I had read about the Junipine Resort on TripAdvisor and liked that it was located in Oak Creek Canyon -- a few minutes north of crowded Sedona and cooler since it is higher up in the canyon. I cannot say enough good things about the staff -- all friendly and willing to help in anyway possible. However, this place could use some upgrades! The wifi didn't work well and then went out completely near the end of our stay there. This was important because we had "zero" mobile phone service in the ... Read more

We couldn't have made a better choice of place to stay in Sedona, Arizona. Our "room" at the Junipine Resort was like a little house with living room with large stone fireplace, bedroom with 2 queen beds, loft with 2 twin beds, kitchen, bath with 2 sinks, and a lovely deck overlooking the creek and woods. The decor was charming and comfortable. I believe each unit is different. Yes I would stay there again!

We have stayed at Junipine Resort numerous times over the past 20 plus years. This was very disappointing. My wife mentioned it was a special occasion, but nothing was done or offered to make it special. Although the condo was clean (#38), it was dated from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The chairs on the deck were wobbly, one had a crack in it making it unsafe to sit in. (Luckily my wife and I are thin). The coffee maker had no filters, the bathtub had water still it from the cleaning (we assume... Read more

We arrived from Phoenix for a 3 day weekend and were pleasantly greeted by the office staff. Our unit was located directly over Oak Creek and we were able to listen to the roar of the creek throughout our entire stay. The property is in a premium location, in the canyon, with the towering canyon walls reaching up to the star filled sky. We enjoyed watching blue jays, enjoying the holly bushes and aspen trees and we were able to walk straight out to the trail head of the A.B. Young Trail Hike. I... Read more

Our camping plans got rained out and we had to do a last minute search for accommodations. Junipine is a gem that far exceeded our expectations. The staff are friendly and helpful. The condo itself was beautiful and well decorated/maintained. It was an accidental find, but we will definitely return. Thanks Junipine for saving our vacation!

Almost perfect if not for a room shuffle due to some miscommunication with administration and cleaning crew. Beautiful resort, best effort to fix things. Loved The Table and Manager Scott for cheering us up after we weren't able to check in. Great food with delicious breakfast included. Beautiful property, friendly staff. The wi fi was iffy. There really is no room service or AC which we knew and thankfully didn't need. The creek was fantastic. The Dvd library was a nice treat. Maybe we'll try a... Read more

We were here in unit 35 over Memorial Day weekend 2016. From here we visited both Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The location is beautiful, within Oak Creek Canyon, with stunning views. On the grounds there is a trail, on which my husband and I hiked both mornings in the crisp cool air. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The breakfast menu is limited, but it is free, warm, and delicious. Our unit was very well appointed. The only negative was a strong smell of firewood,as the people... Read more

The resort offered free breakfast, but doesn't open until 8am. Left early to go to the Grand Canyon and wanted a decent breakfast before the journey. We were ready to leave by 7:15 and thought we would grab breakfast before leaving. We were never told that their dinner hall wouldn't open for another 45 minutes. What tourist place has their kitchens open up at 8am. Most people who are tourists are up early to see the sites, especially beautiful Sedona's sunrise. The suite was way over priced for ... We found a beautiful place to stay when we found the Junipine! The value was amazing compared to the tourist-type places. A little out of the way, and worth it. We stayed 4 days, and had a beautiful, hot-tub, creek-front condo with fireplace, great service, and all the amenities. Very clean, and everything we wanted except more time to stay there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Stayed here last weekend with my family. It is such a gorgeous location and the two bedrooms with loft was perfect for our family. Breakfast was included for four persons so that was nice as well. The staff was great and very helpful and gave us some great tips on hiking in the area. My kids had a blast playing by the Oak Creek which is right behind the resort. This resort is a peaceful retreat amid incredible beauty. We were there in June, daytime temps high. At night, here, the temperature drops and sleeping with Windows and doors open is perfect. Short drive to downtown Sedona, with all the restaurants and shopping. Get a River view room if you can. Hearing the running water is amazing with the views of the red rocks. Rate this resort "poor" due to no air conditioning, just fans in the hot summer months. Plan to visit in the fall, winter or spring when the temps are more tolerable! Outside hot tub would be awesome in cooler weather. For the price, expected the cottage would include the comfort of air conditioning. Staff was understanding, however, when we decided to move on.

This was a very nice experience. Stayed one night for our 24th anniversary, planning on going back next year to stay a little longer. The bed was comfy. The "condo" was roomy. Everything was clean. And the meal voucher was a perk.

While you can't beat the location along the canyon river the resort is in dire need of a face-lift. We love shabby-chic but it needs to be well maintained and unfortunately that is not the case. The cabin had dirty walls, dilapidated 70's cabinetry and the restaurant had spider webs everywhere. The staff was extremely cordial.

Our eldest son and his wife came to visit from CO and our youngest son from LLU, we took them to Sedona. When we first arrived to the resort it seemed kind of ordinary, but we were pleasantly surprised, the unit was so spacious, well decorated, clean and updated. The view from the balcony was beautiful and peaceful. Loved our little weekend getaway, would definitely stay here again The prices are reasonable, the breakfast was included and it was great. We stayed at the Junipine resort for 2 nights, July 4th to July 6th...we loved the cabin we stayed n, so decided to make this the place where our family and friends would come to stay/ visit when we got married in Sedona. I reserved 5 cabins, all paid for ...mine was outrageous anmount of $ , but considering the weekend I paid it. We had 5 couples stay in 5 cabins for 2-3 nights ...almost $5000.00 and they charged one cabin to 2 different credit cards, 2 different amounts, and for my wedding wee... Read more

The Villas at Junipine are far beyond what we expected when booking. Each unit is an outstanding private large space complete with fireplace, king-sized bed, full kitchen, and oversized deck looking down at the Oak Canyon Creek. I would highly recommend this facility, and would stay there again when returning to Sedona.

very beautiful and peaceful setting - we have stayed there a few other times and have always enjoyed our time there location is a bit of a drive into Sedona so it would have been nice if the restaurant were open more than 2 nights a week for dinner - but there was a nice selection for breakfast and the food was good - although the service was not always the best

As usual, Junipine did not disappoint. This was the 2nd time I've stayed at Junipine Resort and will continue to book in the future. This particular trip was a work trip. It was nice to have space, peace and quiet at the end of a long day. It definitely beat a hotel room and for the same price or less. I would recommend this for any type of traveler and will definitely be back!!!!

