This was our first stay at the Scottsdale Four Seasons and we'll definitely return! Here are my highlights: Very friendly and helpful staff! Prior to our stay, I had a 50 mile run at the Grand Canyon. The hotel surprised me with Gatorade, bananas, and a hearing body balm in my casita. We stayed in a 1 bed/ 2 bath casita with tile and wood floors, private plunge pool, fireplaces, and an outdoor shower Beautiful grounds Reserve a cabana by the pool. It's a great spot to layout and have lun... Read more

We stayed at this Four Seasons resort to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. Gorgeous property and top notch service. I just want to share one wrinkle we had that may help some of you avoid the same embarrassment we just experienced at the concierge desk. For our anniversary my husband gave me a fine bottle of wine. $130 fine.....not cheap and not crazy expensive...but still a respectable bottle of wine. He gave it to me prior to our departure because he reasonably believed that it would... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our escorted tour. The resort is lovely with wonderful amenities. Our room was large and looked out over the desert. Service at the pool was excellent - large pitchers of ice water and fruit skewers were complimentary, and one of the pool staff was cleaning sunglasses. Maid service was excellent in our room and they did a lot of extra things that I have never seen at other resorts. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. This is definitely a top... Hands down one of the best resorts we've ever had the opportunity to enjoy. Absolutely top-notch in every way: from ANY of the staff, to the pool aesthetic, to the restaurants & food, to the resort grounds, rooms, and amenities. I have already been raving about it to friends & family back home and would 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking for a luxurious yet not pretentious stay in the Sonoran Desert. The ONLY qualm is that it's located at the very northern part of Scottsdale, meaning tha... Read more

Around 15 years ago we fell in love with the magic of the Sonoran Desert, its iconic Saguaro cactus and magnificent desert landscape. Since then we have visited annually from the UK, initially staying at several other four and five star properties in the area as well as the Four Seasons. For the last 12 years or so we have stayed almost exclusively at FS Scottsdale, as in our opinion it is the best property with the best location, grounds, amenities and most importantly attitude of staff to cor... Stayed here for 5 nights . Our room was very comfortable and well maintained . The laundry service was excellent . We used the Spa which was fairly small and you should get written confirmation of appointments which otherwise seem to be changed without letting you know . The restaurants were good , but device could be a little slow at times . The pool area was well staffed and the pool bar was particularly good , both in quality of food and service . The only downside to this hotel is the f... Read more

Just returned from a 4-night stay. The property is gorgeous and blends into the natural desert surroundings. The pool has ample comfortable seating and the water temp was perfect. We have a young child so having a kiddie pool was a plus for us. Pool side service was attentive and the food/cocktails were of excellent quality. We dined at Proof and enjoyed the comfort-food menu. I loved the decor/theme of this restaurant. Meal service was always excellent. We stayed in a Premier King Casit... Read more

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Great service and food. Good for golfers but also for families, my kids loved the kids club and pool. Wake up early for a beautiful sunrise and don't miss the hike at Pinnacle Peak Park, great views from the top. The earlier you go the better as it gets very hot!

We recently spent a long weekend ate the Four Seasons Scottsdale resort. When researching resorts in the area, I felt this one would fit our desires best. And it did. It is a bit further from Scottsdale and Phoenix, but still less than a 30 min drive downtown. The resort is nestled near golf courses and smaller mountain peaks. There are 2 on site restaurants, 3 pools, and tennis courts. We enjoyed both restaurants, Proof for breakfast and dinner, Talavera for dinner. Proof did right by the ... Read more

Stayed over the weekend in early June, had a great time. Loved the view from our room 2305, especially at night with the mountain and stars in the background... very romantic. Enjoyed the pool and the food... The workers for the concierge to the pool staff were great. Went for a hike at Pinnacle Peak organized by the hotel and really enjoyed it. Also liked that parking was available right outside the room, it allowed me to go as I please with out having to use valet. I was a bit worried about th... Read more

