as much choice as we had hoped, and not very healthy. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

I stayed here for week whilst visiting a customer in the area. I enjoyed the sea view, but only realised later that this came at the price of overlooking the runway! Hotel was fine, airport shuttle, great welcome etc Only problem is that the hotel is quite isolated, whilst this is OK if you have a rental car, it is not so good otherwise. the hotel shuttle will take you to some (not many) local restaurants, however when I asked nicely the driver took me to Park Street, where there are lots of var... We regularly visit the Bay Area to see family and always choose this particular hotel when in town. It's super close to the airport and in a lovely location near the water. Nice and quiet and very safe - feels like you're away from it all when you're right near the airport. Beds are super comfy. You can hear the planes taking off from time to time but it's really not intrusive. The property and rooms are always clean and nicely decorated. Everything feels modern and new. Even my daughter ... We always fly out of Oakland Airport and often have very early a.m. flights--staying at the Hampton Inn makes the whole process so much easier since we live over an hour and a half away. The shuttle to the airport is on time and offers transportation every half hour.

This hotel is probably the best in the Alameda area. It is very clean, quiet, and comfortable with friendly, efficient staff. I had booked my group with 18 rooms on Friday and another 4 rooms on Saturday for a total of 22 rooms. Andre the General Manager was very easy to work with and Jovy the Front Office Manager was wonderful getting everyone checked in and settled. This place was adequate but nothing to write home about. The breakfast was pretty gross. Precook end and packaged "omelets" which had meat in them so not vegetarian. The fruit was canned. Also, the Internet service was bad, it constantly cut out. Also the place is pretty far from anything, especially restaurants. On the other hand, the rooms are very clean, there is a heated pool, if you get a bay view it's really nice and the hotel is right next to a beautiful wetland. Also, they create... Read more

This hotel is in a very nice area and situated by the bay with a view of downtown SF from a distance. I really enjoyed walking or biking along the bike path. However, be advised, it is situated near Oakland Airport and in the line of the flight path. The noise of the airplanes will jolt you from a deep sleep. Also, the walls are pretty thin. I was able to hear my surrounding neighbors snoring and walking to/from the bathroom throughout the night.

The staff at the front desk where nice enough. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were comfortable. They were large, puffy pillows. I only go to this hotel because of its proximity to one of my clients. I have to say, I was totally disgusted when I went to the complimentary breakfast and noticed that there was a dog (small, but a dog, none-the-less) on a table, walking and sitting on it, while its owners were feeding it from the breakfast buffet. I was totally disgusted. Who puts their dog on the table? A table other people will be eating their breakfast on? And why didn't hotel staff correct this?

This is a very nice hotel that seems remote but actually is conveniently located. Mostly a good experience. The negative is poor construction that allows noise to travel between rooms. Had a miserable night because the people above us were noisy most of the night. Bring earplugs if you stay here. Otherwise, the place is fine.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn because it is convenient to the company whose meeting I was attending, and the company selected the hotel. We stay there every quarterly meeting. It is not only convenient but a consistent, reasonably priced hotel which works well for a business customer.

Some of the pillows looked used & one of the 2 queen beds had pubic hair. So I guess the sheets & 2 of the 4 pillows on the bed was not changed. Please check ur waffles cause there was hair in the batter. I would suggest workers that serve food should wear hair nets.

The staff at this hotel is one of the main reasons we return. We hope that the mangement will see this and acknowledge and appreciate these em... Read more

I arrived very late into the Oakland Airport. I called, and my shuttle arrived within minutes. The driver was friendly and helpful. Since I checked in online, my room was ready to go and within 1-2 minutes I was in my room. The hotel is very close to the Oakland Airport, but I had not seen it before. It is in the Bay Farms area of Alameda. Breakfast had a good variety of fresh and appetizing items. Fresh Raspberries ... my favorite! The room was the typical Hampton Inn set-up. I did not...