This was our second stay at Junipine Resort, and it keeps getting better! The cottages are very spacious and we love that they have a full kitchen. We stopped at the grocery store in flagstaff and stocked up before check in. The VIEW IS AMAZING! We spent a lot of time on the balcony looking at the red canyon walls with the sound of Oak Creek in the background. Be sure not to miss the STARS!!! We brought some binoculars and it was definitely worth it! We will be returing again to our home a... Read more

I have heard about this resort for years and finally got the chance to visit. This is a wonderful, quiet, beautiful getaway for couples or for the family. Creek view rooms are the BEST and the staff was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great place to stay and I hope to be back again.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! My friend was in town from Ohio so of course we had to see the red rocks. This place gave you the outdoor feeling but was so clean and luxurious inside. I loved the heat lamp in the bathroom so you are never cold when you get out of the shower. We will always stay at this place when visiting Sedona.

We loved our 2-say stay and hope to return. The front desk employees were wonderful. We stayed in Room 33 and thought it was gorgeous. Room 25 had old carpeting and could use an upgrade. Our biggest issue (and our complaint was shared by others) was the loud rock radio station blaring throughout The Table restaurant. It was totally inappropriate. Otherwise, the food was excellent.

We loved spending our honeymoon there. Perfect accommodations and loved their restaurant. The view from our back patio was wonderful and the Junipine scent that filled the air was so fragrant I will never forget it.

Twenty years ago to this very week we had a reunion of fraternity brothers and their wives. We came back to an even more rewarding experience! The addition of The Table Restaurant was a nice perk! The entire staff was OUTSTANDING and very responsive to our every need (few as they were!) Friendly and wanting to make our stay perfect was evident with all of them. The resort is very quiet and secluded yet close enough to Sedona/Flagstaff if one needs a crowd!

Outstanding facility. Beautiful setting and beautiful people. Our unit was great. We had most of meals right there at home. God's handy work at its best is that only way I can describe the landscape and terrain. The only minor negative I could give is that we had to pay $6 for two cups of coffee on the way out. That's pretty minor considering all the benefits. We will be back!

We stayed 2 nights at the resort in unit 44 and it was perfect. The condo was tastefully decorated, we had firewood delivered daily and there was even a large supply of coffee, sugars and creamers in the fridge. Lots of towels and amazing views. This is a perfect location to day trip out of to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Prescott. Downtown Sedona is only a 20 minute drive or less. The restaurant has great breakfasts and the staff was always courteous especially Luis.

I had the wonderful privilege of staying at the Junipine Resort over the last weekend and absolutely fell in love with the property. Nestled along Oak Creek this quaint get away allows for easy access to many of the historic landmarks. The leaves were changing and the last week of October seems to be a great week to visit as there weren't very many tourists in the area. A quick ride to town for food and beverages and you'll be all set to enjoy the beauty of Sedona and Oak Creek.

If you are looking for a place to unwind in nature, Junipine fits the bill perfectly. The 1st time I had heard of this creekside resort was after doing an internet search right after 9-11-01. I wanted to take my family somewhere safe and clear our heads and get centered. I have since stayed here several times, most recently at the end of October 2016. Our unit overlooked the creek, so we kept the porch door open so we could hear the creek. The nights are cool this time of year, so the Fireplace ... Read more

The Junipine resort is my favorite place to stay in Sedona. Beautiful views of the red rock and so close it feels you can reach out and touch it. The resort is just far enough out of town that you can see millions of stars at night while sitting in your private jaquzzi out on the back deck. The creek is also another beautiful site to both see and listen to as your relaxing on your private patio/jaquzzi or going in for the night. Breakfast is amazing as well at the resort! Had another great stay at Junipine. As always, beautiful setting and staying in a Creekside condo enjoyed the white sound of Oak Creek. Had breakfast one morning at The Table restaurant and it too, was great. (Cell service with AT&T was nonexistent, but wifi helped with web access. (saw others using their phones, so some providers (Verizon?) have limited coverage.)

We usually take a trip to Sedona in November and stay at Junipine. We cottages are very homey and and comes with a fully furnished "home". However, some of the cottages, like every home, need some minor adjustments. The adjustments should not deter anyone from choosing to stay here. It really is a nice place to stay if you want the rustic, homey experience instead of a hotel stay.

Sedona holds a special place in my heart despite wide travels in the US and abroad. Oak Creek has been my favorite zone within that majestic region. The red rocks and long range views are inspiring but the peaceful easy feeling of the Canyon is extra special. Junipine Resort sits right along Oak Creek, the sculptor of the Canyon. We often left the large sliding door open to enjoy the cool soothing air and hear the sounds of the creek. There is a nice hike along the creek for 2 mile round tr... Read more

We have stayed at this resort 4 times now and we love it. The atmosphere is so tranquil the cabins are great and you have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is someone there 24 hours to assist if needed. We loved walking through the trails and being able to cook our own food. Our family of 16 rented 3 cabins and had a great time. Because your in the mountains the WiFi sucks but we didn't miss it at all. Beautiful scenery.
