This is a large and very beautiful resort, spread out over several buildings. We were in town for a football bowl game and chose to stay here because it was one of the official team hotels. Pros ‚?? The lobby bar was massive, and it was a great place to hang out with a large group. Bar service was excellent! In general, all of the staff we met were awesome. Our group had a great family meal at one of the restaurants, Contigo Latin Kitchen. Highly recommended! The resort also offers complimenta... Read more

Really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful property. You can't beat the location by the Catalina mountains and the setting makes you feel at one with nature. Now, as a resort, you'll pay higher prices than at city hotels, but I don't think you will be disappointed. I noticed that several have complained about the service, but I found the staff to be quite helpful to me with a variety of requests during my stay. I would definitely book here again!

Located at the base of the Catalina Mountains, this resort was more then satisfactory for an overnight stay to meet friends....the room was located in one of the outer buildings, was outfitted very modernly, and was roomy and comfortable....the front desk staff were friendly while staying professional.

We had a board retreat here that was comfortable and we were well taken care of. I have been here a number of times for large conferences, but this was my first smaller meeting. The front desk was very helpful and we barely realized the staff was there during our meeting, which shows how well they worked. The room was very comfortable and large but there was an odd leak from the shower that left a puddle on the tile each morning. I saw it before stepping into it and just put down another towel ... Truly a beautiful property with walking paths, pools, fountains and tennis courts. It's a resort, so you'll pay resort prices- this also extends to the on property Starbucks kiosk - and facility fees. My main gripe is with the housekeeping staff. One day they cleaned the room, but didn't make the bed. Another day they left coffee packets, but no coffee cups. On the day we were to check out, we went to breakfast and were planning to clear the remaining items out of our room a half hour prior ... Read more

I was surprised at the amount of things that went wrong during our 7 night stay in 2 rooms! We were very disappointed and do not plan to go back to the Westin La Paloma. There seemed to be little if no communication between the staff and management.

The resort grounds have wonderful landscapes and views; it is also in a great location in Tucson. Other than that, it was downhill from there. We had five rooms blocked off and none of them were ready, we slowly did get our rooms (the last room was not ready until 8pm) To ease the inconvenience, the group were offered $200 worth of complementary service at the bar/restaurant. That was very kind of the resort and I was impressed with such a generous amount but I figured they were trying to compen... Read more

I absolutely loved my stay here. The natural landscapeof the Tucson foothills paints such a pleasing environment at The Westin. If you've never been to the Sonoran Desert, this is the best way to experience the region. Aside from the visual attributes, they also have a wonderful staff. Nels Schroer, in particular, was incredibly nice and swiftly catered to all of our requests with a smile.

This huge resort was beautiful and made it so our family could come to us. We despise the urban sprawl of Tucson and how much travel time eats out of our visits so we told everyone "come to us!" La Paloma has a gaggle of heated pools, a water slide, swim up bar, restaurants, and beautiful rooms. The weather was great, and service is excellent. Awesome military rate. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.
