Ideal, very close to the highway, close enough to taxi to Beale St, straight back on the road when you're done. We stayed 3 nights, basic, but great staff, Alicia and her crew on reception were great.. No beer, so grab a pack or its a taxi ride away (casino, $7), we did the casino, free entrance, good food, lift home, great night... Food in restaurant next to motel is not bad either...

My husband and I stayed on May 25, 2016 memorial weekend because we couldn't get a room at the hotel of our choice for the first nights stay. It was nice and clean, slight odor but not overpowering. The room was clean, but could use some updating but no broken furniture or ripped carpets and stains everywhere except someone used the bathtub as an ashtray and burned it. No smell in the room. The bed was ok, clean linen. The usual continental breakfast. So not a bad nights stay for an affordab... Read more

Was looking for a specific hotel that we had a coupon for that was off the exit it gave directions for but they weren't correct as the new hotel wasn't there. So, we checked this one out as it was handy. It was old but clean so we stayed. It's right by truck parking so it was noisy in the middle of the night when a trucker left. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

During our road trip, we've been trying to stay under budget on hotels to have more play money. We knew Graceland wouldn't be cheap so we opted for a cheap hotel. After reading the reviews, I was nervous, but I wanted to enjoy Memphis so I sucked it up and I'm glad I did! The hallway does smell like smoke, the biggest downside. Situated right next to a truck stop, you would think there would be noise, but it wasn't bad and it was an easy walk to the gas station next door for snacks. The mornin... Read more

We booked into Super 8 for two nights. Check in was quick and efficient. The room was clean, with fridge, and coffee making facilities. The first morning we stayed there was no water. The west side of Memphis had no water. Not the hotels fault! We checked out, hoping to get a refund for one night. Later that day we returned, due to spending most of the day in Memphis and our email for a refund not being answered by Windhams. The water was restored and we checked back in. The staff were very... We stayed her as part of a road trip. Between the time of year (January) and the weather ( a lot of Mississippi River flood activity) it was tough getting in. The hotel was easy enough to find, and very convenient for our continued path. The staff at checkin was friendly and helpful with information, and our room had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel the following morning before heading out. Interesting memory from the morning was that someone was offeri... Read more

We needed a cheap hotel while driving from Houston to Pittsburgh. Decided to stop in Memphis and visit Graceland. This turned out to be a trucker's motel. The motel was pretty rundown, but clean. Whatever cleaner was used on the carpet left a sticky residue. The biggest complaint was a very loud, clunking air conditioner that made it nearly impossible to sleep. Had to turn off and run only the fan, in turn that made the room stale and warm. No other rooms non-smoking rooms were available. Made t... Read more

We booked this hotel based on the reviews and price we found on another website, but those reviews turned out to be VERY misleading. This place is clearly not meant for families. When we walked into the lobby to check in, we were met with the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. Our room, a king "suite" was spacious enough and luckily not as stinky as the lobby and hallways, but we did not have enough linens for the number of people on our reservation, nor was there any bedding in the room fo... First impressions are key. This was a "rough" area of town. Businesses right down the road had bars on their windows. I asked the hotel concierge for a baggage cart after check-in. She looked confused then brought me a moving dolly. After bringing the bags in I discovered there was no elevator and our room was on the second floor (only two floors). The room was very outdated and dirty. There was cobwebs on the corner and ants on the side table. There were hairs on the bed sheets like if the bed sheets were not washed or changed after the previous visit We were not allowed to make our own waffle and she kept cleaning around us like if trying to rush us out. It was very uncomfortable.

It has to be the single worst hotel that we stayed in during our two month trip in the states. Filthy carpets, rooms and hallways stunk of cigarette smoke, don't try and sleep on the bed - it has bugs crawling all through it. Hair in the bathroom and a lock on the door that doesn't work.

Good price for the room. 1/2 the price of what were quoted in Memphis, TN across the river/10-min away. Worth saving the money for a "sleeping only" room. Room was big enough for 5 of us. Yes it does like a former smoking hotel, it lingers. The breakfast was not good: pre-packaged danishes, make your own waffle, and dry cereal.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. This hotel caters to interstate traffic so is a mix of families travelling and truckers so is not particularly upscale or full of amenities. The staff is nice enough and fairly accommodating. Coya (front desk) went above an beyond for us though,by correcting our room type with no hassle, when our booking site (I'll not name names) messed up our reservation. As stated above this is simple but decent hotel.

The facility was adjacent to a truck stop on the interstate so area was busy but very industrial and not especially inviting. Office staff was very nice (Dave?) at check in and even offered to help carry luggage to 2nd level. The room had clean linens but the cover and other items were very worn (Old can still be cared for) and didn't appear well cared for. Prior guest left a card that was still under a chair. No stopper for either bathtub or sink. Will not return to this facility.

The room smelled moldy and musty. We had to keep the window open all night and the fan on high to breath. I wasn't comfortable being on the bottom floor with the window open. Free parking and free wifi which worked well. I have no complaints. If you're looking for a fancy hotel that is perfect you have to be prepared to pay for it. I was happy enough with it to stay another night.