We loved staying at the Four Seasons. We were in the Residence Club, and our room and balcony were terrific! We enjoyed the walk to the main part of the resort through the cacti! What beautiful surroundings! The staff was attentive to our every need. Someone even came to our cabana by the pool to clean our sunglasses!! We were in town for a wedding and decided to spend and extra couple days in the area. We chose the Four Seasons for our base and are continually impressed by the brand. We chose a second floor casita which was well furnished and clean. The property is laid out to provide the most privacy possible. Also well laid out is the pool complex in the middle of the property. The service at Four Seasons was as expected...impeccable...with one minor blip. "Eric with a C" as we fondly referred, was the only staff member who was less than gracious with a request. However, the rest of the staff from the wedding coordinator to the housekeeping staff were kind, friendly, and responsive. Our room was a standard two-bed desert facing option. Don't get me wrong, we do have a comfortable bed, but the first thing I noticed when I walked in was old and worn and stained carpet. We stayed at this lovely resort for two nights at the beginning of our Tauck Tour Canyonlands. Lovely low rise casitas blend into the stark desert landscape. The resort is quite spread out, but you can always call for a golf cart if you don't want to walk. We actually enjoyed strolling the curving pathways, enhanced by wonderful landscaping and evening mesquite fires. After check-in the first day, we took advantage of their free local beer tasting and then had a fabulous dinner at the Onyx ... Read more

This is our third visit to the four seasons and I can not say enough positive things. First, the staff are fabulous, friendly and always trying to assist. (I realize this should come with the job but it is increasingly rare) The tasteful decorating and wonderful food add to the absolutely fabulous location. Somehow they (The Four Seasons) make this fairly large resort feel like a small desert oasis. We were there during a period of a clearly well booked hotel and still felt alone in our littl... Out in the desert far from Phoenix and Scottsdale but near enough to use the facilities that the cities offer. The design of the resort camouflages the buildings and fits them into the landscape nicely. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and great views of the surrounding desert and all very private. Service was always splendid and very attentive but not intrusive. Good choice of restaurants for breakfast and evening meal with varied menus and a good wine list. Useful laundry facilities and ic... The staff is friendly and courteous, the Casitas are lovely with wonderful views, very spacious, clean, well appointed. We had breakfast lunch and dinner served as part of our conference and the food was absolutely four stars. Everything was top notch high-quality and made for a great experience. The location is great for hiking, with pinnacle Peak just nearby. Also a great location for those wanting a spa treatment and the services are wonderful. My husband and I stayed at the Four Season for 4 nights at the beginning of a road trip to visit family. Oh my! Beautiful, quiet room that had us feeling we were the only people there. From the style of the room to the comfort of the bed, absolute perfection. The staff within the resort were all friendly and helpful. The buildings all blend seamlessly into the environment and its surrounding landscape. Each of the restaurants and bars offer amazing food and fun cocktails. I am hopeful that we wi... Read more

We just finished 7 days here at this beautiful resort with our two young kids. While Four seaons are very expensive, it is worth the experience. They are also the most family friendly hotels we have found. This resort is beautiful, the grounds are immaculate and the burning of the mesquite firewood at nighttime are the subtle details that make their properties unique. We loved the Proof restaurant for breakfast and dinner, there are places local if you want to get off too. I will caution th... Read more

4:00pm Thursday afternoon. Arrive Four Seasons. Pull up in my car, greeted by the very nice valet who says he will hold the car up front while I check in. Go to the front desk, show them my cc/id - explain that yes, I've stayed with them many times (wonder why I'm not in the system!) - am given my key, and I ask if the room is ready, ice .. then the nice young man walks me back to the front where my car is - you see, I'm going to drive myself to my $2400 a night suite! We booked this hotel to relax after our tour of the canyons. Our choice for this hotel wasn't an easy one solely because the price range exceeded what we had been looking for, but we finally booked it because of the spaciousness of the suites and the quality of the amenities. The price issue once forgotten, we have had the most relaxing stay at a hotel in all of our lives. Actually, we could have stayed on our patio overlooking the cactus covered hill all day watching the sun rise and set with... Read more

