We were going for a Ft. Huachuca graduation. They are right outside the Buffalo Soldier Gate and not far from the main gate. Checkin was fairly straightforward for the three rooms (2 Kings and 1 Double-Queen) we booked. The rooms were large and had separate shower/tub and toilet from sink. Also had a "kitchen" sink, a microwave, and a small fridge. Rooms were very clean, as was the whole property. Most in our party of 7 availed themselves of the breakfast buffet and said it was very good. Th... Read more

Booked hotel based on reviews but was disappointed. Main desk staff was cordial but the house keeping service was horrible bathroom was not properly cleaned, tub was filthy counter top and sink was not clean. Daily room cleaning consisted of replacing dirty towels and trash removal nothing else. Will not stay again ???

My daughter graduated from US Army AIT at Ft. Huachuca in April, and I stayed at this hotel when not at on the base or exploring the surrounding area. This hotel is not the Ritz, nor did I expect it to be. But the rooms were clean, the room rate was great, and the staff was friendly. No complaints at all! The breakfast buffet was excellent and the server on duty was extremely amiable...she encouraged me to try the breakfast tortilla, and I'm glad I did. The location is very close to Ft. Huachuca... I booked this hotel through tripadvisor--2 beds, non-smoking. When we arrived last night, we were told that the online booking agents had overbooked the hotel, so there were no 2 bed rooms, non-smoking or smoking available. We were given a king bed for 3 people. First room the bed was not made--if they had the fitted sheets there I would have made the bed myself. Went back to the front desk, given another king bed room. Bed was ok, room appeared clean, tv has plenty of channels. Room has a... Read more

Breakfast was good and the spa felt great! Thank you for a great stay!

Terrible Hotel. Unprofessional staff. Even the manager is condescending and unprofessional. Air conditioning in our room was leaking and carpet was soaked. Bathroom was dirty. Smoking and drinking in courtyards at all hours. After mentioning the dirty condition of the room and the leaking air conditioner, the clerk at the desk told us there is nothing that can be done. We left. Phone call to the manager didn't help either. She is as rude as they come. Save yourself the headache and avoid this pl... Read more

Good old Sierra Suites--I have been coming back to this pace every time I visit Sierra Vista. Last visit was six years ago in 2010. at one point they were at the top of the competition Pros 1) price is hard to beat, especially if you book in advance 2) customer service is top notch from check in to check out 3) location 4) decent breakfast 5) common areas still in good shape 6) plenty of parking The only con is that rooms and furnishings show their age and could use a refurbishment. A little outdated, but overall clean and with a very friendly staff! The ice machine in our courtyard did not work, but it wasn't far to the next courtyard. We enjoyed breakfast, with actual plates and mugs and with sausage, egg and muffins on the first day and bacon and cheese omelet the next day. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
