We had a minor issue at check in but the manager was able to resolve our issue. I would recommend paying the few extra dollars to get the newer rooms very nice room with a lot of space. I will stay here next time we visit. The free breakfast is super tasty.

My friend and I stayed over for an evening while road construction was being completed. We spoke with Stephanie whom booked our reservation, she provided dynamic communication and notes over the phone. We had our date wrong, we phoned back later that evening and Reggie assisted with our correction and was quite hospitable. When we arrived Sabrina provided us with a friendly welcome and smile, as well as switched our room to be closer to the pool and fitness area with the assistance of her Fro... Read more

We had a three night stay in the Viscount in conjunction with a reunion of the 355th Fighter Group - an Air Force organization active from WW I to the present. Very nice suite with separate sitting area and TV that could be closed off with a door - handy to accommodate sleepers and late night TV viewers. The room and furnishings in good condition. This is a large hotel built with conventions and corporate gatherings in mind. We had a banquet with buffet service on our final night. The brea... Read more

The rooms are small suites with just the right amenities. Very quiet, clean, reasonable for the price. Easy parking and good location. The lobby restaurant/bar was very good and and accommodated special requests without fuss. The hot breakfast buffet was a plus and the pool/hot tub well-kept and pleasant,

Suite has plenty of room, the breakfast has more choices than any other we have stayed at. The staff were helpfull and friendly. The hotel is located in central part of town and easy to get to other parts of tucson.

The hotel is a remodeled Embassy Suites but in good order. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast buffet looked ample, but wasn't able to use. The only drawback was in checking in - the band for happy hour was so loud, I could hardly hear the clerk! Nice, friendly and accommodating staff. Will stay again. Central location.

AC at home was out, and I work from home, so I needed a comfortable room to sleep and work. 4 nights at $89/nt, and was offered "for $10 more, you can have a remodeled room". Me: what's in the remodeled room? Front Desk: newer TVs, newer decor, new beds. Me: Sold. The front room of the suite, had mini blinds, that were bent, and broken (wouldn't hang in the full-down position, leaving the bottom 1/3 open). The front room was actually dark, too dark to work (both table lamps had beaten, ripped, d... Read more

Was in Tucson for training, and office was right next door to the hotel which made it very convenient as well as corporate discount for staying there. Hotel was nice looking inside, Wilbur's bar had a good menu (food was equally pretty good as well), happy hour with good prices. Hotel had good prices as well, rooms were clean and good sized. Two quirks. #1-old CRT tube type TV's and no batteries in either of the remotes. #2-not a real computer desk and very limited power plugs (good thing I... Read more

This hotel is very interesting looking with a lot of different amenities. However, I don't think it entirely works. I arrived on a Friday night to extremely loud music when I checked in. Normally I wouldn't mind, but I was tired after a long drive and I don't think the music had to be that loud--especially considering how few people were there. I understand it is Friday night and the music stopped before it got too late. With how the hotel is designed with the indoor courtyard, you can hear that... Read more

The rooms are ok. It seems to lack some basic maintenance; rust on fixtures in bathroom, artificial plants very dusty, some of the bedding quite worn, and this was in a room that had been upgraded. The rooms did have coffee maker, small frig, and microwave. The breakfast is great. The pool was nice and seemed well maintained, nice atmosphere out there. The laundry area was nice and made things convenient, cost $1 for each load in washer and $1 for dryer. The workout area is small and not well... Read more

First of all let me say I'm easy to satisfy as far as a hotel goes. Just a hot shower, working a/c and a bed with a pillow is all I need. The Viscount Suites was perfectly fine for me while I worked in Tucson for the week of August 15-18, 2016. What I liked the best was the complimentary breakfast. It was truly a full buffet style breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, corned beef hash, fresh fruit, cereal, milk, juices that were not watered down, 4 types of bread for toas... My family stayed on the 2nd floor. The room was spacious - a sitting room in front with a door to separate the bathroom and bedroom that had 2 full beds and enough room for a crib. The couch in the front room was also a pull-out bed. But it REALLY needed an update. The TV was a few decades old, the furniture is from the 80's too, and the carpet was in serious need of either deep clean or replacement. The hotel itself is fine, and while we didn't eat it, the breakfast looked pretty good. Peop... Read more

I will first say there were more good things than bad, when it came to having my wedding at the hotel. The decorations, food, and the fact that the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate my new wife because she is a wheelchair user, were nothing short of amazing. They even built a ramp for her!! The Chef is also amazing! A Few much deserved shout outs go to; JANE~ who made the most amazing decorations. She brought color and life to the ceremony and reception. I could not have asked ... Read more

The staff is friendly and helpful but the rooms and bar are out dated. I felt like I time traveled back to the late eighties or early nineties. With some updates to the decor, room electronics, and technology this hotel would be very nice especially considering they have a very cool/unique room floor plan.

My husband and I stayed there for a getaway weekend. We've both been there several times before for meetings/events but never stayed there. It was both good and not so good. Good: We were there just before Halloween and the general areas were so cutely decorated for Halloween...lights, blow up characters etc Staff were dressed up too. Wilbur's Grill had a very good happy hour, nice munchies (free) and really good food. The breakfast buffet was really good too...best "free" breakfast we... Read more

One night stop over and expected it to be clean and modern as photos looked good. The barman, Joshua, was a real asset to the place and a shame the breakfast staff did not have his work ethics. The young breakfast staff were very busy chatting to each other and not greeting people and helping them familiarise where things were etc... Tables not clean and the young waiter even took plates away from tables across us and scrapped plates into a black bag by our table..not good. Our room was very dim... Read more

Stayed here for an extended-family gathering. It was perfectly fine--clearly an old Embassy Suites gone independent, so the 80s green-and-peach decor felt a little dated--but the room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was great. Our mistake was planning our family event the weekend of the University of Arizona homecoming game, so the hotel was packed with old fans, but it couldn't be helped. Negatives: service was a little slow (we asked for extra sheets for the couch several ti... Read more

First...immediately upon entering the room, a hugely musty smell. After sitting in the room for a couple hours I hoped I wouldn't notice the smell any longer. Unfortunately it seemed to smell worse the longer I was here. Everything is outdated. The TV's are dinosaurs... Just not happy at all!! The closed captioning won't turn off by using the CC button on the TV. Lamp broken ...

I booked this hotel mostly for the convenience of its location. Had read reviews about only certain rooms being updated but thought it would be OK whatever room I got. Not So. I arrived late in the evening, went to the room and it was dingy, dark, with a terrible musty smell... just old and not worth the price I had paid. I couldn't even sit in the room because I felt so uncomfortable. I called the front desk who explained the manager was not available until morning. Since I didn't feel I could ... Read more
