My wife and I stayed here one night on the tail end of our vacation to relax and decompress before going home. The place is clean and well maintained with a great pool. They have an excellent restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rates are great and the staff is well informed and very friendly. If you stay try the restaurant Boca down the street for artisinal tacos and interesting drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.

This is a gem. The staff are great, the restaurant is delicious (make sure to try the fire and spice margarita!), the grounds are small yet intimate and the pool/spa is sparkling clean. The rooms are currently being remodeled- I don't know how they can improve! Love this place! Close to nearby restaurants and activities.

My family and I stayed here overnight while attending another function in Tucson. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel offered so much and for such a great price. We used SPG points and didn't spend too many. The Sheraton is near several restaurants and offers quick access to any venue in Tucson. We loved the lobby area and the staff was very friendly. The hotel feels like an oasis in the desert, with a nice-sized, outdoor pool in the center of the premises. It w... Read more

Second floor rooms and higher have a shallow balcony, you can step outside, but there isn't room for a chair. Our 2nd floor location provided a view of the parking lot and dumpster, with mountains beyond. Spacious room, good size desk, comfortable bed. When checking out the clerk asked if there were any problems (as everyplace should). I mentioned a housekeeping and a maintenance issue and he volunteered to give us breakfast, Which was normally $10 if I recall correctly, Thank you. Breakfast wa... Read more

They provide small balconies in every room, and they are suites so you can have the dividing rooms. Pool is nice, I am not sure if breakfast is offered. The only bad thing was rude bar staff, hopefully they were replaced by now.

I booked a room here because I am between houses and have been sleeping at my sister's house on the couch temporarily. I have been woke up every morning by loud kids for a few weeks now. I thought it would be nice to get a room for my lady and me to relax and SLEEP IN! Unfortunately I was woken up at 8am by an extremely loud carpet cleaning machine and wasn't able to get back to sleep after calling the desk to complain. When I went to check out I made sure to politely tell the older gentleman at... Read more

Yet again another great stay at this wonderful hotel! I have been staying at this hotel for "staycations" throughout the past 15 years now, and the hotel is always pleasant to stay at. Check in was a breeze, I was allowed to check in early at 1, and I upgraded my room to a suite at check in. The room was great, I really love to upgrade to a suite, as it feels like a little apartment lol. I really love that the living room and bedroom are separated by a door, so it allows for a little more pr... Read more

Had the worst experience the night before my wedding. The bathroom water did not turn off and the night manager asked if we wanted to move to another room at 11 pm and we were ready to go to sleep. We were in a suite and was told we can move to a room that was not a suite which I paid for. The maintenance guy finally shut off the water 1 hour later. For the inconvenience the night manager said she would comp us for breakfast but failed to let the morning staff know and I was bothered once again ... Read more

Check in at this hotel was luke warm at best. The employee was clearly not connected with our conversation. I asked, "Do you have any rooms available for tonight?" "Yes we have a rooms with one king bed and rooms with two double beds. What would you like?" "One of each please." "Oh we can't do that. We have no rooms with a king and a double." REALLY???? And so it began. The rooms are definitely antiquated which is okay except my first view of the bed was the sheets put on crooked which prompted... Read more

We were passing through Tucson for one night and were drawn to Tucson Sheraton Suites due to the pool and fire pits which were supposed to have s'mores. Well the fire pits were not on so obviously we didn't get s'mores. We decided to relax in the pool, but the pool was filthy. The pump must have stopped working. I called to the front desk and within twenty minutes maintenance was down to clean the pool with the net but I don't think he looked into the pump. The jacuzzi was nice and not too hot f... Read more

This is a very unique and gorgeous hotel. The lobby is open and inviting with a starbucks inside. The staff was very helpful and friendly checking me in, and they made special effort to tell me the best place to park my car. The outside pool area in the middle is awesome! They were even showing a movie on a big outdoor screen in front of it. I really liked my room, although a little uneasy in the stairwell areas that lead outside. At the time, I needed a separate card to get into the hotel and ... Read more

The employees were all very nice however this hotel was nore of a Motel 6 than a Sheraton. They allegedly are going to be renovating all the rooms..but that was no excuse for the sub par room we were given. Our "Presidential Suite" was definitely not what we expected. We had a small one room King suite then they obviously took down a wall to a former tiny conference room and now called it a "Presidential Suite". They even left in the horrible florescent lighting. I have stayed here several times but am writing this review because I am so impressed with the extra mile that Cece went to accomodate our family. The staff is above and beyond helpful and professional but the restaurant needs assistance with customer service and quality. There are so many choices in Tucson for high quality Mexican food, venture out. It's a short Uber ride away. The rooms are clean, perhaps outdated for a Sheraton but still very modern compared to other chain hotels and it is pr... Read more

