Stayed here for business and was impressed. Spotless rooms and good service. Breakfast is limited choice but was really good each day, much better than a big buffet. The hotel is located in a Plaza with a good bar and a mexican restaurant

This hotel is close to the place where I am attending meetings. I have stayed at a number of hotels in Tucson over the last twenty five years. Many of them are nice but this particular hotel is quiet so I can work. It is near many useful shops and stores (Trader Joe's) and is a very good one for my purposes. It is one of the few on the north side of town for the price. If it had a restaurant it would be perfect. It is clean, quiet, and pet friendly. The staff is there when you need them and not... -Good AC shouldn't be louder than TV -Premium wireless should be better than free wireless - no finger pointing on services you advertise and provide with you name on. -privacy should not be out weighed by convenience. -leave a note when doing shift change, after promising a guest request, especially for room location. -Room doors shouldn't be so heavily spring loaded that they slam. -Rubber bumpers on glass shower doors (both ends) -Instructions for uncommon light and fan switched.

Fairly Large Room,,with small kitchen. We always book a suite, so we can have our 2 year old in a different area of the hitl room in his travel crib. Hotel had pretty good hot breakfast. They also serve dinner Monday to Thursdays, except holidays. We stayed over the weekend, so did not have a dinner provided by the hotel. At breakfast, they could have more than two baby chairs. But we got one of the two, so no biggie for us. We enjiyed going to the pool, no one else was there ... but it was a ... Read more

My family and I were in town for a wedding. On the day of the event housekeeping arrived as we were getting ready at which point we asked if they could return after we had left. A time was given and the housekeeper agreed to return. We returned to the room later that evening to find that the room was exactly as we had left it. There was also, apparently, an issue with one of the boilers in the hotel that caused the rooms to be without hot water (super annoying when trying to bathe a two year ... Read more

I enjoyed our weekend away!! But I didn't care much for the location at all. We were confused when we pulled up to the Hotel, it was located in some sort of shopping center.... with no real views. That staff were very friendly. I loved the Friday night pool party/ movie for the children. Room service was okay!!! It was pricy but always incomplete and late. The young lady at the front desk was rude.

This hotel was remodeled in the past few years. It has acceptable furniture and a small kitchen with everything you need for light cooking. The bedroom and bath are nice, with a nice walk-in shower. The living room is a bit small for more than 2 or three people. We did not sample the breakfasts or the happy hour food during our weekend stay. This is a good place to stay with a dog. However, they do charge extra for the pet. The A/C works very well and is quiet. They even have a ceiling fan in th... Read more

Sending a child to the UofA in August. This will be our hotel of choice for the next 4 years. Staff was friendly, acknowledging my membership in Hilton HHonors (used the app for selecting room & checking in for greater ease). Hotel was clean, with no funky or musty hotel hallway smells. They allow pets, even saw one, but never heard nor smelled them. Room was ample size for the family with 2 comfy queens in bedroom and a sofabed used by 6'5" 16 year old. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was looking for a Hilton property and this one is a gem in Tucson. Pros: Bed was comfortable, TV in bedroom worked fine, farmers market next door to hotel on the weekends. Cons: large lampshade was sitting in the middle of my kitchen table when I arrived (when reported it, removal was not offered - only moving rooms, which was too much of a pain for me at that point), dead cockroach in middle of hall outside of my room as I was leaving to checkout, Complimentary Internet was extremely slow - even for just checking email.

Great hotel, great accommodation accept the pet friendly issue. Pet friendly hotels should know that if the owner is t present do not enter. Also that pet owners will clean up most accidents. We got stuck with a terminated stay, had to work oh a room change and stash the pet elsewhere after deep clean fees for a pet accident while we were away because housekeeping entered and our small dog drakes and had an accident. So not pet friendly if the staff causes the accident!

You can literally walk out the door of the hotel, cross the parking lot for 20 feet, and be on the loop. Great for cyclists, runners, or anyone just interested in walking on Tucson's phenomenal Loop path. Th... Read more

we stayed at this hotel for over 2 months. During our stay the staff were excellent and very helpful in every way. The food is challenging for a long term stay and needed more variety. However, the kitchen staff took good care of us at all times.

