I enjoyed my stay. No disturbance. Everyone was really nice. I appreciated the reading table in the first room . The second room didn't have such but I understood the rooms are different for different clientele

No complaints everything was great, even with the construction behind the hotel. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and a nice breakfast. The only thing I had an issue with is the soft bed, but my parents loved the bed. The room had fridge which we took full use of. Location was good, close to family and downtown.

Nice facilities. Called and got the AAA price, so when I arrived a few minutes later, I identified myself as the AAA caller. Clerk processed me and had me sign and initial places without explaining. Checked out next day with no problems (was very quick process) and Next day when I opened email receipt, I noticed I was given the AAA discount. Called and the clerk took down my information and said manager will call me back next day (monday). I never got a call back.

Man who checked us in did not greet us and was not friendly. Stayed before and found fewer breakfast choices this time. Only one regular coffee was stocked, and no tissues were provided until I asked. Mattress cover was disgusting. Paid more this time due to demand (graduation week) but wanted to be close to ASU campus. May return since my first experience was better. Hoping comments will be addressed. Construction next door but not too loud early morning. A/C kept us cool and although not too l... Read more

Good enough, over all. Very convenient to ASU with a couple good restaurants around the corner. An old building, a safe location, the usual motel breakfast with waffles. The room was rather dim and dusty, but pretty big & pretty comfy, biggish mini-fridge, good air conditioner, plenty of hot water, parking outside the room, internet worked fine. Not for the fastidious or fussy, but a reasonable place for a few nights.

We had booking the reservation thru Booking. Com and requested late check in at 5pm. The hotel check in was fast without any question even the reservation was booked without any pre- payment made. The room was clean, with new carpets. Hearty breakfast was provided with yogurts and apples too. Swimming pool was just across our room but it was cold days for swimming. Ample parkings were plenty. Lots of restaurants and fast food in 5 minutes walk only.

After reading many reviews for the various motels in the area, I chose this one. It had the best reviews and amenities I was looking for. (Pool, hot tub, mini-fridge and free wifi). It was a little further from my destination but worth the extra drive. No complaints!!

I chose this motel because its location to ASU. The check in went well and the clerk was helpful. I had trouble opening the door and the clerk came out and showed me how - all thumbs on my hands. The room was tidy and close to the pool. The carpet showed signs of a lot of college parties but that is to be expected. The only complaint is that the towels weren't freshened for the second day. The breakfast was typical for a motel. There was some major construction next door at a private stud... Read more

Stayed here while looking for apartments for my daughter (going to ASU in the fall). This hotel was part of a package through another travel website. Chosen for it close proximity to ASU and lower package rate, we didn't know what to expect. An abandoned overturned sleeper sofa greeted us from the sidewalk in front of the property. Hmm, Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore . . . This older property is located very conveniently on Apache Blvd about 15 minutes from Skyharbor Airport and less than... Read more

I didn't expect a 5-star hotel, so based on that I was happy with the accommodations. Clean being the key criteria. That and working plumbing. And I didn't want to feel creeped out, either. Okay on that front as well.

Reception was not very friendly. Room was threadbare and there 3 in our family group but only 2 towels. I did not want experience the less than welcome attitude of the reception clerk. The WiFi password would not function so we gave up and used our data plan. We have been to quite a few Wyndham properties and this was the worst Quickstart breakfast that we have had.

I chose this motel because I thought it was pet friendly. When I got there the sign said small dogs are allowed with approval for a $10 fee per pet. Other than that, it was a nice room for the price. They are doing some construction next door, so the noise might be a problem if you plan to sleep in.

I chose this motel because of it's location. It's close to my child's apartment in Tempe. It's nothing fancy, but the bed was very comfortable and my room was clean and nice and actually fairly quiet considering the location. The people working there seemed nice and I didn't have any issues. I did not eat breakfast there (I ate with my child), so I cannot comment on that.

This is a good place to stay when in the Tempe area on business. The rates are reasonable and the motel is in a little better than average shape. Its is an older motel but still pretty well maintained. The ladies are the front desk are really good to work with but one gentlemen leaves a lot to be desired. Not a people person nor is he a service oriented person. I don't do the breakfast because I am on the road earlier than they open. I feel that this is just a good solid go to place to stay when... Stayed here because of proximity to ASU Tempe. Ridiculously EXPENSIVE! Room was clean & comfy and included fridge & microwave. The free breakfast was very basic and we had to ask that several things be restocked. Apparently there is only one coffee maker which means once the pot is empty, a new one must brew which takes several minutes. Not very efficient when so many people drink coffee w/breakfast. Great location but way overpriced.

For its rock bottom price it's an excellent place to stay! Friendly staff, great location in N. Tempe/ASU, very clean, quiet rooms. Beds don't have the most fantastic mattresses and the carpet was a little threadbare, but this location is my "go-to" in the price range. No sign of long term guests like most of the other motels at this price.

Basically a place to sleep, not much more. Man at front desk not very helpful, seemed more intent on excessively. Critiquing coworker. He ignored line of guests as he hovered over her shoulder during guest check in. Meanwhile the line behind guest kept waiting. Breakfast very limited at 7am. More fresh fruit would have been nice.

I've used this Super 8 for 3 years for quarterly business trips to ASU. This hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from ASU campus, and a 10-minute walk from two light rail stations (in opposite directions) and many restaurants. So I've never needed to rent a car. The rooms are comfortable, fairly recently remodeled, and clean. The service is friendly. A couple of small negatives: the internet was a little slow at times (but not severely) and the hotel is on the opposite corne... Read more

I'm used to staying at Hyatt's, Hiltons and Marriott Hotels. I was put up here, due to a schedule change on my flight. This is definitely a Motel and if you're are looking for cheap, you'll get cheap. Although the room seemed to be clean I found someone else's hair in the bathroom. If you get the rooms in the back it is fairly quiet, the front is right on a Main Street and horribly loud. Don't expect anything but a motel at this motel.

I just stayed for four nights as a solo traveler at the ASU/Tempe Super 8 and wanted to give it two thumbs up. We thought everything was okay, but the front desk day time person should have been friendly. There was an instance at the hotel at 5 am in the morning where the young couple next to us were fighting and the girl was crying "Don't hit me" at 5:00 am, woke us from our sleep. The male in the room was slamming her against the wall. The police were called. five minutes later they left and it stated up all over again. The girl cried until 8:00 am. We stayed at the Super 8 Motel a few weeks ago, and we were actually impressed with the place. It needs a face lift, but the pool is delightful and the front desk staff were great, especially Teece.
