Great location, amazing service & very clean hotel. As a travel agent I travel a bit and tend to be a bit picky about service & quality. This was my first time here & I was impressed by everything from check-in to check-out. Although we never ate breakfast or room service I overheard more than one group in the hotel grounds talking about how great the food was, especially for a free breakfast

Everything about our visit was mixed. Nice, attentive, friendly check in, then an issue with bar staff and manager being unprofessional. Very attractive property. Rooms are fine but need a little more care, water stains on the ceiling and and stains on the sofa and chair. Request for extra towels and pillows was met very quickly. Room service trays left in corridors over night, not very pretty to look at. Breakfast was great, good selection and attentive staff. Check out was met with an i... Read more

Overall this was a very nice facility. There is a bowling alley across the street and within a couple of miles there is a nice man made lake with two restaurants, Very nice atmosphere. Having a suite makes the stay so much nicer. Also by having the free breakfast and free drinks at night makes it all the better.

We will NOT return to this Hilton property. Front desk staff was great! BUT......Despite the busy Memorial Holiday weekend, the upkeep, cleanliness throughout the property should not have been ignored. There were dirty dishes, trays, used drinkware, pizza boxes, etc. left outside hotel rooms, stairwells, balconies, etc. Also saw used sheets/linens left on the walkway floor outside one hotel room and in a hotel storage room...just disgusting! LOVED the breakfast buffet and the made-to-order eggs & omelets....juice was great & I could get my morning caffeine fix with the soda machine (of course, they also had coffee & tea!). Downside - Noisy on the freeway side, our room had filthy carpet with large stains and your socks were black after walking around on it. Blankets had holes and tears and the iron did not get hot enough to iron anything. Below par for other Embassy Suites I have stayed at. Upside breakfast was great, and ALL of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a bad location. Would stay again only if they did a room make over. All other areas of the hotel seemed to be very clean.

This location is easy to find and close to shopping and restaurants. The layout of the hotel was very confusing, to me. My room was clean and comfortable. The guest services desk was staffed with efficient personnel. The breakfast was extended and the lady who was cooking the omelets was amazing. I enjoyed the delicious food. The pool was clean and refreshing. I saw black bunnies hopping around the property each day and that was cute.

The bed was excellent as was the AC, and the roon was quiet, despite overlooking the US-60 freeway. But my big complaint about the room was the shower head. It did not function properly, was... Great staff, rooms, hotel. We had arrived a bit early. OK, too early. Check in time is like 3pm. We were there about 1030 am. We had decided to hang out in the lobby area and catch some games while we waited. I've been staying here for 20+ years. One of the employees saw us waiting around, spoke with the check in staff and BAM, we had our room. Thanks again .

I would recommend this hotel based on prior stays at this hotel. The front desk staff are wonderful, especially Mike and Shoko. The evening reception is great, especially when ana is working, she is very helpful and friendly. Pam, the morning cook is outstanding. She makes wonderful omelettes.

The Tempe Embassy Suites has three big plusses: location to ASU and ASU-related activities, comfortable rooms, and an awesome staff. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to take good care of their guests. The hotel is worn (e.g.: spotty, old chairs in the breakfast room), but the welcoming atmosphere compensates.

Generally a very nice hotel situated in Tempe, AZ. Nice patio with bar and great breakfast. The pool is nice, the gym a bit too small. Watch out, which room number in which building is assigned to you. There are the cheaper rooms in the back of the campus facing the freeway. Expect some noise there. There are other rooms in the center of the premises facing the patio that are much quieter that either have a balcony or own patio (pool view rooms). Pay attention that the pool view rooms in the mai... Read more

Excellent 2 nights at this hotel. Close to PHX with free shuttle service within a 5 mile radius. Staff was exceptional (especially the shuttle van drivers). The staff was very friendly and welcoming and eager to help with restaurant suggestions and directions. The 2-room suite was very clean and well stocked with the usual amenities. I loved the microwave in the kitchen area. The breakfast was very generous and the staff working the omelet station was wonderful. The evening "Happy Hour" w... Read more

Only one night stay at this hotel. Even though we have been at this hotel in the past, yet it was a great stay. Hotel is not new. It has a great breakfast every morning and it saves lots of money. Can't go wrong with Embassy Suites, some are new, some are old but still great stays when it comes down to it.

Received a smoking room when I booked a non smoking. Room furnishings were old and scratched up, stains on sofa. This was the worst Hilton brand hotel I've stayed at. Staff was friendly and tried to resolve issues, but were unable to.

Our checkin was quick. The front desk guys held our luggage so we could run to the bar to order a drink before Happy Hour was over. We dined in the restaurant. The service wasn't the greatest, but the food was good. We also were able to meet the property bunny rabbit. Clearly, he's well received and many of the "regulars" brought treats for him.

Decent facility overall, with easy access from the airport. They had a nice layout of the grounds for walking around and excellent variety for breakfast - omelets, French toast etc. Staff was pleasant. Pool and patio area were welcoming. Room was a bit dated.

I have stayed at many Embassy Suites so I was happy to find a rate here for less than $100/night. However, it did not take long to lear why the price is lower than others. I came here with three friends for four nights. We asked for rooms near each other facing away from the street. This forced them to move us but we had to wait about an hour while our rooms were cleaned. We went to them and found that they faced the street and decided not to go back to the desk. The property is not what you exp... Read more

We booked this hotel as a place to stay during a family wedding. We had a good experience with all of the staff, and enjoyed the breakfast and the evening reception. My husband and I met other family members there, but we were all able to sit together for breakfast even though we were a large-ish group. The rest of the family was happy with the hotel, too. I would book it again.

Recently stayed here for business and had no major complaints. Pros: central location, easy access to highway, fair pricing, large comfortable king suite, very nice up kept grounds, breakfast was good and complimentary. They have a family of bunnies living on the property; super cute and tame (if you don't like rabbits then you would call this is con but I'm calling it a win) Cons: the main lobby is detached from the actual hotel rooms- this isn't an issue for me but if you are looking for the... This past weekend (Oct 28-29, 2616, we held our 50-year high school reunion at this facility. As far as the reunion itself, there was a lot of back-and-forth discussion over a period of 2-3 months as we sorted everything about but our contact, Jennifer, was always helpful and accommodating. Some of stayed there 1-2 nights (my wife and I stayed both) and the room was everything we could have expected. We moved here from the E Suites PHX airport which was a let down. This one has a free airport shuttle. Located in a nice area within walking distance to several restaurants. Great happy hour staff. Black rabbits run around here. Spread out room layout, rather than a high rise hotel. Nice clean pool area. Rooms were typical of E Suites. Overall a nice place. We have 2 children at ASU so we are frequent visitors to the area. This is our hotel of choice. It is not the fanciest of places and I do agree with the reviews that this hotel is dated and the rooms are musty and in need of a facelift. In spite of that, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, hotel parking is easy, access to everywhere in Phoenix and Tempe is very convenient and the full breakfast is included with your room. It was ok but facing the hiway was LOUD. Outdated, room was nonsmoking but next to the ashtray so the smell permeated into the room. The pull out sofa was terrible and uncomfortable. The room/suite was tiny compared to others I've stayed in and the layout of the suites was poor.

The property itself is extensive and located right off of the intestate. Unfortunately the rooms are worn. Furniture and especially the bathrooms are outdated. TV was new and the bed was comfortable but this hotel lacks what I consider Embassy Suites quality. Staff was friendly and the fitness center was standard as was the breakfast.
