The prebook was a mess, I was overcharged THOUSANDS of dollars, the staff did not give me a discount as promised. It was just a complete mess. I spent over 5 hours of my trip sorting out booking messes. It was horrendous.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The shuttle service was great! Unfortunately, there was construction going on right outside my window which made a lot of noise. The rooms were also on the small side. All in all, can't really complain.

The outstanding feature of this hotel is the staff. Everyone, and I mean everyone, goes out of their way to make your stay great. The hotel was undergoing renovations. The concierge lounge was closed. They made a section of the restaurant work as its replacement. The food in the restaurant is very good. Portion size is a little above average. Everything is nicely done, not overcooked. The food for the afternoon /early evening in the makeshift concierge lounge was excellent. A nice asso... Read more

This hotel has a very friendly staff, including the shuttle drivers. It is fantastic to be able to fly in to Little Rock and be picked up very quickly by the shuttle and taken to the hotel. I often check in early with no problem. The location is really nice - a short walk to the River Market area which has all kinds of little shops and restaurants, and is really close to the Clinton Presidential Center. This is a great place to walk/job/run, and then sit down to a casual dinner. The hotel has a ... Read more

The best part of the whole night was my wife and I going to the bar and receiving a drink and some food from the bartender and cook. They were so nice and helpful and seemed genuinely happy for us. If I could remember their names (bartender was white guy and cook was black guy who worked on May 28, 2016 around 6 pm), I would say to never let them go. Room could've used an update, not enough to outlets as the microwave wasn't plugged up. Little disappointed in that but overall great place for ... Read more

Our stay was a positive experience. Our room was nice and cleaned daily. On one day we forgot to take the "Do not disturb" sign off the door before we left. When we returned, we called the front desk and asked for clean towels/washcloths. We received more than requested in record time! Most hotels do not get extras to you for at least 30 minutes. We received ours in less than five minutes. Our room was extremely small and the windows were in need of cleaning, but otherwise it was perfect. The lo... Read more

The lower levels are under renovation - parking garage and associated areas. In spite of rerouting traffic and lots of cement dust and dirt in the air, it is a very good value at $91 night. Garage floor levels can be confusing on the elevators. Make a note of the G1 or G2 when you get on the elevator so it will be easier to go back there for your car.

This hotel could be great--the property is in a good location and obviously once was a first class hotel. But that was apparently long ago. Now its just worn out. Common areas all are old and showing a lot of wear. The restaurant in particular has worn carpet that has obvious ground in dirt of years. Elevators likewise, with the numbers for the floors scarred and with paint coming off. Exercise room belongs in a prison--a tiny, joyless, lifeless place with harsh lighting and 7 aerobic exer... First, this hotel is under renovation, and they're doing a great job keeping the inconveniences that come with that process to a minimum for their guests. When we were there the 12th floor was being renovated and the only way we knew that is that someone hit the wrong floor on the elevator and we were able to explore a bit. I've stayed here many times and this experience was good, but not GREAT. They had construction on the 12th floor and I was on the 11th, so heard every sound when I was in the room. Would have been nice to know they were doing construction as I would have chosen another room. They still have issues with only 3 elevators and a lot of guests, but we managed to muddle through it. The stay wasn't horrible, but just wasn't what I've had in the past.

Business trip for the holiday weekend. Weather was hot and humid and though the hotel was very comfortably air conditioned, outside was not and I needed to clean some shirts and jeans. There were no laundry facilities in the hotel, and the laundry service was closed on weekends and was also closed on the Monday holiday. Had to wash shirts by hand in the bathroom sink. Not a tragedy, but not world class.

Great downtown location. Nice and quiet. Staff was very helpful, and charming in that Southern way. Lobby and room clean and attractive; elevator areas and pool looked a little beaten up, and uneven stairs from plaza to sidewalk are potential trip hazard (but I understand there's a reno in the works). The hotel is a bit dated for a Doubletree, but they are currently renovating so that should change. The staff were great and the hotel location is ideal. Once the property is updated, it will be a solid four out of five. The biggest downside is the price of parking. The hotel really needs to figure out a better deal with the city.

Very disappointing stay having never been to Little Rock before. This is a dated property that has had some upgrades, but housekeeping is poor and its undergoing construction in the rooms and lobby areas. Found food rotting under the dresser after looking for the source of flies in the room. Door lock didnt work 9/10 times. Parking garage was dank and smelled strongly of dog excrement. No proper restaurant or bar. Lucky we walked through the Marriott next door on the way back from dinner. I move... Read more

First time in Little Rock, and the usually solid Hilton chain left me flat........and cold with this one. Tired and worn out hotel, far past its prime. Staff were excellent, rooms were old, wi-if not very good. Had to run the bathroom tap and tub for 15 minutes in the morning to get hot Water? Parking garage needs better signage, bit of a show getting out. They are working on this one so I hope they get it right for the next time I'm in town.

Great hotel in downtown Little Rock. The service is top notch and the staff is very helpful. The hotel is under some renovations but there is no inconvenience because of the renovations. Within walking distance to all the best restaurants and historical sites. The digital key is awesome and everyone should try it.

We checked into this hotel for one night as part of our honeymoon. We have come over from the UK and have driven across the USA. During the last few weeks we have stayed in many hotels and this has to be our absolute favourite. Even though there are renovations going on at the hotel it did not affect our stay. The room was nicely decorated, clean and had everything that we needed. We also got to experience the concierge service which was brilliant. The staff for us made the whole experience ... Read more

The hotel was very nice to stay in and had a comfortable room. The elevators were quick and the staff was helpful. The restaurant/bar was undergoing construction but still managed to have a relaxing drink at the end of the night in a comfortable setting. My only complaint was that on the river side (rear side) of the hotel you could hear the morning traffic pretty clearly through the close window of the hotel room. You may want to request the front side, less traffic noise.

I was very happy with my room at the Doubletree. The room itself was good, the staff was nice. As a Diamond, I had access to a lounge on the top floor. Rooms on the top floor have balconies.
