My wife and son and I spent a night here in late January (2017). It seems we never stay in the same place twice in Sedona as we like to explore options. The Desert Quail is a basic motel but is completely adequate for a reasonably priced place to spend a night or two. The front desk attendant was friendly and gave me a discount for booking on line. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out and relax once the sun went down. Another nice thing is the location. There... Read more

Quaint well cared for hotel. We were looking for a room that was reasonable and quiet. We were very happy to find this Inn. Close to Uptown and very pleasant. We stayed in a King with fireplace room and we would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay because of friendly owners, immaculate accommodations, wonderful new mattress, pillows, bedding, and everything else we needed. The price was right and we were close to all the sites we had planned to visit. There's a cafe just behind the Inn - handy with good food. I would highly recommended the Desert Quail Inn.

Stayed one night at the Desert Quail Inn while in Sedona. Sis and BIL have a winter place in Fountain Hills, AZ and husband and I visited from Ohio. We drove to the Grand Canyon and then back to Sedona to spend the night. The Desert Quail was really nice! The room was updated and very CLEAN! The king bed was very comfortable and there was a spacious countertop with sink for spreading out toiletries, curling iron, etc. There was also a flat screen TV. coffee pot with coffee, tea and hot cho... Stayed here a couple of nights during our escape from Minnesota winter weather. Sedona is about 7 miles up the road. This is an older property that has been meticulously refurbished by an expert hand. No sloppy painting of these walls. But, also NO indoor pool or hot tub. So, much too chilly to use the outdoor ones!

I visited Desert Quail Inn October 31st and I was expecting something ok. I was pleasantly surprise to find have found this place! It is just 10 mins away from downtown Sedona and it is best that way if you are like me and don't crave crowds! When I checked in they offered me a room with a fireplace which I declined, I said I preferred a balcony room so I can have a view over Bell rock. The location of this place is really awesome, near cafe, tourist info, grocery, restaurants and bell rock. The... Read more

We had the opportunity to stay in Sedona for two nights and feel very lucky to have found this little Jewel of a Hotel at a reasonable price, not including breakfast but it's free parking and close to ....really walking distance to a supermarket as well as a great breakfast place and dinner place as well as the Gap Outlet nearby. We totally recommend this place, very clean and very modern, and not what you would expect from an independent Motel. As well very quiet and comfortable.

My girlfriend and I LOVED this hotel! From the spacious layout to the king bed to the fireplace to the in-room jacuzzi, this was a really relaxing and romantic place to recharge in between activities. Nice, central location along the main state route, walking distance to delicious local restaurants and cafes and not far from Sedona's best hikes and attractions. Friendly and helpful staff too! Definitely will stay again!

We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip to Sedona. The check-in process was quick and the owner was very helpful in recommending restaurants. We got to our room and the receiver for the TV was not working, we called down to the front desk and they responded within a matter of a few minutes to fix the receiver. The room was very clean. Nothing super special in the rooms, standard amenities (TV, hair dryer, microwave, fridge, etc), but I appreciate the room and the property's attention to... Read more

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the Sedona area. Really spacious rooms with great facilities (tv, wifi, laundry etc.) Location is fantastic for visiting the area and it's not traffic central like in the middle of town. Owner is very helpful with lots of good advice. Couldn't recommend it more!
