This is one of the best LaQuinta's. They have a small bar available at the side of the breakfast area. They have a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, and even fresh salsa (not packets). For your elite reward they let you choose up to $5 worth of products from their selection. The staff is friendly, the open area is great, and the hotel has a good central location. It is just down the street from one of the best hotels in Tucson that is significantly more expensive. What more can you ask for... Read more

We had traveled two days to get to the hotel and were quite relieved to finally have arrived at our destination. The staff was personable and accommodating. My father is in his early 80s and desperately wanted to check in an hour early and relax in his room. The staff allowed him to do so and this kind gesture was very much appreciated by me. It allowed my father the ability to recoup from our journey and reinvigorate. Thanks!!!

We stayed at this La Quinta when we came to Tucson for my husband's rugby tournament. I've always had a good experience with La Quinta hotels but this one has truly stood out. The Manager on duty, Jason, was very friendly and accommodating when we arrived and gave us a lovely room on the ground floor with pool access. The room itself had great amenities and was very spacious. The next morning after a great night of sleep we went to the pool and enjoyed some lovely sun in a very quiet and rel... Read more

I had to stay here due to the U of A graduation. I was honestly not super happy about it, however the rooms are really nice considering. I would stay here again, but I probably won't not that is isn't good. I just have a hotel rewards card that isn't accepted there.

This hotel was great, everyone very helpful and friendly. Great location, maybe 10 minutes from airport. Rooms very clean, pool clean and attractive, and breakfast more than adequate choices. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Tucson area.

My husband and I and our 2 dogs just finished an quick overnight here. All in all, it's a good place to stay. All the staff were pleasant and professional. They made all of us, including our dogs, feel welcome. Our check-in was smooth and efficient. We had a nice, clean room. And, the air conditioning was on, which in Tucson in May is a great thing. There were a few things that caused me to lower my score. First of all, we had a stunning view of the roof and all its AC units. Secondly, while... Read more

I recently conducted a seminar at the La Quinta and I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel. The lobby is very nice, newly remodeled and very welcoming. The staff was fantastic -- attentive and helpful. The meeting room hallway is a little bland/dark but other than that, this is a great property. I wouldn't hesitate to book another seminar here.

When we reported the room smelled like smoke, the front desk said they were booked on suites, which is what we were staying in. I understand that but they did not offer us another room and just told us that all rooms were non-smoking. We stayed for two days and it made us kind of sick.

This La Quinta is a great location for anyone needing access to U of A, Reid Park and Central Tucson. Very attractive lobby and breakfast area. Our queen room was comfortable with a mini-fridge and microwave. Nice, big swimming pool with Jacuzzi, as well. I thought that the breakfast offerings seemed better than most complimentary fare and the front-desk staff was helpful and attentive. I mentioned a couple of minor issues to the hotel on a review email and got a prompt reply from the manager i... Read more

Spacious, clean rooms; huge pool; awesome location; AWESOME breakfast included; We'd DEFINITELY stay here again! Efficient check-in and check-out. La Quinta Rewards members get a $5 allowance for snacks or drinks from the bar. The breakfast was a huge hit with my teenagers!

We were on a bird watching trip and this La Quinta s about 20-25 minutes from both Mt. Lemmon and Saguaro National Park, and 15-20 minutes straight north of the "Safelite" burrowing owls. There are other places to stay in the area but this is an outstanding value. The room was fine. The pool, lobby, and breakfast area were more like a resort hotel. Every staff member we interacted with in the two nights we were there was friendly and helpful. The only negative, my wife thought the bed wa... Read more

We were on a bird watching trip to SEAZ and wanted a place to stay near Mt. Lemmon and Saguaro National Park. La Quinta-Reid Park is about 25 minutes from both. There are other hotels in the area but we thought this was a tremendous value. A nice room, an outstanding lobby, breakfast area, and pool. And the staff was very friendly and helpfull. It's a hotel, not a motel. It's a hotel, not a motel, and at a great price.

