Hotel was hard to find as there are no big signs. Finding the entrance from MapQuest directions was difficult. Rooms are spacious and include a refrigerator. We asked tourist type questions at the front desk and they did not have good answers, which certainly surprised us. The breakfast buffet was very good and reasonable for this area. Pool area was very nice.

Very large pool with exceptionally large and comfortable outdoor patio with two fire pits and plenty of cozy sitting areas. Comfortable and cozy guest sitting area in lobby with double sided fireplace, friendly and efficient service, tasty made to order breakfast and comfortable bed. ( pillows were too soft for our preference) Very clean rooms and bathrooms...hotel is planning a renovation to modernize even further.

Very nice hotel right near Old Town. Check-in was so nice and easy. The front desk staff is so friendly and welcoming. I did love the Chinese Cookie promotion. I received more Hilton Honors Points (woo hoo!!!). The room itself was very comfortable although it was showing a bit of wear in the carpets. The room was very quiet and spacious. I did really like the underground parking. Kept the car out of the hot desert sun. The pool was very nice and there is an abundance of seating. We wil... Read more

As usual Hilton Garden Inn was friendly and clean. The location of this particular hotel was great - within walking distance to many shops and great restaurants. It also had a great outdoor patio and pool area that can be enjoyed from the early morning hours through the evening. Parking was easy and underground which helped keep it cool. Overall it is a nice place to stay in a great area.

What a wonderful hotel! I read some reviews on here and at first I was hesitant but considering the sources, I ignored them. Clean room. Amazing staff. Comfortable bed. Absolutely perfect stay. We were only staying for one night but after a long Sunday bar hopping....we ended up back there. While all the staff was exceptional, I only got one name: Kevin Fennell. He was terrific! I left my charger in my friends car so he charged it up for me! I was beyond happy! Thank you Kevin. All ... Read more

Checked in pretty late but were delighted to find that we were steps away from Old Town Scottsdale (the name does not lie!) with plenty of dinner options available. Staff members were friendly and helpful. On-site parking outside and below the hotel. Though we didn't have time to check it out, there is a pool, too. Bedrooms were quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. And one of our favorite parts: the delicious breakfast with buffet and made-to-order options! Try an omelette or a pancake!

The hotel itself was above average, nothing great, however, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and always ready to go above expectation. All of them were great, from the ones who served breakfast to the front desk people. For me, it's the staff of a hotel that really make my stay. When I say that the hotel itself was nothing great, what I mean is that it's getting a little old and is starting to show it's age, in both, the decor and the wear and tear of the furnishings and fittings.... Room was clean and decent, but starting in August through late Fall, they will be remodeling two floors at a time. That will probably make the rooms even better! Rooms were quiet. Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Right in the heart of Scottsdale Old Town. I stay there often and never disappointed. Breakfast is the same as any HGI or equivalent hotel. Nice outside seating area with fire pits.

We stayed in a newly renovated room, nice toiletries, spotless, spacious and comfortable located within walking distance of restaurants, bars etc. in Old Town Scottsdale. Free self parking with easy access to major arteries. This hotel was quite a good value. Friendly staff. I would stay here again.

They are doing remodel, but have it under control so it does not interfere with a pleasant stay. The new remodeled rooms are very well done. Some of the best lighting I have seen in a hotel room in a long time. It's always disappointing to be in a room where the lights are in adequate or dim. They have plenty of fixtures are using new bright LED bulbs. Breakfast choices are good and service was excellent. I was a bit surprised that they limit the volume on the TV to about half of the potential,... Read more

Stopped here for 5 days in October 2016. Great hotel in the heart of Scottsdale. Close to all the amenities, with helpful and friendly staff. Modernisation ongoing during the stay which on occasions did mar the stay. That said the new areas looked much fresher and more up to date.

My stay here was excellent. The location, wonderful. Did not have to drive, just parked the car and rode the trolley to nearby locations. My room was all I needed. Nice lunch by the pool, breakfast cooked to order. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Scottsdale. Looking forward to checking out other locations soon.

Although they are doing some remaodel work it is an excellent choice for the area. Very near Old Scottsdale, can get local transport around the area, no need to drive and find parking. Choice of local restaurants is outstanding, newly remodeled rooms are very well done. Appreciate the lighting and in room Keurig Coffee makers along with mini fridge and micro wave. Very comfortable bed. Great staff.

We love these HGIs and this one in Scottsdale is terrific. Highly recommend AND it's near the Sugar Bowl ice cream shop! The hotel is clean and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Will stay there again for sure.

Stayed there with a photography tour. It was very hot outside but I did walk a few blocks to Old Town in 90 plus heat. I would be happy to go back in cooler weather. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning did not blast as it does in some hotels.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn Scottsdale Old Town in early November. The room was a renovated one that faced out on to Indian School Road. There is a bit of noise from the traffic, but that's to be expected. The room was spacious, and very clean. We had a small refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig. There is no safe in room, which would have been nice (for passports), but it's not a deal breaker. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops ve... Read more

The Hilton Garden Inn is an easy drive from the airport and outlying areas of Phoenix. This hotel is located across the street from Scottsdale Old Town with great restaurants and shopping. The hotel has a very nice outdoor seating and pool area, and rooms have just been renovated!

This hotel is on the old side - so I wasn't expecting much. But, the rooms are quite spacious, comfortable and well kept - especially compared to the average Garden Inn. The staff were very nice and there is free parking under ground. The location is right next to the Old Town - so very convenient.

Nice hotel, did have a pool but we arrived too late to use it, rooms OK but with coffee making faciities and fridge. None of hotels really catered for tea drinking Brits so you have to take your own tea bags and use imagination as hot water machines are meant for coffee. Scottsdale old town is on the doorstep, it is very pretty and easy to negotiate.Lots of fairy lights and interesting shops [which were closed when we got there] Plenty of eating places and a couple of music bars.

Great location, great facility. Walking distance of several great restaurants, bars, shopping and Art Galleries. Great outdoor area where we enjoyed our own bottle of wine and snacks. Will stay here next time to the Phoenix area.

I stayed two nights in November of 2016. The hotel is undergoing renovations. The carpet is dirty, and there is construction equipment in the parking garage all over. Paint is in poor condition all over the property. The iron in my room was disgusting, and stained one of my shirts. The complimentary bikes they advertise are in such poor repair, I thought I was going to crash. For the price they charge, there are much better accommodations in Scottsdale. I ate lunch in the restaurant in the l... Read more

This hotel is a great location close actually in old town Scottsdale and close to other great shopping centers and bike riding trails. Even while in remodeling, there was no inconvenience. Loved having bikes on the premises to take out, but they do need to adjust one of them ??? Other than that it was a great experience, even having the bike be a little off, it was fun

My husband and I stayed here for one night after a vacation down south because it was closer to sky harbor but still in a walkable, fun area. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming as was the nicely decorated lobby. That said, I was NOT a fan of the newly decorated rooms. This is, of course, my personal taste and you may love them, but I think they are way too sterile and not homey at all. The lighting is soooooo bright. Like think fluorescent bulb bright! It's just wasnt a room you w... Read more