Saturday 10/15 @ 4:56 pm we returned to our room (after a long hot day at the UOA football game). We were ready to cool off, relax and shower. However our room still had not been cleaned? I called FD, they said they would send someone ASAP and call us back. No call back and no one shows up to refresh, clean room. So I go out to the hallway (housekeeping was still there) and I just asked for some towels and explain to Mikki (housekeeping) that our room had not been clean, but I just would take fr... Read more

We love this Homewood Suites. It's a great location, the price is very reasonable, the suites are very nice and the complementary breakfast is wonderful. The hotel has had a make over and everything is fresh and clean. And I love the farmers market at St Phillips plaza on the weekends.

This is a clean, upgraded comfortable place to stay. We have been loyal to the Hilton Brand for many years. Our first exposure to the Homewood Suites was in Atlanta for a wedding. Love the Monday to Thursday manager events. It reduces costs of full dinners at restaurants and the friendly staff atmosphere is great. This hotel has modern suites that while not overly large are very comfortable. Location is quiet and walking/biking area close by. Wholesome grocery store Trader Joes close by. Staff... Read more

This hotel was so comfortable which means a lot when I am away on business. The breakfast and evening social were a big plus. The location was great - an easy walk to good restaurants and shopping. Homewood Suites is now my top choice. I hope they are all like this one.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location for our wedding block! St Philip's Plaza is stunning, with great restaurants, farmer's market, the river walk, etc! All rooms have a kitchenette and include free breakfast! The updated lobby is pretty and very clean. Everyone was very pleased with the hotel. The king size suite was fantastic for me (bride) and my bridesmaids to get ready that day and perfect for our stay after the wedding.

I stayed one night at this hotel. I was very pleased with the location. The complimentary appetizers and beer during the social event was a welcome surprise. I was very impressed with the outdoor pool and spa area. I had it all to myself.

The accommodations were excellent however the location was even better being located in a plaza with 3 restaurants and numerous shops all within easy walking distances of our hotel. Definitely would stay there again.

I stayed here for just one night and in that very short time I experienced rudeness on two occasions which created a very poor experience, I took the time to write the manager because it bothered me that much but nothing was even attempted to make amends even though they have a 100% satisfaction Guaranty, that of course I now know is false, instead they wrote me and said thank you for helping them to improve, basically blowing me off, This hotel simply does not have the hospitality spirit, I can... This was our first stay at a Homewood Suites by Hilton. It was a pleasure. The suite was very large, beautifully appointed and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We were pleased with the accommodating staff, a very full complementary breakfast and such amenities as a work out room and a pool. The location was central and easy to find, located in an upscale shopping area. We would definitely stay here again.

The Homewood Suites in Tucson are in a convenient location to much of the professional and recreational parts of the city and Pima County. Very warm and professional staff, we felt as if they truly cared that our stay would be enjoyable. We had a generously-sized suite with a kitchenette, everything one needed for a relaxing stay. St. Philip's Plaza even had a small farmer's market and crafts fair on Saturday morning. Can't go wrong with this property, great value.

The HS at St. Philip's Plaza is a great place to stay in Tucson. Across from Trader Joe's to maximize in-room kitchen use. Numerous good restaurants at St. Philip's Plaza make eating out easy and enjoyable. The Hotel was quiet; full complimentary morning breakfast included scrambled eggs, meat, potatoes, fruit, cereal, and good coffee! Pool was relaxing. Complimentary Internet fast and efficient. This is my hotel of choice when staying in Tucson.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Tucson and like my title states.. nice rooms, awful location. Yes, St Phillips Plaza is nice and you can walk around a bit that is the only area that it's comfortable to walk around. We attempted to walk to Trader Joe's across the street and even taking the under bridge path it was confusing and stressful. Tucson, in general, is very car centric and to go downtown or to the university you must turn left out of the hotel. For two full day... Read more

We had never stayed at a Homewood Suites before but chose it because of the kitchen in the suite. This was important to us because we were visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving and wanted to contribute to the meal. The kitchen was perfect with a full refrigerator and two burner stove. The suite itself was very comfortable. We were very surprised to find out that the hotel actually offered free dinners from Monday thru Thursday during the happy hour. We were only there one night but th... Read more

This hotel is located in a luxurious shopping center with a great selection of nice stores and restaurants in walking distance, and both downtown and La Encantada within a short drive. The property is pristine and the suites well-appointed with a full-size refrigerator, range top, microwave, dishwasher, and dishes/silverware/pots/coffeemaker, etc. The hotel offers a lovely breakfast and an evening heavy hors d'oeuvre, included in the room rate.
