Stayed for one nite at the Hampton Inn and they are doing a lot of remodeling of the property. Storage containers and supplies have taken up over 1/2 of the available parking, so parking was at a could park in the TGI Friday parking lot and walk thru the storm to get to the hotel. The room was nice enough, but a couple of vending machines were not working, had to walk around til you could finally find one. The staff was so very friendly. Everything will look spectacular once the remodel has been completed. We really enjoyed the birthday package which included a party for 6 with pizza, a cookie, and 2 liter bottle of coke. My boys had a blast. I would do this again.

Where the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Very clean and a hot tasting continental breakfast. There is a pool, hot tub, fitness center and a basketball court for the family. There is laundry service if needed and private rooms for meetings and family parties. They have a area where you can buy food and supplies that you might forget for personal care, also beer and wine if needed.

We stayed one night. The construction there is currently in a large section of the hotel, but this is a really large Hampton Inn. I am an Honors member and we get to check in via email and pick our room. I picked a room that faced the construction zone without knowing it at the time. The staff person checking us in made no mention of it being near the construction zone and in fact encouraged us to park on the side where all the construction was, like she had no idea that 1/3 of the hotel is und... This hotel was above and beyond. We got to the room and they had a dog bed, food and water dish and a little toy. Watson our English cocker loved it. People amenities were also wxcellent. Bed covers were more like what u would have in your home rather than a hotel. This was truly a dog friendly hotel. We travel a lot w/Watson and this was the best.

I love Hampton Inn's standards and facilities. This one is under renovation and that is a bit of an inconvenience. While this is an acceptable hotel, it is not one of the better Hamptons I've experienced. One elevator didn't work, making the wait to get to the fourth floor rather long. The desk clerk was somewhat officious and less friendly than the norm. The layout is rather odd. Now in all fairness, this is certainly NOT a bad hotel. It's OK, for sure. But, most Hampton Inns deserve ... Read more

Due to construction and other guests, there was no parking if you leave the hotel parking lot anytime after 7pm. Walls were thin so when people were in the hallway talking, you can easily hear the conversation. Construction leaves a musty smell on the floor. The AC did not work in our room as the temperature did not go below 75 degrees our entire stay. The bed was hard and yes, I have slept on the ground before and the ground was softer.

I stay at Hampton in Bryant, AR a lot, so I have become used to their great quality of service and friendliness. If you have ever stayed at a really good Hampton, don't expect the same in Fort Smith. The rooms are fine, but this Inn has been undergoing renovations for a long time. That would be ok if the quality of service made up for it but it does not. I'd rather not relive the experience but suffice to say the room was filthy and rugs so gross we kept our shoes on to not touch them. Hotel Lobby and pool was swarming with guests until late in the evening. Lobby was all wet from pool guests. This hotel was wonderful! Beds and pillows were very comfortable! The room and bathroom are set up really well. And this was by far the cleanest room/hotel we've ever stayed at! The breakfast was top notch as well! And I love that the coffe and flavored creamers are out all day! Great experience overall!

Hampton Inn always provides a comfy stay, and we've been visiting for almost 2 years now . Although they are undergoing some renovations, you would never know. The new rooms are very nice!!! Will be returning twice in December and on thru the new year.

The remodel takes Hampton from being outdated to outstanding! I travel a lot and try to keep costs around 100bux a night. It was well worth just a few extra dollars to have the comfort and convenience of a fully modern room.

The hotel is undergoing reinovation making it somewhat disruptive. The finished rooms are very nice. When the project is complete it will be an excellent lodging experience. All amenities are good. Service is good. Everything works well.

Remember, details is what make the difference between averag... Read more
