The room was hand picked based on recommendations from the front desk clerk, Roxie. Excellent choice! Location of the hotel is in West Sedona which the perfect location for us. We had a car to get around to see the sites, so being west of the Upper Sedona area was fine. The hotel is clean with a pool. Service is excellent. Comfortable beds made us comfortable for the busy days here. 3 nights stay.

Dated hotel but good location for hiking and staying out of Oak Creek traffic. Staff was very friendly. Ample parking and access to local restaurants and nearby shops. Recommend for those not looking to spend any time in hotel but just looking for a place to sleep at night after a long day of hiking or golf.

I have been staying in hotels for the past 35 years. And I have to say, in my opinion, that this hotel has been the most disappointing name brand that I have stayed in. I will say that the front desk people are warm, friendly, and try to be as helpful as they can. The hotel is going though some sort of renovation. After we checked in, we went to the pool only to find that the hot tub was out of service. That was a disappointment right from the get go. Then we went into our room. I c... Read more

We had such a nice experience at the Hampton Inns we recently visited -- everything from the regional, elegant decor to the friendly staff and super clean room -- it made our stay a breeze. The HHonors program was a nice perk with a parking spot waiting for us (almost), flexible check-out (1 hour) and just what we needed for a light breakfast snack and coffee to start us on our way.

Very nice, clean room. Helpful, friendly staff who were able to assist with good eating places that were close and those that were farther down the road from the hotel. Good breakfast. We found that staying at Hampton Inn during this trip that they all had good breakfasts with a good variety. All the Hampton Inns we stayed at during this trip were very nice and they all had very helpful, friendly staff. I also loved that in Sedona the window was open to allow in the fresh cool air.

Iā??m actually surprised by the poor reviews of this hotel. After staying as the Grand Canyon and Lake Powell, this Hampton Inn felt very new and modern. The main improvements over those two stays were air conditioning, lots of electrical outlets available to charge all of your devices, and wifi throughout. The room was clean and the furnishings were not worn. We had a pool view room, which our kids liked. The pool was the warmest temperature of the various locations where we stayed and the... Read more

We travel quite a bit and use Hilton / Hampton as my husband travels for buisness. We stay at local non chain at times also. This Hampton was an Extreme disappointment and NOT up to participate with the Hampton chain. Beginning with a receptionist that was not friendly the bed in our room was ABSOLUTELY NOT standard comfort. It was lumpy and sagged. We attempted breakfast two mornings only to experience No Eggs/No Sausage BOTH mornings. Sat and waited each morning as did others Over 15 minutes. ... Read more

Stayed with the family for the weekend. I've stayed at many Hampton Inns across the country. This one is not different in the services or complementary breakfast. Same breakfast items that are heated up across the country. Not to say it's bad, but definitely tiring when you've lived out of a Hampton Inn for work. The kids seemed to enjoy the waffle maker. This hotel is in a great location just outside of the tourist district of Sedona. The price was reasonable for the area. The lobby has been updated with modern colors and furniture. However, my room was outdated and had some unwanted guests. I would expect a bug or two when traveling but was surprised nonetheless. The hotel manager, who had just moved from Cali, was warm and friendly.

The Hampton Inn in Sedona has a very welcoming and nicely decorated lobby. But breakfast is poor and rooms, although spacious, smell bad. As always it is due to the dirty moquette and the only way to keep the bad smell away from your nose is to keep the AC at freezing temperature. Maybe the management to could have it deep clean on a regular basis.
