I have stayed at this hotel several times while traveling to Tucson with my boyfriend and our 2 dogs, and we always have a great experience. The staff is always available with a friendly smile and ready to assist with any request. What we love most about the hotel is that they are animal friendly, and that they don't charge an additional fee for it. We feel comfortable bringing our dogs in and out without complaint. The ONLY thing I don't like about this hotel is the parking lot...it's tiny and ... Read more

I have never had more trouble with a hotel. First of all, the amenities in the hotel did not work when I arrived. I had to have an "engineer" come up and fix the television and then it did not work the following day. Furthermore, the coffee machine plug was so bent that I had to spend at least 5 minutes unbending it so that I could fit it into the outlet. I also had the sink faucet fly off at one point but at least I was able to fix that on my own. I could not wait to go home after all the troub... Read more

I travel a lot and this hotel met or exceeded all of the things I look for in a hotel. Clean rooms with good space, good Wi-Fi, and helpful staff. When I arrived I needed some extra help and Lindsay had all the answers. From restaurants and directions to the UofA along with the closest Best Buy and Office Max so I could recover from forgetting things I would need. She printed the directions and even helped me figure out the Uber app so I could get there.

I stayed here while visiting U of A in May, 2016. The room was large and comfortable and the hotel is new and reasonably well appointed. WiFi is free and the breakfast is a cut above the usual business hotel fare. On the negative side, the road noise from Speedway was quite noticeable, the window shades did not block out all light and the HVAC was fairly loud. All in all, a reasonable hotel.

1st - great location and reasonable prices, especially if you're visiting the UofA. Room and bed were both comfortable. 2nd - there's something on the roof - HVAC or something that runs most of the time. I would recommend avoiding a 7th floor room. As whatever motor was running changed pitch, the light fixture in the bathroom would rattle annoyingly. Finally, I had to stuff tissue under the glass to stop the noise.

Our visit here was a for business trip. In addition to this hotel being convenient to the UA campus, it was also convenient to the business site. It was reasonably priced and chosen by the company for it's location. The room was clean and equipped with all the amenities needed. We had a second floor location facing Speedway which was a bit noisy, even with the a/c running. I did like that the a/c was adjustable. There is ample parking in the rear and even an underground garage. If you are famil... Read more

So I just checked out after two nights at the ALoft. Great stay with a amazing staff. Seth checked us in and he was so nice and recommend some great places to us to check out. We were traveling for a trip to UofA and location is perfect for this. The hotel itself is nice with spacious rooms and clean facility. The only thing lacking is the pool it's not awful just nothing super exciting but great for a quick cool off. If I d some hotel ac can be tough this hotel stayed nice and cool which... Read more

I stayed at Aloft and was really disappointed in the room and customer service. The bathroom was filthy and remained filthy even after housekeeping came. The manager seemed pretty unconcerned about my experience. They did give me spg points but I won't be using those after my experience. I have never stayed in such a disgusting room.

Easy check in and location. All the of usual hip style of the Aloft, including a comfortable bed and engaging lobby. Walkable to eating options and the freeway. Pet friendly, which is was really appreciated on this road trip with my four legged best friend!

This is an average hotel but has a great location to UA campus and you can't beat the price point. We have stayed here many times while visiting the UA campus. Unfortunately we have not always had the cleanliest rooms. Housekeeping seems to negligent the movable wall to the bathroom. I'm always tidying it up with cleaning wipes. This time our shower was leaking into the hallway as well. Staff is friendly and parking is always available in the underground lot.

This hotel was shockingly bad. As they were linked to W hotels I thought it would be nice. Could not have been more wrong. I invite you to compare the photos on the website to the ones I took of the grounds. It looked like a rooftop pool to me, as you can see, it was not. The mattress felt broken down, everything seemed dirty. Walls in the bedroom were covered by carpet which when poked expelled dust. You can see the filth on the floor/baseboards. I woke up feeling sick both mornings I st... Read more

We have stayed at Aloft Tucson several times due to its close proximity to the University of Arizona. This time, we stayed one night during college orientation. Our hotel room was clean and quiet with the usual Aloft amenities. The lobby was attended by friendly university students and was very casual. Our only complaint was that the lobby/lounge bar was closed although the it stated it was open on the website and elevator signs. This left us scrambling to find a place to watch the NBA play... I stayed 4 nights in this hotel back in late September 2015 and completely forgot to write a review. Based on my memory of the hotel and pictures that I took; this hotel is a bit different both interior and room wise. As this was my first stay in a Aloft property; I was surprised by the mixture of contemporary and modern look combined with color shades of purple and maroon, and somewhat of a college mood given that Arizona State University was across the street. The room was also different tha... Read more