We stayed at the beatiful Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale with our three kids for three nights during our 1 month trip to the U.S. and everything was perfection from start to finish. We had booked a suite to accomodate us all and it was beautiful. Seperate bedroom with kingsize bed and seperate bathroom. A living room with a sofabed, which was turned into a bed at night for our two eldest, also with seperate bathroom. The kids were greeted by personalized goodie-bags and teddys and they were thri... If you're looking for quiet, you'll find it here. Just driving up, the scenery is gorgeous. The entire property is filled with cactus, mountains, some animals, but overall just a serene place to be. The restaurant/bar that overlooks the mountains is breathless. There is a resort fee and spa, a little on the pricey end but it's a Four Seasons...you expect it and you're getting a nice quality stay!

We just completed a five night stay at the resort and couldn't be happier with the experience. Grounds: Serene, peaceful desert vibe. As a first time visitor, I'd say the pictures don't do it justice either. The architecture throughout takes you to a different and wonderful place. Food: Excellent! Ate most of our meals on property during our stay, and could do another 2-3 days without it getting old. This is my second time at the resort. This time for business, the last time for a vacation. I have to say that I have been disappointed in the service. I won't be staying at this hotel again if I have a choice - there are so many options in Scottsdale/Phoenix. Pros: - Not sure I can think of any right now, but to be constructive since I am very jet lagged!... - resort is quiet and is in a beautiful area - the backdrop of the natural beauty of the resort is great - it is very quiet, and the l... Average and overpriced even for a Four Seasons. Quiet, nice layout but not impressed at all for the pricetag. Room wasnt ready, Housekeeping was always late, staff seemed very overwhelmed at times, especially Pool Side. Food just OK, burgers, nachos, etc poolside. If it wasnt for the natural beauty of the desert I would be giving it a big thumbs down. I have stayed and many other Four Seasons, this was simply below expectations.

We have been coming here every year for over a decade and a half. The Sonoran desert is tranquil, healing and serene. This resort is nestled in a preserve of crazy rock formations in the hills above Scottsdale. The sunsets are always amazing. The view from the resort are all the way across the Phoenix valley to the southwest. The design of the hotel is understated elegance. We just returned from this resort and both my wife and I felt it was one of the best places we have ever stayed in 30 years of travel. The room was clean and well appointed. Bedding was extremely comfortable, furniture perhaps slightly dated. The rest of the resort was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The Proof restaurant was delightful and while somewhat expensive, worth the money. The Staff could not have been more helpful. They were relaxed and friendly, not at all stuffy or fawning. I had ... Great service! Great resort. We stayed in a 2-bedroom residence. Nice and spacious. We have been here several times and love it here. We are always impressed with the service. Can't say enough good things regarding the staff. Love all the rooms by the pool area. Easy access. Higher floor has good views of mountains. It is a luxury resort. We stayed one week. The kids loved the frozen ice cream & fruits by the pool. Traveled in August 2015.

Last weekend I stayed here to celebrate a family birthday. The setting is nice, nestled in the desert near a mountain and quite removed from Phoenix/Scottsdale (literally 30 mins to get to the heart of Scottsdale so this is a plus in terms of ambience at the property but a minus if you want to go to town a lot). The rooms are quite tired however, with all of us who stayed there thinking "huh?" when we went into our rooms and saw the dated decor and furniture. The hotel was built in 1999 and... Read more

I was just kicking back this day after Thanksgiving, reminiscing a bit, and the Four Seasons at Troon North popped in my head and it put a smile on my face. And then I kicked myself and thought "why haven't you gotten back over there?!". I first visited this wonderful resort the year after a terrible stay at the Phoenician. This is a beautiful property with excellent service. The rooms are Casitas and lovely. There is a large bathroom which is well stocked. Thete is a small extra room with ironing board and safe. The room has a fireplace and lovely view. The facilities for the conference are very good. They are also able to handle events which need to be kosher. Would definitely come back.
