A bit far from the city (20 minute cab ride) , but really nice hotel. Very friendly staff. A bit pricy, but worth it if you want to enjoy a really nice vacation. Pool and hot tub are nice and the trails behind the hotel are very nice too.

I was at this very nice hotel on a business trip. The meetings and other affairs were held there. The accommodations were perfect for all the equipment, and the large group that we were. I recommend it for such large events, and definitely for a vacation trip as well. The food, services, and staff was great!!

Surprised to learn of two NYE parties when we checked in on NYE. Dined at the Flying V (amazing in every respect) joined the celebrations in the ballroom with 80's music, then the lounge with the band playing great music. Just the right amount of people, just the right amount of fun. Breakfast the next morning was the best with views of the mountain shaking off the rain clouds and tuning into a sunny 2017. Great hotel people who know their stuff and no attitudes. Best food ever and good value. C... Read more

This was our second visit to Loews while visiting family in the local area. This hotel remains first class from the friendly staff, great food/drink, beautiful pool area and walking path. We have nothing but great things to say about the hotel. Peter and Steve who work the valet/bellman were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay providing great recommendations. Teri at the front desk was very accommodating during our stay and helped us extend our reservation, along with Michaela. ... Read more

Great Hotel and property... great hiking trails... Alex whom works the front doors was extremely helpful in his suggestions pertaining to local hikes and attractions in the Sabina Canyon National Park. Alex and Stefan went above and beyond in making sure I knew how to make the most of my stay. My stay at Loews Ventana Canyon Hotel was great!

We loved our mountain view room with a view of the waterfall and beautiful cactuses! The hot tub at nighttime is a must! We ate at the Flying V onsite and it was amazing! Also did the Ventana Canyon Trail within walking distance which was amazing and so convenient to the hotel!

We are a couple who wanted to leave the Northwest rain and find some sun for four days. The setting is quite lovely and there are hikes or bicycling to be had if you are willing to drive a bit-golf course and tennis is on site. This hotel is up in the Canyon away from downtown so you have to drive 15 to 40 minutes to reach other major restaurants. The one very nice restaurant on site was very Jalapeño heavy (in everything from cornbread to steak to mashed potatoes) which did not sit well wi... Read more

Great location, beautiful property with the best staff I have encountered at a hotel in years. Was down in Oro Valley for weekend swim meet and the hotel exceeded all expectations. Most comfortable bed and pillows I have slept on in a hotel in more than 30 years! Room was in immaculate condition as was the whole property. Great nature walk up to the ventana waterfall as well.

Mr. William Arce provided excellent care to our company event and made sure the food service was smooth and careered to the needs of our group. He was professional and pleasant throughout the evening which allowed us to enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about anything else. I hope we are able to come back next year!

From check-in to check-out this property is was fabulous! The staff are courteous, friendly, helpful, welcoming, and go above and beyond to make your stay a good one. We arrived late on a Thursday evening with our dog and were welcomed with a smile, and doggie bag with bowls, mat, treats, and poo bags - thanks!! The view from our room was amazing - lovely canyon view with koi pond and pool below, and waterfall just off in the distance. A nice little walk out to the waterfall too! Our room was so... Read more