I had a most agreeable short stay at this property. George at reception was extremely helpful and gave me a quiet, upper-floor, one-bedroom suite. The decor could stand to be freshened up a bit, but it included a refrigerator, microwave and ample space for my needs. The pool is a good size, but the gym, with its typical assortment of treadmills, ellipticals and free weights is rather compact. The club lounge was nicely appointed, but had rather disappointingly limited offerings for both breakfas... Read more

beautiful hotel and pool. Quiet. Good tortilla soup their restaurant. Executive lounge on 4th floor has good scrambled eggs made with butter and cream. The keeper of this lounge at breakfast, Steve, is very solicitous of the guests. Unfortunately they serve Starbucks but there is good coffee next door at IHOP. At check in they give you a choice---- for every day you give up having your room cleaned by housekeeping you will get $5 off a meal or 500 star program points. I strongly prefe... Read more

This old hotel is an embarrassment to SPG. I only stayed here to be close to Tucson Medical Center. Everything looks dingy and run down. Stains on furniture and carpet. Crappy TV channel selections. Coffee maker disgusting. Thin floors so I heard every step the guy above me took at 4 am when he decided to do aerobics. Bed was comfy, and they give lots of toiletries. Those are the only pluses. They have a remodel scheduled to start May 2016, but I saw no sign of it.

I stayed at this Sheraton for three nights. It is conveniently located near the Crossroads Center with economical restaurants and a great movie theater. There is a nice IHOP right next door and the restaurant hotel is quite good as well. Sheraton's seem to favor putting two down comforters on their beds even in Tucson, AZ in June! In addition, the windows are not very sound proof. Overall, the room was very clean and comfortable.

I've stayed here several times first time when my mother was having her knees replaced because it is right next door to the Tucson Orthopedic office and hospital. Starbucks is in the lobby, plus a business center. Love the courtyard in the center with the pool. There is a small restaurant bar by the pool where there is a happy hour. Secure entrances from the parking lot into the building. They have nice linens and great pillows. Staff is very accommodating.

There was mold everywhere. Not just mold but black mold. The air ducts were filthy making the air not so clean to breath. Couldn't believe the response from the front desk manager that it was just over looked and the "mold" wipes right off. Yeah right. Stay somewhere else. Not worth breathing in toxins.

Hotel renovation is underway ... it's desperately needed! Rooms are very much in need of housekeeping that makes an effort to remove obvious large stains from furniture. Hotel staff was not friendly, with the exception of the night front desk attendant when we checked in. Made the mistake of leaving 3 clothing items hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we checked out, called on the same day, and on the next day ... about these items & never received a call back from housekeeping m... The lobby of this hotel is modern and up to date, but once getting to a room, it was a total shock. I don't believe I have ever seen carpets as dirty and soiled as were in the room where I stayed. I don't mean small stains, but huge, dark stains that covered large areas of the floor. It seems people have spilled things on the carpet and the hotel has done absolutely nothing to take care of the soiling and unsightly appearance that resulted. Also the air conditioning is one of the worst soundin... Read more

Attended a seminar last week at this location with a large group of people. My check in went smooth and professional. The check in area was nice and up to date with a very friendly and courteous staff. After receiving my room key, I walked to my room and found the room to be large and convenient in size, but lacking updates. The rugs were somewhat stained, the bathroom was small and the tub had stains on the bottom. The sofa in the room also had stains on it but I didn't use it. I checked ... Read more

The only reason I am giving this hotel 2 stars instead of one is because of the manager. She was kind and friendly although I was totally unhappy with this hotel. The lobby is nice and updated which gives a misleading idea for the rest of the hotel. Check in was smooth, acknowledged my Starwood membership and was given my room promptly. This room was beyond tired, it was exhausted! Stains all over the furniture, carpet. The carpet between the bedroom and the shower was so worn that the tack strip was showing. Teeny tiny bathrooms. They do have signs up saying that they are remodeling, when I was there I saw where they were remodeling, but heard no noise of it (which was great). Im sure they will be beautiful after the update. Upon checking in, we were grateful to have been "upgraded" to one of the specialty suites (by virtue of my wife being and SPG Gold member). However, we were sorely disappointed in the "leftover" suite we were assigned. While much of the property is under renovation, they apparently saved one last suite - for "one nighters" like us perhaps? This room was straight from the 70s - the decor was awful, the doors flimsy, the bathroom was god-awful. Internet connection? Uh. No. You could find the wir... Read more

The reviews posted below this one were mixed-to-bad to be honest. We were quite nervous about our stay, which was for a convention at the hotel. I checked in on Friday and was greeted very kindly by the two staffers at the front desk. Both were very cordial and prompt with service. Zero issues with staff, everyone I interacted with (albeit limited beyond check-in) was great. I repeat - no issues. So, was I going to get a renovated room? Would it be an "outdated dirty one" like the posts below? ... Read more

We billeted at Sheraton Tucson Hotel and Suites at E. Grant Ave. Hotel's interior is old but neat and room's spacious! Star bucks coffee, Tazo Tea as complimentary drinks in the room. The room was a suite, with a quiet air conditioner. The bathroom was a little cramped and on the older side. The carpet definitely showed wear. Again this was a non-renovated room, but it was very clean and fairly comfortable. The pillows were a little too soft and the bed was a little older. The fridge and sinks worked well, I really missed not having a microwave though. The staff was fantastic and the restaurant was decent and staff was attentive.
