Very clean hotel- the Staff is the best! I use it frequently when in town for business. Location is convenient, neighborhood slightly "scary", but the Hotel has Security monitoring the Parking Lot and I have never had any issues. Hilton/Hampton can be proud of this location and its staff.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the hotel was quiet. On Sunday morning, Renee in the kitchen did a stellar job of keeping the breakfast area stocked with everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on the way to Kitt Peak Observatory and had a great experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided us with to-go bags that they made up in 20 minutes and were very accommodating with any request we had. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is similar to most Hampton Inns. Anytime you stay at a Hampton Inn, you can count on a decent to good continental style breakfast, decent to good internet speeds, a decent gym, and clean, modern, comfortable room. This Hampton Inn is no different in those respects. If you'd like an enhanced gym experience, this locale has a deal with a local gym in which you can use their facilities for free. It's probably 1.5 miles or so from the hotel, near downtown Tucson. The area around this h... Read more

This hotel was our home away from home for 4 days and we were very comfortable. We didn't use the pool, exercise room, or eat the breakfast but everything else was perfect. The room was clean and refreshed each day. The location was conveniently located to all we wanted to do each day. We will be back!

Ranesha at front desk was delightful. Property was located near family. Hilton Honors members, so that factored into our choice of this property. Hotel could use a facelift and some lipstick. Breakfast disappointing.

We got a pet friendly room for a one night stay. The entire floor, room, and elevators smelled like sweaty wrestling mats from the gym. The bathroom wasn't particularly clean looking, but I think it was because the tub was older. The beds and bedding were quite clean. The pool was greenish and had leaves in it. We also went down for the breakfast at 8:30--they serve breakfast from 6AM to 10AM. It was mainly defrosted frozen pastries, cereal, and waffles. The other Hampton Inns I've stayed at at... Read more

I stayed here 3 nights on a business trip. The hotel is immaculately clean, and the staff were super-friendly and helpful. But compared to other Hampton Inns, this property is older and not quite as comfortable. The decor is drab tans and a lot of the lights are fluorescent, for example, giving the ambience of a Days Inn. One of the rooms I stayed in (I had to change rooms mid-visit because of a cable issue) had an old AC unit that cycled on and off noisily, disrupting my sleep. I woke up early,... Read more

Good stay as always. Will be back. Staff is always courteous and helpful. We stay here every time we visit our grandkids, which is at least 2 times a year or more. Usually, we bring out little do which is not a problem with the hotel.

This is a seemingly older Hampton Inn. The breakfast area is small, but we did not have any problem finding a spot to sit because not many people were there. Our first morning, the breakfast bar was stocked continuously with many choices. The second morning there were very few choices, and I never saw an attendant. Both mornings the trash cans were filled to the brim. The room is typical size, with large beds. The bedding had some permanent stains, though clean. The bathroom was dated. An adequa... Read more

The Hampton Inn in Tuscon AZ was a nice retreat from the road. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are very clean. There is swimming pool on premises(I didn't use but other guests were enjoying it). Internet service is available as complementary or for small fee premium. All of the staff that I encountered were very pleasant. There is complimentary breakfast available in the morning from 7-10 am(longer than most other hotels that I have stayed at). As others have stated, this hotel is very convenient to I 10, Downtown Tucson, and U of A. Best of all, the Dragoon Brewing Company is just up the street on Grant Rd! An older property that has been completely remodeled, we had a very comfortable stay and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only drawback is a lack of restaurants within walking distance with only IHOP and Del Taco that are closeby. But there are many more within a 2 mile drive up to Oracle Rd or Speedway Blvd.

Just came back from this property. It's a pretty standard H.I., but after staying in Alpine and Fort Stockton Texas, (both newer properties), I'd say this place has a way to go. Friendly greeting at the front desk, and status recognized. We were each given a bottle of water; but had to ask for the other amenity, which we picked a sweet. The rooms are standard Hampton Inn, so I'm not complaining. The beds and pillows were spot on. Good pressure in the shower, along with good towels. Standard b... Read more

This hotel was a great find for us. We were traveling through Tucson and just needed a good night sleep. We had a very easy check in and the employee was very friendly. Our room was room number 500 and it was at the end of a hall and there wasn't a sound all night! Would always try to book this room. Inside the room there was terrific lighting which most hotels do not have. There were only two minor details that we were not happy with in this room..first one was the toilet seat was very lo... Hotel is in a very good location as far as traveling is concerned. Very near the I 10. Rms. were very clean and quiet. Didn't care a lot for the breakfast options but restaurants across the street and nearby where you can purchase breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Have a swimming pool in the back. A little difficult to get into if you haven't been there before but a snap to figure out. Would definately stay here again

After driving for hours this hotel offered a comfortable, clean and friendly stay. Breakfast was a treat, the person in charge made sure our table was wiped clean before we sat down , and yes, the eggs were real, not powered! Breakfast was a treat. Have stayed several times at Hampton Inns so expected the same or better level of accommodations for the one-night business stay. It was better than some and not as nice as others but overall a decent experience. I did not have some of the problems reviews of competitor hotels got. This hotel was clean, and staff was friendly. The free breakfast and Wifi sure helped make things easy on my business trip. We had the occasion to stay at the Hampton South October 4-8, 2016. We chose this one, because it was close to everything, including our family that resides in Tucson. Our room was ready and our adult children were able to be very close to us on the same floor. The breakfast was substantial and had everything available to eat and drink.
