We stayed at the Villas and loved it! We stayed in a 1 bedroom with a small kitchen and living area. Hotel amenities are great and we liked that they have two pools; one for the kids and one for the adults. Its also a short walk to the main hotel property with the lazy river, adult pool and other amenities. We really liked being able to go between the two properties. The main hotel can get a bit too lively for our tastes so it was nice to be able to go back to the Villas where things are more me... Read more

I own 6 timeshare weeks at the Westin Kierland Villas and this was my very first time staying at this resort (go figure and don't ask...). It was also my first time ever in Scottsdale. I love the dry heat and the weather was perfect over Memorial Day Weekend. Although I didn't get the building # that I requested, I didn't make a big deal of it. I figured they would try to accommodate requests of owners. Stayed in the 1BR Premium villa and requested a rollaway bed for our 9 yr old son. The rollaw... Read more

This was our first time staying at a villa property that also has a neighboring resort. I was under the impression that the villa property would not have the same level of service and amenities at the resort...boy was I wrong! The Westin Kierland Villas had an incredible level of service and great amenities! Morgan and Tanner kept the entertainment going at the pool and had learned my kids' names within the first hour. They were sweet, fun, and so great with the kids! The pool kept my kids happy... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Kierland Villas. It's a beautiful property with great pools and activities. We came to Phoenix to see the Giants play the Dbacks and are glad we decided to stay here. I haven't been to Scottsdale before but expect that we will come back and stay here again.

My husband and I took our mothers on a week long vacation to Scottsdale and stayed at this resort using our timeshare exchange. We were very pleased we had a two bedroom lockout that was spacious and well appointed. Our moms loved the property and enjoyed relaxing at the pool. We did too! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because there weren't many activities going on at the resort. Many timeshare properties have fun and varied activity schedules for the guests. We missed that.

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Kierland Villas for a week and did not want to leave. It is such a lovely property. So peaceful, with all the conveniences of home. Great restaurants and spa and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are so comfy with the ever famous, heavenly bed - it really is heavenly! The Villas offer soft, comfy spa robes, has a kitchen, including washer dryer. There are also grills stategically located at different locaitons throughout the property, to grill and e... Read more

Staying at the villas is like having the best of both worlds, the Westin Hotel and the Westin Villas. We went to the hotel and the chairs by the pool are plastic and cheap, you have to pay for an upgrade of $25 to $200 to get a chair with a cushion or a cabana. The pool chairs at the villas are padded and much better for free, and the upgrade to a cabana is $50. The service is great at either, the hotel has the lazy river and the surf rider, the villa has more activities and the prices are sl... Read more

Love Love Loved it! The villas were clean and well appointed. The staff was great, from the check-in to the cleaning staff to the pool attendants, everyone was wonderful. As a guest of the villas you are able to take a shuttle over to the main hotel to swim, but we loved the pools so much at the villas that we only went to the hotel for one day. Waiters bring you ice water and frozen grapes for free throughout the day, and the lounge chairs are great. We will definitely visit again.

A few years ago, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Westin Scottsdale villas in the glaring heat of August. Despite the temperature, our experience then was very memorable. We were treated like royalty, and the concierge took pains to make us feel very welcome, surprising us with champagne and a personally written card. In fact, we enjoyed our visit so much that we purchased a timeshare with Westin, intending to return many times in the future. However, this time our visit in 2... Read more

Was our first time back in nearly 2.5 years and I don't know what happened with the level of service (see my previous reviews of how great I thought of this place). What's more disappointing is that I was here with my brother and SIL as well as my close friend and his wife, who were all potential clients that I was trying to impress. Let's get to the few good things about the property. 1. Our concierge, Cat, was awesome. She reached out via email and phone call prior to arrival to see i... Read more

As an owner I'm so disappointed in how they've let these villas go. They're so outdated and no attention is paid to their upkeep. Today is my checkout day for a staycation with my daughter. We spent both nights fighting mosquitoes, flies and gnats in the room -- we were on the ground floor. The coffee maker must be from the 1980s, very small TV in bedroom, no separate shower (had a tub shower combo). Nowhere near the caliber of other resorts in the Starwood Vacation Club. I'm not a golfer, but I... Read more

The Westin Kierland Villas has nice rooms. There are bagpipers at sunset that stroll around the courtyard. The bagpipers can be noisy. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is not free. There is an outdoor pool although the adult's pool is close to the children's pool. There are a few smoking areas.