When we entered the hotel you could smell a smell. It was strong so we thought ok maybe just the lobby. Walking to the elevators we noticed how dirty and worn out the carpets are. We got to the room and said ok the room isn't so bad, went into the bathroom and find a 3inch cockroach in the tub! We stayed 2 nights and they didn't make up the room, had to ask for fresh towels! Wife was afraid to go back in the bathroom. Don't stay here, there are a lot of hotels in Tucson for the same price that a... Read more

This was a really nice, updated and large La Quinta we enjoyed our stay very much. The location is perfect because it is centrally located, around residential, quiet areas, could walk 3 min to a great sushi restaurant or a short drive to two main avenues to walk around at night. The room was nice, clean and a good size with a big window and were happy to was dog friendly but didn't smell like it. The nice housekeeper would give us a daily report on our dog and was sweet to her. The pool area and... Read more

The La Quinta Inn was very nice. The condition of our room was very good. Clean, no smells and the A/C worked like a champ. Nice sized bathroom and towels. Bring your own toiletries. The outside temps were hot......100 degrees plus, but our room was 67 degrees. Refreshing. The room has a micro & frig, both worked well. The front desk staff were efficient and pleasant. Breakfast was included, very simple. Plain scrambled eggs, with condiments to add to them, toast, bagels, waffles, sausage/ bacon... Read more

Really like this place. Between Jason at Front Desk, and a manager, Tanya, our experience with staff was no less than excellent... both were friendly and pro-active. That isn't that common out there, so we VERY MUCH appreciated their ways and efforts. Plus the room, so clean and comfortable, cute little pool-patio of our own ~ !

We stayed for three nights at this hotel to attend a college graduation. The rooms were larger than expected and had everything we needed. The lobby, lounge, breakfast area and bar were a nice addition, always clean and staff friendly. If we are in Tucson again we will definitely stay here.

My wife and I stay in mid-range motels often every year. Reid Park Tucson La Quinta ranks towards the top with the best. We stayed for 4 days. Clean rooms, decent sound deadening construction plus nice little touches like air diverter to keep the under-window air conditioner from blowing the drapes all over and a wall mounted thermostat with constant-on fan option to mask typical hotel noises. Extended breakfast hours (6-9 weekdays, 6-10 weekends) allow for both early or late risers to take... Read more

This particular motel needs improving of linens, AC and the noise level between rooms. I do like it's location which is close to the university and the east side of tucson which is where I meet my clients. It's also close to golfing and good restaurants in the east side of town.

Nice place, near malls, zoo, parks. Just in the middle of everything. Fast check-in and check-out, clean. friendly staff, big rooms. The best location in town if you need to go everywhere. The inconvenient at night is when you try to find a parking space and the parking lot is full, even U-haul trucks using three spaces

The place was clean and ready when arrival but the stay neither welcomed us or helped us to locate the room or gave us any kind of information on the pool location and breakfast time. The view of the hotel was nice and we did use the pool and was clean but not enough towels. They were able to find us 2 rooms side by side which was very much needed.

We have stayed at the La Quinta near the Tucson Airport numerous times. This was our first stay at this property. Our room was nice sized with a view of the pool area. The room was clean with plenty of towels. We did not use the pool but I did walk down for a closer look. I really liked the larger size of the pool and that it has a couple of areas that are only 1 foot deep. Perfect for little ones or just sitting in the water. This was a decent property. From the breakfast description on the website, I expected more choices. Room was decent. Stairwells were dirty and in need of vacuuming. Pool was nice. The pool towels were never re-stocked during our stay. The "business center" printer was out of toner. I let the front desk staff know, but it was still out the next day.

We've stayed here before and have no complaints. This time we stayed in a two room suite which was very spacious, though it felt like it hadn't been used in a long time and did not have a fresh, clean feeling to it -- in fact some small flies actually flew out of the drain when we turned the water on. I called down to the front desk from my room and let it ring about 15 times with no answer, so those are really my only issues. The staff were nice, the pool is great, and the continental breakfast ...
