We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel that feels more like a condo complex with great restaurants. Our upgraded room was wonderful! It had a nice size bedroom and a large sitting area with a wet bar and small fridge and tv. It also included a lovely patio just outside the sitting area. The property itself is incredibly well maintained and extremely quiet, especially at night. During the day there were beautiful flowers everywhere and birds singing happily throughout the property. The Plaza Resort seems to be an older complex that has been remodeled at some point. It may be about time for another update of rooms in the near future. The common areas are very nice and well kept. Spa was adequate. Staff for the most part was very nice. There for business so meals were all pre planned and well staffed.

This is a stunning property licated in the Paradise Valley area of Scottsdale. It has beautifully landscaped grounds, four lovely pools, and very tastefully furnished rooms with comfortable beds and a nice chair as well as a desk with ergonomic chair. The dressing area outside the sleeping area is well appointed and spacious and the shower is to die for. While I had a room with two queen beds, the resort has a large variety of accommodations including two-story suites. And free WiFi! There is a... Read more

I did not realise the size of the place when I booked online. Had I known I was to be accommodated at the far end of a sprawling complex, I might have decided differently. While I appreciated the size and peacefulness of my 1 bedroom villa, I did not like the fact that I either had to walk quite a distance to get to the front lobby or call a shuttle to pick me up. The rooms are dark -- perhaps a lighter touch with paint and flooring, or more adequate lighting would liven them up. There are sev... Read more

I happened upon a good deal on Hotels.com for a great rate. I had never stayed at this report previously but thought I'd try it out. Glad I did! Great location, loved the main pool and outside bar areas! It'd be really awesome if it was a no smoking pool.

I was looking for something new and different and blindly chose this resort from an Internet search. I wanted quiet and relaxing and was hoping for a lazy river but got Arizonas largest jacuzzi instead! What a joy! Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Loved the walk in shower! The pool area did not disappoint and the jacuzzi was glorious. We will go again.

We loved this place! It is a beautiful resort with wonderful amenities. We really enjoyed the different pools and jacuzzis. The main pool was huge and had the biggest jacuzzi I have ever seen in my life, it easily could have fit 100 people. There was also a courtyard pool that our room over looked that was extremely quiet and relaxing. The service here was great and we really enjoyed our multi level room. It came with 2 huge bathrooms that each had showers and a nice soaking tub. They patio was ... Read more

The hotel grounds are nice, especially the pool. The towels in the room are stiff, they probably don't use fabric softener. Also, the tv/satellite was out for a while in the room. There are gaps under the entry doors which could allow for insects in the room. The gym was eery. It is located at the end of the property. I went around 7pm and no one was in there, not even a hotel employee. You have to swipe your room card to gain access but the door seemed flimsy. The bathrooms are upstairs an... Read more

By Steve June 17 2016 This was my families 11 trip to the Plaza and we couldn't have been happier. Rooms very clean and resort is doing a complete remodel and it looked great anyway. 5 of the cleanest pools you will ever see along with 3 clean hot tubs. 3 great eating locations on site and a very friendly staff. All of this with a $100 food and beverage credit per night and a spa for the ladies and you can't beat it. It's cheaper for me to bring my family to the Plaza than for me to vacation in... Read more

People are very friendly; on a scale of 1-10, customer service is 11. They have a cart to drive you to your room. You can also call for cart to pick you up. Restaurant has good food and reasonable. Buffet breakfast was only $12.95. Though this was a business trip, I would stay here when vacationing in the area. Highly recommend.

Was there as part of a conference. It was extremely hot so the food provided by the hotel was very good and not terribly expensive. They have golf carts that will pick you up and take to other locations within the resort which is good because buildings are not connected. Pool was open 24 hrs which was great. Shuttle to and from the airport is $23 each way and it should really be free. Overall great experience. Would go there again.

We had been to Remington's for lunch earlier this year. When we saw the summer deal advertised, we decided to try the resort. The room (which we upgraded to a suite) was very nice with a living room and dining area and a separate bedroom and bath off a hallway. Its undergoing renovations. The rooms are southwestern style. Fairly nice other than the tv glitching out and two bugs on one of the beds. Don't think they were bed bugs. Property is nice when its not under renovation. Which half the resort is. So be ready for saws and jackhammers and huge dumpsters for of renovation trash and smell. Might be better once the renovation is done which looks like several months. Lots of little add ons on your final bill as well.

It is a good location, well suited for a small conference. I was disappointed that in the 3 days we were there we had to move 3X because of room issues. Last move was non working AC so glad to move but just one more disruption. Food at breatfast buffett was not up to resort quality or variety.

Having house redone and a great get-a- way place. Yet close to my home to check on remodeling progress. Enjoyed the food and staff was friendly. Lovely and comfortable rooms. Slept well. Felt safe as stayed as a solo. Only complaint was to have chair and hammock at an angle to see the tv better. The bell man said no problem and situated the char so I could watch tv better and more comfortable.

We recently stayed at the Scottsdale Plaza for a work-related conference. We actually visited someone staying at the Scottsdale Plaza back in 2013, so I thought I had some idea of what to expect. However, when we arrived at our room, it was clearly newly renovated and looked much better than I remembered or imagined! We had a 2-queen room in the 300 building on the south side of the property, near the lobby building. The room was very spacious, and as we were travelling with our young baby, I ... Read more

We had a great time stayig at the property. The band that played at the pool was awesome. The property itself was very clean and maintained. Rooms were very large and clean. Oerall the experience was great. The only complaint was the pool drinks were very expensive for what you got. $10 a drink for a 10 oz drink that didnt even have a shot of alcohol in it was a bit much.
