We had some trouble locating this hotel. Our reservation said "Clarington" our telephone navigator said "Holiday Inn" and one of them said the hotel was closed. It actually was the Red Roof Inn. This hotel is very conveniently located right off the expressway. We came to see Paul McCartney at the Verizon Arena. The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were clean and comfortable. However, when we pulled up there were a lot of people who appeared to be homeless milling about. The hote... Read more

It's pet friendly. The man at front desk is Very nice. We had to change rooms. First room was 124 it was smelly the tv didn't work so we moved to room 110 It's was really dirty I washed down the desk tops and mopped the floor with a wash cloth it was nasty. The parking lot is under construction so limited parking. Other than that I would stay again.

Really a nice place at a great rate. Super clean with nice folks at the front desk. Definitely a great place with good location and a really comfortable place. A home away from home for the business traveler.

We only spent 1 night here on a trip. I booked the room cheap, and it was ok for the money. It was clean and fairly comfortable. The staff was outstanding and very helpful and pleasant. There were, however, a few things that we were not too happy with. 1) The bathroom counter wasn't large enough to hold toiletries. That may be petty, but it was aggravating. 2) The pool was closed and under repair. We didn't know that, or we would have stayed elsewhere. 3) The main gripe we had was the free bre... Read more

It started bad and went down hill. We booked a two bed room and they gave us a room with one bed. We changed rooms and that one smelled real bad so they moved us to a different room. The a/c was loud but we needed to get settled so we stayed in that room. The window had a thin sheer covering it and we had a street light shining in the room all night. The pool was not working and neither were any of the ice machines in the hotel. In the morning when we went to get breakfast they had one table to ... Read more

While I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, I do have to add a disclaimer. I have been traveling extensively for the past sixty years, and this hotel undoubtedly has the absolutely WORST breakfast I have ever seen at ANY hotel EVER. It was so bad that we went out for breakfast instead of eating at the hotel. The parking is also bad. Half of the parking spaces are facing in the wrong direction and it's very hard to get turned around to go back out of the parking lot. Also, there ... Read more

As we were checking in the man upfront said, "Well just so you know we don't turn on the air during the summer on the 4th floor. You'll have to do it yourself once you get in your rooms." If anyone tells you that before you stay anywhere, either ask/heavily insist to stay on a new floor, or find a new hotel. Our stay was unpleasant. Very unpleasant. I'd advise you or anyone else to not stay here.

After searching for an inexpensive room to sleep a few hours, we were pleased to find this Red Roof Inn. The room could have been just a bit cleaner (some dirt on floor, spot on one pillowcase, a few random hairs on comforter/sink), but the sheets and tub were clean and the a/c worked well. We really just wanted a clean place to sleep for the night so for the price it was great (none of the cleanliness issues were a big deal for us). Staff was REALLY nice - both at checkin and in the morning. T... Read more

Rated 3 stars and convenient location but disappointed with our stay. Construction going on outside and really difficult to locate even with Google maps. Parking spots are really tight, at least the ones walking distance to rooms. Rooms are old, dirty, and smelled terribly of cigarettes. We had gotten a non smoking room, and still can't get the smell out. There's no difference between deluxe and superior room but they advertise one being higher price than the other, and we were tricked into boo... Read more

I travel a lot ,and stay in many different hotels. I will say without hesitation this hotel should be a lot higher on the ratings. Clean inside rooms and building. I stayed for 2 weeks and every day there the staff the magement everyone there went out of their way to make me and my mother feel welcome . they are currently working on the grounds there and I saw improvements on them everyday I was there,i cannot say enough how pleasant my stay was with them. Really enjoyed it. Thank you. Red roof... Read more

Rooms look nice on website, but is old and all they've done is put on fresh paint! The room was very humid, everything felt damp. We slept on the most uncomfortable bed! Thankfully we only stayed for one night. I would not recommend for long stays!

Not impressed!!! Go ahead and spend another 20 bucks somewhere else. Sketchy atmosphere outside. A bit run down. The toilet seat doesn't even fit the toilet. Will scratch this off my return to list. Staff were pleasant though.

I would highly recommend this hotel. because of some of the reviews I read I hesitated to stay there. But it is not what those reviews said at this time. Someone was always available to help and they were very pleasant. Felt very safe. My stay was for 2 weeks August 2016

I have been here from the 5th until the present. The office is run by a family on the fourth floor. They have double charged me for the last week. They authorized over $300 on my bank account. Then told me they hadn't charged me and charged my card for the last week seperate from the authorization. Now they have drained my account with authorizations and keep trying to kick my family and I out for non payment even though they already pulled the money from my account. When I showed them the discr... Read more

Not what is was as Red Roof Inn (I have been told it was Holiday Inn before). The location is now dirty. The elevator need a refresh. In my room (superior) a wall outlet was not working. The internet was slow. No more breakfast as in the pass years. A few cars in the parking lot and I understand why. No more a return to location.