Have stayed at an Aloft before an enjoyed it but will now rethink my choices. This hotel was just not that clean and too top it off one of two elevators was broken. It was over 100 degrees in the covered garage and I was traveling with 4 cases of really good wine, 2 computers and a dog. It took me over an hour to get my things to the 4th floor. At one point I asked an employee if I could use the service elevator because it was taking the elevator so long to get back to the garage. Nope, had to w... Read more

Love that the decor is modern. Area is a typical college town. Room was clean. There are more than enough wall power outlets for all of our devices (2 laptops, 2 iPads, 2 cell phones, 2 apple watches), Wifi connection in the room is fast enough and bed is so comfy!!!

The service at this hotel was excellent. The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The property includes free parking and WiFi. There's a snack bar in the lobby and a bar and pool table. Nice pool but a bit small. Close to the freeway and not far from Park Place Mall. Great for a day of shopping. There are many restaurants in the area so you'll never go hungry. All and all I would return the next time I'm in Tucson.

Stayed for 2 nights, last minute change of plans (you know how that goes). I had my doubts when booking this hotel, but apparently I had no reason to. The hotel is well located, walking distance from food chains. easy access to main roads. Good night sleep, good wifi.

We stayed here for a night on our way to Palm Springs. Hotel is very nice, clean, with a nice onsite bar and truly in a perfectly location in comparison to the university. Only complaint is there is a hospital and your on the main drag so any room facing the streets all you hear is sirens roaring all night. Don't think I would stay again just because of the noise. They need to upgrade the window quality.

We stayed here one night in August before taking an Amtrak train. We went on our student nephews recommendation, with slim expectations. We're we ever surprised-the room was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed and edgy-modern bath, and with a great mountain view. Nice Vietnamese restaurant right next door. Plenty of to-go breakfast goods in the lobby at reasonable prices. I would definitely stay here again.

Aloft is a hip hotel that is roomy with new, upbeat decorating. We stayed on the 7th floor and had great views of the mountains in the distance. Wifi was fast, as promised. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well appointed with a tile, walk-in shower. The exercise room and pool were small but adequate and clean. They have a billiards table in the lobby and a nice bar with drinks that weren't too expensive. You can get a-la-carte breakfast there or there are a couple of fast fo... Read more

Dingy is not too strong a word. Mouse traps in the stairwells, with creepy dark elevators. It looks repurposed from something but we could not tell what. The staff is uniquely uninterested in helping to resolve complaints. It is convenient to the University campus but I did not feel safe walking to my car at night.

I usually stay at the Aloft for one reason, convenience to the university. My one big gripe. I booked 6 months ahead of time for 3 nights. At the time I booked it was a per night rate. When we arrived decided to stay 2 nights and we were then charged a higher rate for the 2 nights because management decided there's a 3 night minimum. Huh? I let the staff know when I booked there was no minimum but they didn't care. Pity to change the rate without notice.

It's a good location for visiting UA. Unfortunately it lacks in basic housekeeping. We've stayed here several times and almost every time walls have been dirty or light switches. An inch worth of dust accumulated on the black tile base in the bathroom. It's disappointing because the staff is great & it's a wonderful price point for the area. There's a nice outdoor space & general common areas. Parking is plentiful.

This hotel serves a specific purpose - being close and convenient to the University. It is great for that! I highly recommend packing your own bath products, specifically shampoo and conditioner because this hotel provides "all-in-one" in a wall dispenser. It turned my hair into sticks.

I've stayed here twice. Don't know exactly why a second time, but I did. The first time going was mainly because I wanted to stay at all the hotels in Tucson and rate them and have the experience. Rather its cheap or expensive, scary or welcoming, luxurious or run down. One of the reasons I wanted to check the Aloft out was for whatever reason believing this not hard to believe thing I heard about the hotel having a pool on the roof. Ok, not great. Picture of pool on webpage does not appear to be of this property. Staff did pretty well. Room could have been cleaner. Ceiling in room looked very bad. Nails visible in fabric panels hung from ceiling. The Aloft brand has great potential. They need better workmanship in the construction phase to improve the overall experience.

I stayed here for a week during the last week of October. It had a hip vibe to it and the room was well set up to meet my travel needs. The sheets on the bed were a bit rough and my room overlooked Speedway Blvd. I could hear people drag racing down the street at night. I wish I had packed my ear plugs.
